I must admit the view is amazing here!! A great location to eat, drink and people watch. Usually a live DJ on the weekends. Great time to be had here. The food is extremely good and very reasonably priced as well.Their biggest asset is their personnel! Everyone there was PERFECT! The waiters, waitresses, cooks, etc... I would come back just because of them alone because a Hard Rock is nothing without their employees! They deserve all of the credit to the success of this location.

Wow, what a legendary restaurant in my favourite spot of Cape Town!!Camps bay is know for its amazing ocean view restaurants , and Hard Rock Cafe definitely classifies as one of them.This restaurant is on another level, with its rock - and - roll vibe. You will leave feeling like a popstar, and also very full as their food is devine!!!I recommend their burgers and their fries are delicious too.The staff were all so welcoming and excited to serve us. It was amazing hospitality!

Ive been to many HRCs in the world. This is small(er) in size but incredible in all the rest. Your classic rock decoration coupled with great food and local wine at a premium location around Cape Town (nr 3 beach in the world - Camps Bay) where I went attracted by an online article and found this by mere chance. Had to go there for dinner even outside of our plans for the day.Oh, and bought a great t-shirt!

I had a wonderful time. The staff is extermely attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was lovely and the views are stunning. Im definitely going back and highly recommend the Hard Rock Cafe.

My Partner who was there for alcohol he loved it....My son and I was there for ice cream1. they gave us soup spoons that dont fit in the ice cream cup 🤦🏽‍♀️2. I wanted chocolate sauce, they put in a drop of ice cream sauce as if they had gone to ask for it from next door.3. When paying my son asks for a mint and the waitress tells us we didnt spend enough money to get a mint 🤦🏽‍♀️Besides that the music and the atmosphere was amazing.

It is OK. I wish the hardrock from the V&A waterfront was still there. The food was good and no complaints there. The only part that was dissapointing for me is it was not like the other hard rock cafes in different counties where i have been. This feels more like you normal restaurant and could have been any name. Just did not feel like a hard rock cafe

We had our H.O.G. Cape Town Chapter year-end function on the top floor. The look out over the beach and beach road was perfect as well as the volume balance of music. Customer service was excellent, all COVID protocols were observed by establishment and staff. Well worth another visit.

While the vegetarian burger was delicious the music was too loud. They also struggled to handle a big group and forgot to bring the one order.

My visit was at lunch time. Food was average. Customer service was less than friendly. And the waitress smelled like she had a few drinks. Its as though they choose who they want to be polite and friendly to. The view was fantastic.

They have nice decor of different artist memorabilia. Awesome cocktail list. They did not have some of the shooters available on the list.The music was a bit too loud to have a general conversation, but the service was good and the vibe was good.

My reason for 2 star rating is due to the lower standard compared to other hard rock cafés. My order was messed up 3 times... by the third I just accepted my fate. The music does not suit the atmosphere at all (who plays afro-house in a hard rock Cafe?) In the end food was indeed good, atleast. However, the burger was average.

Food was amazing, and wait staff was very friendly and informed about the menu and offerings.We arrived as the kitchen was closing and the staff immediately requested the kitchen to remain open until we placed our order - very accommodating.Drinks were delicious.Prices are what you would expect to pay in the area, but reasonable for the alcoholic drinks.Quite a selection of memorabilia to choose from for the “tourists”.

To Me the hard rock Cafe is about nostalgia, Rock in other words, the music was new techno type and extremely loud , definitely not creating an atmosphere...The food was voted by our group = Burgers 6/10 all that was great was the Nachos, They were fresh , light and crispy unlike 99% of the other establishments i have been to, i would come back just for that, My Fajitas were burnt on the steel hot plate presented on, no flavour in the additional items to create a memorable experience, really a let down to how i remembered Hard rock cafe was, maybe they are appealing to the young demographic .........i suppose.

Exactly what youd expect from a HardRock café. Food is delicious and fairly priced.When compared to the unique restaurants in this area, Hard Rock café becomes a novelty franchise. Although the waiters are excellent and the food is great. On the promenade, in Camps Bay - Id suggest dining at another restaurant on the road to get the full Cape Town/Camos Bay experience.

Impeccable service, first time here and just absolutely blown away. The 2 for 1 Burger special was such a good deal and delicious. The staffs attention to detail is hard to come by these days. Very impressed, will definitely be returning.

Fantastic ambiance, they have artist instruments up and have DJs performing live Saturdays the setting is great. I mean who wouldnt like an amazing view of the beach while sipping on drinks over a chat and good music

Unfortunately it is one of the worst Hard Rock I visited. Dont get me wrong, the food is ok and the lady who attended to our table was very sweet and charismatic. The downside point is the shop. We couldnt find the Mojito glass to buy (which I bought in every single HR Ive been to). Besides, there is no deal such as buy a glass and get the drink this is just insane. All Hard Rocks do that 😢 the drink is already pricey (more than 80R) and the glass costs 260R. Just not fair.Again, Im still a fan of the Hard Rock, but I wont be coming back to this one. :)

A huge huge disappointment. The egg and bacon bun, was exactly that two strips of bacon and one egg, exceptionally dry. One would think for that price lettuce and tomatoes maybe as a garnish would have been nice. The food was just so boring, no effort, no imagination, just sad. Service was slow considering there were only two tables. Just so poor :-( I should have take a pic, guess I was too embarrassed for what my hard earned money was paying for. not even a star

The mood is set with the look and the rock music playing in the back ground. Seeing the guitars on the walls and other musical instruments give you the feeling of the Hard Rock Cafe. Staff are professional and friendly. The food on the other hand was very plain as you will see on the fotos. The drinks was ok because I am not a drinker for me it tasted ok. Parking very few.

Same menu and standard that you will find accross the world. It is situated in the main road Lower Kloof Road. It has a view over the ocean. It has a great holiday/beach bar feel to it.

I visited abt 20 different Hard Rock Cafes. At Cape Town cafe not so big, rock shop also very small. Waiters and cashier are very relaxed, almost lazy. What is unic - magnificent view on Camps Bay beach.

For those that does not want to drink, indulge in the cookies and cream milkshake. I expected the normal oreos but thank God it was not 😍😍😍😍

Well we had salads with salmon.I must say,, there was nothing too it.Only lettuce with salad seasoning with a slice of salmon.I spoke to the people In charge to mabe add some colour to it.

I wasnt impressed by the food. I had the Whiskey Bacon Jam sliders - they were dry and the beef patty had a lot of hard gritty pieces that I couldnt eat. No interesting flavour of whiskey and it could have been a lot more saucy. The service however was excellent and attentive, but for the prices Id rather get a burger somewhere else.

The burger was delicious but the roll was stale. Beautiful view.Wouldnt recommend if youre a wine drinker though. Their wine list is limited to 3 items and their food is too American for my taste.

The venue is smaller than most Hard Rock Cafes, however the location is great, looking over the beach with the mountains as the backdrop.The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making us beverages not on the menu. The food was very good, with great quality ingredients and was made relatively quickly. I would recommend a visit to this Hard Rock Cafe 😊

Its nice but could be better. Ive been to 8 HRcafes, this was the worst. So thats probably of the worst in the world, they dont get anything right. Staff are just bbe staff not rock enthusiasts, the place should be called soft pop cafe. I asked for music suggestion to my surprise they said sure they brought a tablet three times back and forth didnt have radiohead, kings of Leon or incubus, so not a rock cage. Its become just family dining and over priced at that, at least have fresh bread not unfrozen, we can tell. Staff make a big difference this cafe its just waiters they dont know or care about rock music. Its a con restaurant just using the label and none of the memorabilia is exciting, its not worth the visit. At least we still got spur lol

We as Tourist guides supported this establishment BUT now when we call on their support they abandon us!!Not favours BUT what is due..I will strongly advise my colleagues and friends and when tourism picks up not to support this place!

Most uninspired, dull, tasteless cocktail Ive ever had. @R95 a cocktail you would expect some quality and imagination. Looked around at other tables to see if maybe it was just my choice, however all cocktails looked basic, with just a slice of lemon to garnish. Mustve been the first time we said only one drink and actually meant it.Atleast the view and service was good.

I’ve been to a couple of Hard Rock Cafe’s including overseas...so when some friends visited over the festive season, it had to be on the list! First time trying the one in Camps Bay, and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, amazing chocolate brownie, as we only had drinks and some dessert. Waitress was a bit scarce to my taste, had to look and wait for her for some time mor than once. Prices are a bit too inflated if compared to similiar establishments in Cape Town, or even Camps Bay...so I’d suggest going only AFTER you have your monthly salary. Other than that, nice experience, will come back and see if the food is on par with Sandton and Menlyn in Pretoria too...

I enjoyed the burgers. Very fresh patties. Great onion rings and my friend more than enjoyed her jalepeno. The burgers are well priced but the drink pricing leaves much to be desired. Beautiful view. I would definitely recommend sitting on the top floor. Not much in the range of merchandise but Im sure we will get there soon. The staff was excellent but I wouldve liked to see a larger variety in condiments. I mean can anything compare to Hudsons hot sauce? All in all I would give the hard Rock cafe a visit but I would probably never order a drink there especially because I know a Frankies diner milkshake isnt far away. The hard rock cafes fries were also on the verge of being underdone but that wasnt a deal breaker.

The food and relics was amazing. However the music playing was way to loud. To much bass the remixes of classic songs doesnt fit with the theme and reputation of the Hard Rock Cafe. How ever the staff made up for it with excellent service and amazing attitudes.
