Im highly disappointed in the call center. My clutch cable snapped this morning and I called them in their opening hour to order my part and was told I would have it before closing, but it hasnt arrived like promised. This is highly unprofessional and annoying. The call center sucks.. I wish I got the operators name..this is not cool, I have to cancel my weekend plans due to my car sitting without a clutch cable.

Worst place to call no and i mean zero phone ethic none existing whatsoever. They really need ro address this. So i drive there and they dont have any in stock.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO CALL THEM. instore it looks like you have to of some looks toe be greeted and served with respect. Big no. Store is clean and nicel.

If you are going to claim to be the golden standard in supplying Volkswagen parts, you should have more options. Fuel line Connectors, switches etc. In actual fact, all components should be available. I had to go to a scrapyard for a fuel line....

Asked for R5 discount on a 5 liter oil and the guy said he could not because no one makes any profit selling motor oil. I got to Midas 5min after this and the same oil was R40 cheaper. Either GW doesnt know how to make that profit or he lied to me. No more GW Somerset West for me thanks.Everytime I ask discount at Johnnys Midas I either got a decent discount or an attempt was made to shave off the little that was possible.

Wasnt impressed my this place, I spoke to a guy behind the counter which wasnt very helpful as he couldnt understand how to read a vin number, needed spares and wanted to know if they had them in store and wanted a quote, prefer the one in Durbanville, much more friendly and helpful

No star. I boughtt a steering pump which was faulty and returned it some time later after buying another new one from them. The 1st one came back and belongs to a VW Kombi and not VW Polo as i have. They now claim i gave them a wrong p/steering punp that they had sent for testing. Some one at Goldwagen or their workshop has changed the item. I not happy at all as this is my 2nd trip to them to enquire about this. I stay about 55 km from Strand. If this is how they do business. I will not use them again
