Very nice spot in Constantia to relax and unwind after a long day. The food is delicious, especially when accompanied with a drink. I was pleasantly surprised that there was live music which made the atmosphere even better. The staff were all friendly and professional. Most of all the pricing was reasonable for what you got. I will definitely be back and bring more friends along with me next time.

I enjoyed a very nice lunch outing here. They had some good lunch specials which will please the majority of people. Its also nice to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. It is well worth a try. Initial service was a little slow but the restaurant was quite full on the day so I guess thats expected. Our food did arrive in record time which made up for the slow start.

Great place to relax and watch a big sports event. The Bay has good pizza and the waiters alwys serves you with a smile. I would definitely recommend The Bay for laid back pizza and beer.

First visit to this pace on a Friday with live music and a packed restaurant and bar area! Was a mistake not to book a table but we didnt think it would have been THAT busy, we were seated after about an hour right by the toilets, not so nice but beggars cant be choosers. The food arrived in a timely fashion after ordering BUT I wasnt amazed by it. The jalepeno poppers were nice and hot but the batter was very thick and not so great. The platter was huge and well priced, the pizza was a good size for a hungry person with extremely thin base, I have had better, the chicken wasnt great, quite chewy but was also quite affordable. This place obviously does something right as I have heard it is always quite busy in the evenings (weekends) and I would go back but I think more of a day time place to chill outside on one of the benches during summer!

The place was such a vibe. Live band was amazing. Lucky gave us great service and the manager was attentive. Cant wait to go back again. The staff is very friendly. I had a great experience.

Food is excellent, chicken strips are heavenly, their burgers are huge and are great, their calamari is the best! Tender, tasty, crispy! Venue is perfect, indoorsbor outdoors, field for kids to run freely or you could bring along your dog. Staff are lacking a little and dont check on patrons as often as they should

The pub fare is decent. Burgers, schnitzel and pizza especially. Steaks a bit thin-ish. Well priced.

Popped down for a bite to eat and a quick drink, only to be so disappointed by the quality of food. Had to ask for menus, received our food with wrong sauce and unfortunately the schnitzel was so over done it was stringy. Horrible to pay good money for such a terrible meal.

No-one at the door to recieve guests. No-one took our temp. We had to ask for where we are seated. We waited 24 minutes and no-one came to take our drinks order. Bathrooms are filthy. No handtowels to dry your hands after washing hands.

Great venue, looking out over the rugby field. Good selection of food and drink. A nice vibe. Sometimes they have live bands.

Food is decent, but covid precautions are almost non existent. They have a sign in register and sanitiser at the door, but that is where it ends. Philip (owner or manager, not sure) walks around with his mask on his chin (mouth and nose open), talking to guests, staff are pleasant but masks cover mouth only, noses open. Guests arrive with masks on, take them off when seated, so far correct, but then move around the restaurant without their masks, and staff say nothing. If they are this relaxed on the basic mask wearing what else are they relaxed about? If you are at risk or just concerned about covid, avoid this place for now.

Whilst on our Bowls Tournament in Cape Town for a week, we looked for places to have a quick dinner after a hard day of bowls. The Bay Sports Bar came highly recommended and we soon found out why... Food was amazing, locals were welcoming, we had a great evening!

Good value for money in terms of meal selection. Very kid friendly. Service delivery friendly but slow. Perfect for those looking to relax and have a cost effective experience. For those hungry and looking for quick service delivery, this place is not recommended.

Fun place on a Friday night with live music and a bit of a dance, but its quite loud. Casual place during the week for a quiet drink. Always busy when there is rugby on there and then the place is pumping. They also make food which is ok for simple pub food.

A great place to watch live rugby, have a beer and some food, or if there isnt any live rugby, you can watch it on several big screen TVs. A warm fireplace is on the go in the winter keeping the place toasty. Its kid friendly and is a fun place for them to have lunch or supper. Seating is available inside and out.

Fantastic family Restaurant and Sports bar. Great venue to watch sport on the TV or live rugby on the fields when The False Bay Rugby Club team is playing. Food selection is fantastic! Live music and other entertainment is always enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Arrived at 9h15 after the grape run, while they understandably only open at 10am they purposely made us wait 45 minutes before bringing some water. The manager had a terrible attitude, the waiter was completely lackluster and made us feel unwelcome.Requested the bill and moved to La Parada, service with a smile.I usually dont post bad reviews like this after a single visit however from arrival it was made clear that us being there was an inconvenience, can honestly say one of the worst experiences we have had.

I was here for a birthday party! Quite a nice venue and set up for a Saturday brunch - kids enjoyed it and had tons of space, the jumping castle was a hek of a treat!

Who owns this place? Do they actually know what is happening? No one answers the phone, tried to make a booking for last Friday eventually got in my car, drove over there and booked in person. Only reason I persisted was that it was a group of us and we enjoy the music of Wroxeter. The good on Friday was not great, ordered the meat platter, the steak was so tender but ruined by too much garlic which actually gave it a bitter taste so we left it, as did friends who also ordered it. Tried to book again this week for Friday because of the band, Bootleggers, but I really dont know why we are bothering. Sheena is really not interested, mispelt the surname then blames the loud music that she cannot hear. Don think we will bother again, pity because the music and atmosphere is really good but the service, which starts at Reception and food need some serious attention. Asked Sheena who the owner is - nobody! Really!

At one time the food that one received was good value for money. They changed their menu a while back and since then the food has become pricy and terrible. The last two times I visited I could not eat the food.
