The dry wors and biltong was top notch. The staff were friendly and the owner was there in person. This is a well run butchery.

Nice butchery but the meet was not cut nice, looks like it was hacked into pieces. The shelves were very empty on payday and Im not very impressed with todays experience.

The security at the entrance is giving the oxtripe and sheep tripe to his friends. If you are not known by the security then forget it, you will get nothing.

Friendly staff and fresh meat all the time

Really disappointed in the way things have gone since the new management have taken over. Before, the staff were very very willing to cut any meat fresh from the fridges. The meat, even if it was from the shelf, was consistently tasty and clean and tender. Now, the lamb doesnt even taste like lamb, the beef is tougher than I ever recall it being and the staff are unwilling to cut fresh cuts or even cut lamb chops that we want. If its not on the shelf, too bad. Previously, we had our boerewors made specially because my husband has an allergy to some of the spices in the pre-made wors, now the staff are not willing to specially make anything. I keep hoping things will improve but after 4 times where Ive bough a big order of meat, Im just not interested in going back. It is such a pity because it is so hard to find a decent butchery

The lady I spoke to was very impatient and it felt like she had no to little time to talk to me. I was inquiring on different prices to perhaps buy from them. I am not sure if I caught her on a bad day because all the comments say they have friendly staff. From my experience I will not buy from them.

It was very pleasant to do business with Gert and Antoinette Opperman and their staff like Wimpie. Everything was very neat and the biltong, sausage, salami, chops etc were beautifully cut, made and packaged.
