My Husband and I went to the Branch near Old Mutual on the 30/09/2021 to simply get a new card. Which I desperately needed as I have a planned admission on Sunday the 3rd, I am heavily pregnant and limping due to a procedure I had done in Dec. We then went straight to the door and the gentle man which was standing there (not to mention his name) asked us to stand a bit as he went to assist someone else on the statements machine (well understood by us) there were two lines outside which were allocated for people going in the branch one for people who were going inside and the other for statement printouts. Now when the gentle man comes back he asked us not to stand at the door (same guy who asked if we could wait a bit) my husband asked him politely if maybe I can do a card reprint and not stand on the long queue since I am heavily pregnant guess what his response was .... HE THINKS THEY NO LONGER DO SUCH EXCEPTIONS BECAUSE IT CAUSE CONFLIT AMONG CUSTOMERS he did not even bother to go and ask for us nothing and told us to go and stand on the long queue. We told him its fine we will go to another Capitec branch in Prominade he did not even care... we then went there the line was not a quarter of the one in Khayelitsha; however I was taken out of the line and assisted with efficiency. I feel like the level of assistance and accomofation should be equal one does not need to drive to another branch in order for them to get a service which they deserve.
