Amazing store. Absolutely beautiful inside. Classy and lovely experience. Great selection of food. Beautiful chocolate and coffee bar as you enter the store. Also has an amazing sushi bar too. Also has in house separate bottle store. Lovely lovely lovely store. The sushi is amazing and well priced too.

Left a packet in our trolley by the entrance to the centre and came back to fetch it about 30 mins later. Bag was where I left and the security guards were on the radio looking at security footage to track down the owner. Awesome service.

I believe it was the manager. Adrian, went completely out of his way to help us by getting sesame seeds from the deli because they were out in the rest of the store. We had even said we didn’t need them and he caught us just as we were leaving the store. So helpful and thoughtful! Very grateful!

Convenient underground parking with ample lifts. Not too busy.

Doesnt feel like a regular Checkers, so much more classy and bigger than most. This Checkers also has a sushi kitchen, coffee and ready-made food area with a seating area for you to enjoy the food and beverages. You actually enjoy shopping and dont mind taking your time when shopping here.

The whole experience is great. Oh wait. No. the tills. The tills suck.l! I hate the old school fend-for-yourself styles of queues. I wish they would have adopted the single queue system that has been proven over and over to be more efficient and just nicer for customers.

New Years Day 2020. Wow!!! It was a pleasure to walk into such a beautiful neat store. We just popped in to get some paninis and coffee today. The presentation at the various food stations is amazing... so lovely to look at. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious. Excellent coffee...with special 2020 touch. Staff were all friendly and efficient.

The Store layout and Service levels are great, however the quality of bakery items very poor. We bought ginger bread man biscuits and choc chip cookies which were absolutely terrible - very poor quality. Shoppers supporting this checkers expect better quality and willing to pay more. Will still be coming back but Checkers needs to up their game in bakery department.

I believe this is the flagship Checkers in WC if not South Africa. Ample parking space for the center, great style and multiple choices for foods, home goods, and wine (Level 3 restrictions and lower pending, of course).Never struggled with queues, in and out within 20 minutes or less.*this is not a large shop, doesnt need to be.

A very big Checkers with a variety of departments including sushi and a branch of Kauai inside Checkers. This store is clean and tidy. Congratulations to the staff and managers. Im impressed.

What an amazing experience! Unlike any Checkers I have ever visited. Their Sushi is fresh and prepared while you wait, or there is a refrigerator with stuff as well. Beautiful chocolate treats, fresh baked goods, clean and amazing butcher counter and coffee. This store even sells SMEG applicances. We had some of the dry aged T bones from here, was some of the tastiest meats we ever had. Well done Checkers, only wish we had these stores in Gauteng. Please, please, please upgrade the Mall of the South or Newmarket stores to something like this, very soon.

Niche mall that serves an upper class clientele. Well thought though and the main tenants have made an extra effort given their market on Constantia.You can expect sharp service though it does attract the crowds

Firstly, that roundabout at the entrance to Checkers...who the heckle designed that? Or maybe its just me! If you in the wrong lane..go around again. I have been here a few times now and I still have not used the underground parking.This Checkers has all the bells and whistles of a fancy establishment. Its super spacious with lovely wide aisles and has demarcated areas for different produce (as all shops do, I guess), but this just looks and feels fancier. I guess its more upmarket because its in the Constantia area. I have no complaints about the store really...except the store is only as good as its staff. Lets just say they brought the whole shopping experience to a grinding halt...I left my purchase and went to Checkers Meadowridge.

Great place to shop, a one stop month end shop. Throw in Sushi and a quick tart you have a winning combination. Checkers has come far, getting better and better. Would love to see this setup in our communities. None the less I loved the New York Cheesecake and all the bakery goodies and even some pies from Houw Hoek farm.

Best Checkers there is. Modern, well set out, large, well stocked & smart. Includes smaller stores like a coffee shop & I think a bakery. Parking nearby.

Mask , distance, hand sanitizing is compulsory. I found all staff professional and friendly. Facility is fresh and clean. Ready meals available, bakery, sushi also made on site. Fresh vegetables and fruit. We got all our grocery shopping, and toiletries. And the smart shoppers card, we got discount on specials as advertised. The store caters for the Mosley shoppers as well. Parking for disabled shoppers. Wheelchair friendly. Lifts near entrance ... convenient for all shoppers.

Love this Checkers so much, the staff are friendly and helpful, their shelves are always full stocked and produce, meat and baked goods are always fresh and well priced, I will only do my grocery shopping here from now onward.

An awesome shopping experience mostly, except at the fish department where the service was shoddy to say the least. Needs improvement.Otherwise the service in all other sectors of the store was very good.

Space and more space. Love the fact that you can always get parking . A plus you di today for parking. All the service staff who collect the trolleys, are very polite. Probably the nicest Checkers in SA. Ample free underground parking is great for the rainy season. Not a large mall; but thats part of the attraction, as it is always calm and no crowds.

The flow of the store feels off.Staff packing makes you feel as though you are in the way while shopping.There was no little seedling kits and no signs saying that there is none.I will not likely shop here again

Massive new Checkers. Well stocked. Huge variety of food and products. Well staffed and plenty of different types of deli counters.

I find at this store in particular and on several occasions, Milk & meat products expire before their sell by date. I returned goods before, after lately Ive chosen a different store to shop completely.

The shop itself is amazing however the platters we ordered was so dissapointing. I physically went into the store on a Tuesday to order platters for the Sunday and was assured everything will be in order. When I arrived to collect I got told there wasnt an order for me, am I sure I placed an order and if so with who. In the end I had to to do with a make do of what they could put together and it was highly dissapointing. The food was dry and tasteless and looked very sad on the table. I wouldnt order platters there again. I gave 2 stars as the rest of the store and variety is on point.

Lovely store incorporating lots of little counters with different deli counters.

Ok but they could not satisfy my urgent braai needs with anything i wanted. I know bokke played on saturday which probably was the reason but their competition just up the road had everything i wanted. So my first choice of experience was not realised and had to settle for my second option which more than satisfied me

Kauai is always clean and staff are very helpful. The store itself is very neat and tidy. Staff are always willing to help and put good Covid protocols into place. Products are always well stocked and made available. Fully enjoy doing my shopping here.

This is a state of the art Checkers store.The specialty counters eg the cheese section, the butchery, the deli and bakery are most impressive.Although this store is busy-busy, the architectural design allows for easy safe movement.

Most pleasant place to buy your groceries. Very clean, usually primed with stock and it never really gets too busy. Stringent Covid 19 practices in place too. I wont go to any other Checkers.

Very nice centre, clean and modern. However is most inept checkers management youll ever come across. On 5 occasions now have had tills freeze, specials not go off, incorrect prices and or Missing managers. Its truly pathetic. Currently writing this aftwr have till freeze again and now we wait for the missing managers again.

Love the space in the isles it just makes shopping here a pleasure. The different sweet cakes as you step into the store also contribute.

This is a new place for me. It has wide aisles making guiding a trolley quite easy. Its a bright well lit shop. It has a wide variety of product, well displayed. A good shopping experience.

Usually love my experience with friendly Staff and clean facilities but tonight I got helped by Monique a cashier, very unfriendly didnt greet, took 10 mins to pack the bags and just worjed very slowly, she even dropped a pack of my biscuits which are now probably broken and had no care in the world, not the slightest apology. im usually very sympethetic to the cashiers because I Know they work hard and are on their feet the whole day but they still happy and smiling. Very dissapointed tonight.

Honestly, its a really nice upmarket supermarket.. Personally, it just doesnt give me that atmosphere that makes me want to return. If youre into spaces where only a few would be acknowledged, then this is for you.

Best Checkers in the South. Clean store, prompt and helpful service, quality food at good prices. Parking underground is free.

Great Checkers but the vegan stuff could be expanded.

Good selection, spacious, easthetically pleasing, helpful staff, which is unusual for Checkers (the staffer at the entrance saw me looking for a basket and took the initiative to help before I asked. That impressed me.) The one thing I find distasteful about the place is the excessive paving and big boulder arrangements, and lack of trees. Those spaces are now dead when they could have been reclaimed for a bit of Fynbos. Instead its a touch of tacky.
