What a great location!! With Beautiful sea views and tastefully decorated inside this Bossa gives a snug, cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and eager to give good service. As always, the best burgers in town and always great to go there for their burger special on a Monday. They have a great variety to choose from on their menu both food and drinks. Natasha gave us great service, was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Half portion snitzel and a delicious burger for half price on a Monday. Mega meal for R120. And the service was excellent. The venue is perfectly situated to see the sea and the whole of False Bay.

The food was fantastic, the menu extensive and the service 1st class. One suggestion to management is to perhaps install a sound absorbing ceiling or panels, since the concrete roof and tiled floor makes it hard to hear each other at your table when the place is busy. Otherwise, great place!

A great asset to Strand. Cosy atmosphere with beautiful decor set against the picturesque ocean and awesome sunsets. Because of Covid-19 regulations there are only a few tables that can be reserved and the restaurant is not running on full capacity. We waited in the line outside for about 40 minutes. Worth the wait. Managers were well organized with the waiting process. The waiters were friendly and effective. I was impressed with the food, especially the crumbed mushrooms. Well done to you. All the best for the future!

First time here and by a long way better than any I have been to. You can sit and look at the ocean or watch sport on the big screens There draught is served in a really big glass. Picture doesnt do it justice. Food was good and service very quick and pleasant. A very good place to eat. Guaranteed you will love it and be back again.

The view here is outstanding! Definitely the best thing about this Bossa... We sat near the kids play area, bad idea if you want to have a conversation. Rather sit far from the kids area if you dont have kids and just want to sit for a quiet meal. The chips were also not up to standard, we usually eat at another Bossa, and the chips there are amazing, these were mediocre. Id give it a 3 star if it werent for the view!

Wonderful tastful food. The sea slosh underneath the building. Making you feel very, very close to the sea. Really an experience, eating sea food, sitting almost in the sea, but still in a clasy restaurant. Loved it. Visited it quite a few times and took friends with. People must get to know about this restaurant, really Wonderful.

Very nicely revamped. Steak was excellent and service very good. And of course looking out over the sea is priceless.

The Monday burger special was worth every cent. Tried their salted caramel milkshake and was absolutely blown away. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly service and value for money, delicious meals with the added benefit of a great view.

Bossa Strand Pavilion is literally situated on the shore. For an experienceof having a cocktail, lunch or supper on the sea shore visit Bossa Strand Pavilion. They cater for a variety of foods and takeaways. The atmosphere is cool to the touch, but the waitrons are fairly friendly with service. The serve good cocktails but do not expect fine dining on the menu. Highly recommended just for a quick bite and a thirst quencher. Reservations not a must and secured parking limited. Not sure if this place is wheel chair friendly. It scores a 4 out of 10 for me.

Wow, a 180 degree sundowner seaview, as a starter! Excellent service by Zandele. She waa friendly, knew the menu and could make informative recommendations. She is an asset to Bossa. Their wine list offer a good selection, to cover all tastes and is well priced. I had a standard nachos and hubby a Chilli burger. Both were generous portions and tasteful. Our dessert was Irish coffee and Don Pedro. Both had a good taste of whiskey. Bossa, you rock! We will be back!

Wesley the manager is just absolutely on point! Always checking in and doing his rounds! The nachos are to die for, great portions and great venue. Being right on the water is just a great setting to enjoy a meal. Restaurant is always super clean and well maintained.

An absolutely stunning setting and venue with a relaxing atmosphere! Visited frequently during our week-long stay at the Strand Pavilion. Excellent service and food, and very reasonably priced. Also received many compliments from two sets of friends who joined us for lunch on my birthday. Excellent Covid protocols and social distancing in place. Well done to all staff and management. We’ll be back!

Actually a good place for drinks with friends. Theyre reasonably priced, with every day specials. Would have given 4 stars, however the 1 star got deducted from the pizza we ordered - the beef mince pizza (it had more crust than topping) but otherwise not too shabby. Ps. They dont have any chicken dishes on the menu.

Totally inflexible and unhelpful. I am not a difficult person but I just dont eat eggs. We went there for breakfast and there were only eggs on the menu. I asked the waitress if there was anything without eggs and she said I could only order off the menu. I noticed toasted sandwiches on the kids menu. I asked for cheese and tomato and was told I can only have cheese. So I ordered that. When the waitress brought the food she said we would not be allowed to order that again because we are adults. I will never go back there.

The problem with a place that have an established name, you are going to be weighed against the others, which are on a very high level. Ocean view does not make up for service and attentiveness. Food was good, not close to the standards we received in Somerset West and in Paarl. Trying to make a booking is a problem. They tell you over the phone they do not take bookings. We arrive for lunch, they ask us if we made a reservation. The opening and season rush will settle and service will determine the standard amount of customers. Good luck.

Amazing experience. The suggestion made by Edwin on the menu was absolutely amazing. My girlfriends favorite chill spot was McDees now we have to cancel that and do Bossa twice a month and I personally cant wait to come again.

Disappointed in the meal, just dont order steak as its as tough as old boots. The waitress was good, very accommodating and pleasant. A good atmosphere, so the steak order was a real disappointment to the evening.

Was nice, okay. I was just a bit disappointed with the amount of veggies on my plate. Apparently mine was dished from the same bowl as my partner. He ended up with all the good stuff. I got the green beans and marrows.

My favourite restaurant!!! 180 degree sea view. The food are excellent with great service. And even place for kiddies to play. Everything under one roof!!!

One of the most gorgeous venues in Strand, now improved with exceptional hospitality and good food. Great burgers, to be sure, but their pizzas are also quality.

All in all a nice family restaurant. I think this place would probably be nicer during the day or in summer, when the sea view can be enjoyed. Food and service was good. During pandemic its great because tables are far from each other, but it does somehow lack a bit of a vibe.

Great food, lovely view where the restaurant seems to be built right on top of the waves. Inside jungle gym for the children. No out-side seating available, which is a shame.

Absolutely stunning restaurant with the most awesome views on the ocean and surounding mountains. Diverse menue, delicious food and excellent customer service. A bit of an insignificant entrance through a small mall but an absolute jewel if you reach the end of the mall and go inside the restaurant, what a pleasant surprise. A must du when in Somerset West! Perfect place to downwind, dine and wine.

The location & layout is great!I was just a bit disappointed that they dont do sushi like the SSW branch, especially it being right at/on the ocean....The food is not as good as the SSW branch, so would suggest to up the quality a bit to be on the same standard/level as the other branches...By reading the comments - management needs to up their game also otherwise this branch is going to be a fail unfortunately

Amazing food and very well priced. Gets very busy from 5pm on a Saturday so go earlier if youre looking for a relaxed meal. Great views. Has a play area for kids with booth seating for adults close by. You can watch your kids on a big screen TV that records the play area.

Im not here to knock this place, and dont usually give a bad review. So I hope you use this to improve your service and see it as a stepping stone which might help that the next table of 6s dinner date doesnt get ruined. I wish the fact that the venues perfection could gain you another star, but when a manager makes inappropriate condescending remarks to his patrons who complain about an inexperienced staff member not able to assist us with our order, or keep up with our orders then I guess it deserves only 1 star. Every person at my table was shocked, but only voiced their opinions after leaving the establishment as to the manner in which the manager handled the situation. Good luck, and I hope Bossa can identify, and root out their staff issues for all to enjoy the good food, views, and have a pleasant overall experience, rather than a dull and dreary over shadowed unpleasant night out.

Great new Bossa! Wonderfull view and the food is exactly what you expect from the chain, tasty and great portions. Staff still finding their feet in the new venue, but all in all great experience.

The food isnt that great. Nor are the managers who are overworking their waiters! Especially Rene who think the place belongs to her. Always rude never a smile on her face. Would rather go to spur. Stick to burgers and steak the rest doesnt taste that good

Bad service!- Booked a week in advance for the 8th of June - birthday dinner with boyfriend and myself- Arrived an hour early to have a cocktail in the bar and left waiting at the door as manager walked off to help someone else- after 10min we signed ourselves in and went through to the bar- Bar staff fantastic and made inside waiters aware we were there for our 7PM booking- Once ready to dine we were again ignored at the front but eventually lead to our table (19) which was occupied by other guests so we were seated at a different table only to be acknowledged by waiter 20 min later who upon arriving did not greet us or bring us drinks for another 15 min - by this point very upset.- After waiting another 40 min for food we decided to move to eat our dinner with the original bar waiter who was very friendly and helpful.We love to dine out and hate to complain as we are understanding- The food was great but being ignored and having this experience made us feel unwelcome as paying customers in the restaurant.We hope to have a better experience next time!

Worst host/manager Ive ever come across. Food was great, our waitresses was excellent however the host or manager that seated us was incredibly rude. He made everyone at the table uncomfortable and said he can refuse us service all because we made a joke about a window seat. Pathetic.

He yelled at us and couldnt find solutions to accommodate us. We just paid for our drinks and went to the somerset west branch. Wouldnt recommend anybody to go to this branch. Absolutely disgusting.

Food is always nice but takes way to long to reach the table

Food and views was great. Service was friendly and but a little slow. We were quite a bit table though. Definitely go there for Sundowners as you can see the sea from almost all angles of the restaurant. Suggest you make a booking if you want a table at the window.
