Olympia bakery is a dream! The breads, tarts, and coffee are baked and brewed freshly on the spot.Prices are fairly affordable with a wide variety of choices. We had a lemon poppy small loaf and a peach danish with two coffees. Prices for tarts and baked goods range between R25-R45.Visitors can either dine in at the Olympia bakery cafe or grab take away at the back entrance. It seemed like the dine in was pretty busy, so, if you wanna walk. Grab a coffee and fresh treat and go eat it on the beach..

Breads and pastries are always fresh and very tasty. Coffee is great. Service is good.

Visited the little deli on the side and ordered a coffee and some pasties. Enjoyed sitting on the little benches outside next to parking lot but under the trees. Its quiet a popular stop as the rapidly moving queues would attest. I love this unassuming stop and often come to this deli.

Best bread. The pecan pie is more than delicious. And then theres the espresso machine!

Quaint artisanal bakery, with authentic, home baked feel. A confectionery range, pasteries, breads and savoury treats make this place very inviting. They own the coolest old world coffee machine I have ever seen and brew up a range if fantastic coffees on demand. They share the kitchen with the Olympia Cafe next door, which is another fantastic spot for a bite. Everything looks fresh, tasty and easy to eat. The staff are welcoming, friendly, attentive and appear to enjoy what they do.

Kalk Bay has some good breakfast venues along the main street. Just off the main street is this unassuming bakery. What a wonderful find, it seems to be well supported by the locals who know their coffee, and avoided by those who need to be seen at the trendy establishments on the main road. The coffee is good and it is one of the few places in South Africa where you can ask for a flat white without getting a blank stare that makes you worry that your request is being seen as racial commentary. The pastries are fresh and amazing, you will be spoilt for choice, The staff are friendly and love a chat, The coffee machine is something to be seen, Made for them and a one of a kind. Olympia may just have the best baked goods available. You can tell that quality ingredients are used. Their croissants and beautifully buttery and their bread is out of this world. Great coffee and a wonderful vibe too.

Been going to Olympia almost every weekend early morning for coffee and a nice pastry. Today 19 January 2020, what a terrible cup of coffee. Ended up dumping it due to terrible sour after taste. Pastry was good as always but coffee put a damper on the morning outing

Nice little bakery which we continued to visit while in Kalk Bay. Only critique. The ciabatta bread with olives did not taste like olives at all.

We have only been here (for many years) for breakfasts, and coffee with pastries,and coffee.All the reports we have seen regarding lunch and dinner have been very complementary.Lately, when the weather is good, we have taken to getting a takeout coffee and pastry, and heading across the road to sit on the rocks alongside the harbour.July to October is whale season in False Bay, so coffee the rocks is really special.

Everything in the bakery looks delicious that it is hard to decide what to eat but whatever you pick should be accompanied by a great cup of coffee

Not a huge range of baked good but what they sell is just perfect in every way way. Its all fresh and tasty and the vibe in the bakery is amazing. They also serve great coffee.My favorite is their croissants with cheese and ham or spinach inside.
