I called the store and was helped with prices and parts availability. Went to the store and then bought the parts, made it clear to Alex who assisted me that a set of the particular parts i needed was R410 when i phoned and not R460 as he mentioned. He then went on to say that was impossible as the parts is on special and that was the price.Fast forward to Sunday afternoon, my mechanic tried to fit the parts only to realise i was given the incorrect parts and had to leave the old parts back in the car.On Monday afternoon i had to trek 40kms again to get the correct parts. This was a huge inconvenience for me especially when the sales person jokes that i could now buy me some lunch with the R50 refund i got and it was a mistake slip of the finger. This really infuriated me as I repeatedly asked him on purchasing the parts if this was the correct parts. Now i had to spend extra fuel to get the parts replaced as well as pay my mechanic again to refit the correct parts after already paying for it once.Your sales guys must really try and focus on the customer they have infront of them instead of entertaining passer by customers asking for their help.

Perfect for Mercedes parts

I had purchased front break pads from them in March 2019. Towards end of December 2019, the one side of the pad just came off leaving only the base of the pad grinding against the disc. The rest of the pads still had more than 3/4 left on it. I contacted Goldenwagen and was told I must bring it in to have it exchanged. I queried who will pay for the damaged disc and labour. I was told its for my own cost. They will replace the pads.I returned the faulty pads. I had to fill in a form, then I had to purchase a new set of pads being told that the pads will be sent to head Office and that they are closed so Ill need to wait till they open and IF they find the product faulty, theyll pass a credit.One of the sales people there decided to play investigator and proceeded to say that the pad wore away even though the other pads were almost new. If this is what Im to look forward to, then Im screwed.Im forced to change both my discs even though they still have thousands of kilometers left, but because with the new pads, needs to be skimmed, itll take the disc to the minimum thickness at which point it needs to be replaced.So because of a faulty brake pad ie SURE brake, I have to fork out a whole lot of money as well as dodgy return policy they wasnt conveyed properly. Very disappointed so far.The sales guy that assisted me was a star hence 2 star rating and not 1. Will update later when this gets resolved.
