Disappointed with recent visit. We chose Tipples for Sunday pub lunch. Very excited because we havent been there in over 2 years.On arrival, no one was there to greet us at the door. Not to worry, walked through into the bar section where there seem to be a staff meeting going on. After a few awkward seconds, we looking at them and them looking at us, one waiter/cleaner/barman/car attended grabbed a menu and asked us where we would like to be seeted. No introduction.We didnt worry and said anywhere. The attendant then said shell be back to take our order. We sat there waiting for 15 minutes before another attendant came to us. In this time I changed my mind 3 times on what to order. We decided to leave... Menu wasnt that great for a Sunday lunch and not what we were looking for. The deal breaker was the waiting on service. First impression 🤨

Enjoyed a lunch at this bar restaurant with a friend. The food was above average but the service was VERY POOR. Prices are competitive. Dont go if you in a rush, or you will miss your next appointment.

Great place and great vibes.. they have awesome specials on Mondays which are half price pizza and Thursdays half price burger.The staff is great and friendly. This is a great place to visit after a long day at work or a night out. It has a modern ambiance, an outside deck and smoking area.Happy hour from 5pm -6pm on Mondays to Thursdays

The management in this place is usually not the best, and they get a new manager weekly, and Ive heard a lot of stories about the disrespect in the working area...The staff look miserable and mistreated, yet theyre still nice and manage to keep a smile on their face...what a shame.

Good for a drink and a yummy meal. Well priced and hood service.The atmosphere is also relaxing and unwinding with a great view of the sunset.

Cowboy burger was great, make sure you like it hot!🙂 Spanish burger delicious so are the chips and onion rings, well done!

Food took eons to come out... so annoying, when the food eventually came out it was cold. Flavour nothing to write home about. Vibe was rather nice though, staff was great.

This was my first time being at the pub and it was great, food was excellent, service was impeccable the waitress was fast and efficient

I ordered a Fokof lager draft and it tasted terrible, no gass and it literally tasted like rust and old wood. Wouldnt go back there quickly again.

Amazing!! Even through and after lockdown. Dropped in for a draft the other day. Ice cold, excellent service. AND they have expanded! That takes guts and vision. Nothing better than to sit on the deck, enjoying the magnificent view, a draft and a fabolustic burger. Cannot wait for my boy to visit from Buthan, so we can again ecperience Tipples.

Good afternoon. I was exteamly disappointed on the quality of your food. The burger patty was dry and the burger was thrown dead with chillies were I asked for a few jalapenos. I have been a regular client of your institution but must say once again I was extremely disappointed.

An awesome pub with great atmosphere. Perfect for business lunches, drinks or dinner. Inside and outside seating as well as non-smoking bar area. There is also seating and a bar area for smokers. I recommend Tipples for business or pleasure.

Fantastic baskets ,ribs and pizza! The weekly specials are unbeatable but need A few more Waitrons to make it 5 star... however Anthony does go the extra mile to make this our favourite pub/restaurant in Durbanville

Great spot! The chilling atmosphere is good for a friendly hangout with friends and family. With the new additions to the area with an outside balcony and inside sitting area and a cornered of section for smoking.

First visit experience was fantastic. This is a great place to have drinks and the service and food was good. Good venue to watch sports as well. Will definitely return to sample more of the menu.

We live right across the place. It was our go to place for a drink and some food. At one stage we were there 3 times a week. After loosing our food bill and ignoring our table. We didnt return for a month. Today we went back to give them a second chance. Our food bill was again lost. We were asked for our keys at the table. First time in my life. They clearly have people walking out often. Sad to say. This as this last. Spare your money and your time. As it will be wasted at this venue. Very excited for the next place. As they will be insolvent soon. Tables around us ordering and paying directly at the bar. Worst run restaurant Ive been to. Goodluck!
