Delicious gnocchi and an all round great dining experience. The only star short is the ambiance but that may just be a matter of taste.

Horrible!!!! Even though waiters were quite friendly, bouncer was literally aggressive and looking for a fight! We understand you need to close down an hour before because of the lockdown. Even though we told him that we are waiting for the pos machine he didn’t care. Literally almost things got physical and his colleague had to come and tell him that we are waiting for the pos machine, so he can leave.Lockdown regulations doesn’t mean you can attack your consumers. DISGUSTING.

The place is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming. The manager asked the bouncer to throw us out because he couldnt solve a simple problem of reversing a drink!!! That for me was very poor. Apologize if you are not able to do your job , just dont throw people out because you are under pressure.

I accidentally overpaid my bill by a significant amount and they refused to refund me the full amount that I overpaid despite the bill being covered (and in excess of the recommended tip amount)

Food was fairly good and prices were reasonable. Beetroot starter was great but springbok shank was a bit lacking. Main issue though was ambience. We were seated on a strip of balcony amongst very loud groups drinking tequila shots. Good vibe if you are out with mates for a party. Otherwise ask to be seated inside the main restaurant.

My boyfriend and I visited The Moveable Feast about a week ago for a dinner date and we we’re absolutely blown away!!Our food was delicious! I ordered the calamari starter salad, which was a great size and extremely tasty. For my main I had the Parisian Gnocchi which was the best gnocchi I have ever ever tasted! I couldn’t fault it. And for dessert a traditional crepe suzette, which was delicious and perfect in size. The service and impeccable and we were constantly being checked on to see if we were happy.Friendly staff. Beautiful decor. Romantic and wonderful.Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I came for dinner last night. We were very impressed by the food.We sat on the balcony which has a beautiful view over signal hill. We started with some bloody mary oysters. It was the perfect start to our dinning experience, fresh and absolutely delicious. We then shared the escargot as starter. My girlfriend never tried it and loved it. For mains, we ordered the Parisian gnocchi and the vegan gnocchi! We were both super impressed by our meal but I must say that the vegan gnocchi takes the win.The service was attentive, discreet and nicely paced.Highly recommended!

This place is a must visit in Cape Town, Kloof street.Decor on point, the vibe on point and the food ON point!!!!Go at around 8, enjoy amazing french fusion food and gin on tap. Afterwards head o the bar area, live DJ and dancing until late at night. The food ranges between R110 to R180 but The Entertainer is applicable to use here so 2 for 1. =)

Id describe it as Elegant but not pretentious. The meat was excellent. I definitely recommend the Springbok. I took a chance on the Rice pudding but it was excellent. My family thought the crepe Suzette was the best they had ever tried but I wasnt as impressed. We tried the coliflower and while it was quite tasty it I doubt it would be enough an entire meal for one person. The waitstaff were excellent. Everyone who helped us were helpful and charming.Overall, I was very pleased with the venue, the food, and the staff. I would definitely recommend it to someone visiting from out of town.

Went to the Moveable Feast on a Friday. The food was pretty good, however service was shocking. We sat in the outside area with hardly any service for periods of 30 minutes or more. I had the beef tar tare which was tasty and then burger for mains both tasted great, the burgers condiments were slightly overdone. The hostess/manager (not sure her title) was incredible she gave a few complimentary items on the menu, which was justified considering the wait. She was the difference between us likely leaving or staying - hold onto to her!

A quirky French bistro above the Power and The Glory in Kloof - easier missed but stumble upon it and you won’t be sorry. With many unique seating areas for whatever your mood requires - near the busier bar, outside with views or around one of the quieter corners inside. We’ve eaten there twice already - one day and night time affair and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. The vegan and prawn gnocchi and watermelon and tomato salad were a few meals to note.

Beautiful interior and friendly staff. Its just a pleasure being there. Nice bar area, it does tend to get a bit busy there and you do wait a little bit for your drink, but it really doesnt matter. Definitely look forward to going here more often.

My partner and I went for a dinner at The Moveable Feast and did the full experience: starters, mains and dessert. For starters we had the calamari salad, for mains my partner had the Parisian Gnocchi (it was sensational! ) and I had the Daube de Springbok which was an experience all on its own.To finish things off we had the Crepe Suzette, which had a delicious alcoholic zest to it.Highly recommended.

What a feast- I hear myself say to my friend and daughter as I’m biting in to my divine Beetroot medley. Just the walk up the hidden stairs next to the infamous Power & The Glory gives you a feeling you’ve opened the doors to Narnia. The breathtaking decor with the open kitchen giving away delicious fumes of roasted cauliflower ( yes I am a vegetarian ). A fantastic experience, I might just do it again tonight. Total recomendation ! Also, they have an adjacent bar that sometimes does live shows - worth checking it out aswell!

I had supper here on a week night with a friend. Great atmosphere and decor. Prawn gnocchi was great, but small portion for the price (meal only had 6prawns☹). Steak fritas were bland and tough, sauce was good though. I will give the place a 2nd chance in future.
