Im sure its great for what its meant for, but dont expect to go there for a quick meal on a Saturday, despite their quite varied menu and good prices. We got there when they opened at 11, ordered almost immediately but waited almost 2 hours for food. When it arrived, it was really good - but cold. Even the coffees took half an hour... Rather go for drinks and the vibe.

The food at Bok Lounge is fantastic!! Unbeatable prices & delicious. The bar might not be everyones vibe, but definitely give their food a shot. Their pork ribs are by far the best you can get in the area!

Food was nice BUT we waited toooooo longggggg for our food. We ordered Spare Ribs special but the onions was COLD and the RIB was also not so warm the only item which was warm was the Chips.

Ordered food from them. Inconsistent portion size and sloppy, messy spilled rubbish upon delivery. Food packets laid on its side and everything was a soggy mess. No nachos on one burger and a pittyfull bit of onion rings with the other burger. One burger had rubber like mushrooms on. Not the second nor third time this happened. Not supporting them again.

Ordered food once and it was the best we have had...we ordered crunch chicken burger today again, my wives chicken patty looks like it has been eaten half, the lettuce is brown and old, 4 very small pieces of feta. My burger had only one piece of feta, looks like a half eaten chicken burger, brown old lettuce.We asked today to leave the onion and give more chips, previously they did but now we only received not even a handfull of chip.So expensive and the quality has declined.Rather order from someplace else next time

I came hear to have a drink and something to eat after work only to be ignored by the bar staff. No tempreture was even taken by the door and this is also very concerning as they are not following the correct protocol.

I very nice place, however, the dance floor is almost bigger than the bar section.Felt a bit crowded not a lot of space to move around. Beyond that, nice services, secure parking in a nice area. Music was good, service was great and even fairly priced with their drinks. Even got invited to karaoke...Worth a visit...

Willem the barman was great. His service and the way he made the cocktails was great. Prices are not bad at all. I will go back to bok lounge anytime! Thanks guys keep up the good work.

I really wanted to support our local places.I ordered from them for the first time and i am disgusted with Food.My burger bun is old and moldy the cheese is sooo old and my chicken wings taste like it was made 3 months ago.i will never order from them again.

I am usually not someone that complains about food because I am gratefull that I do have. However, tonight was my first time ordering from Bok Lounge.Disappointed is not the word to describe my order which was delivered by Mr. Delivery.R199 for Ribs, Chips and Onion rings, which by the way had burnt pieces inand was dry. I ordered a Pizza of R110, which I did not even receive. My daughter had to eat a sandwich as her food the pizza was not delivered.My question is, who verifiesthe order that leaves the Pub is actually correct.If this was the service I received as a first time customer, I will never recommend this place to anyone.Very dissatisfied previous customer.

Good cocktails, nice atmosphere. The bartenders were pretty friendly. Decent but odd choice of music and decent pizza. Would be nice if they just extended the smoking section to the whole building as it seems everyone just gather in the smoking section anyway leaving the dance floor and its seating empty.

My friend had her 22nd birthday here and had a private event area. Absolute great service from the employees. They are super friendly. Great night and great service. Their drinks are pretty cheap and affordable too. They have specials as well. 👍

This is a fantastically unpretentious bar and dancing area with some kind of affiliation with Bok Radio - very Afrikaans. We went on a Thursday and it was their karaoke night. They also have an amazing burger special (probably the cheapest in Cape Town!) for R30.00 (May 2019). With the burger comes onion rings and a reasonable portion of chips. The drinks are also reasonably priced. We had a fantastic time. Great place to drink and socialise with friends.

I visit here with my girl friends quite often. I choose them every time as I feel safe. The barmen are really friendly and te food is awesome. Cocktail specials on Friday afternoons always worth it.

Karaoke night was festive and fun. Interesting mix of people with a friendly vibe. Service is friendly, if a bit slow at times. Prices are good. Good parking. 2nd visit they were out of Castle free but went out and got some for me. Really impressed!!

First time.Felt out of place but what can you expect if you just moved into the area. Music was different but eventually there was some R&B. Was not bad to chill at. Waiter was very friendly.

Fun place. Great for smokers not so great for everyone else as people smoke everywhere.

Been here couple of times, about 5x. Hamburger specials are good. Last experience brought a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. Booked a table for 6, but when we got there, the tables were pushed in a corner, due to the staffs more favourite persons (I guess). Even after my complaints to the staff, nothing was done, staff was ignorant about it.To my opinion, nice place to hang out IF you are a regular.

Always a really good time. We never have any trouble, the bar staff is fast and at times very entertaining. Karaoke 3 times a week with 2 different DJs so a person can choose their flavour of sound. We travel about 40km to Bok Lounge and its worth it every time.

Its ok here, not great. Music gets very loud after a while. People are friendly and drinks are served quickly compared to other places, but overall experience is average.

Well i was on this hype of bok lounge and the name sounds so cool when we got there itwas more like a pub and a small one too they have so much space for improvement like putting out nice couches etc givving it a more lounge feeling like the name says bok LOUNGE
