Beautiful located on a dam! If you like the quietness and solitude, this is the perfect place to go! Make sure you have spare tyres though! 😉

Brilliant getaway from the city. Enjoy the quiet star filled nights and in a lovely cottage with fantastic views. Great for canoeing and birding, or just relaxing on the stoep.

Absolutely beautiful area and a great view of the river. The owners Nicolette and Francois are great people and their dogs are too. The furniture could use some upgrading and the shower could too, however the everything else is perfect. There is a wifi connection for guests, which is a huge help as there is no signal. There is also a kayak available for guests.

Rustic and beautiful - this place was very special. There are small things that could be improved upon like signage etc which would make for better navigation to the spot but overall it was such an AMAZING experience staying there. Really fell in love with the Karoo after staying at Karmedo.

If your about remote or need some peace of mind from the city this is a perfect place to come to loved staying here,the hosts are friendly and helpfull really great atmosphere if you like to do birding or the canoeing on the dam with some of the most beautiful sunsets what I like is that theres solar panels and gas for using which makes living bit more primitive but who needs power when you have beautiful surroundings like here 5/5 from me thanx for a lovely stay see you guys soon :)
