Well hows that blast from the past! Heres a roadhouse that still plays rock n roll music and serves good ol fashioned roadhouse fare. The food was great, the prices are very acceptable and the service was friendly and adequate. Mini skirt girls on roller skates/blades would have been more in line with the music being played and would probably pull a bigger client base. Apparently a Sunday carvey is served in the sit down restaurant upstairs. Nevertheless, I will certainly be back.

It was awsome i will go back any day ... i went up with the stares to the sit down section and it was so nice for the kids to play on the slides they have there and all indoors where u have eyes on children pernanetly i will definetly higly recomend this place and also they have such a nice 60s theme there

One of the few roadhouse diners that has a real retro feel to it. Upstairs is a pleasant upmarket diner-style seating area with indoor play centre for kids. Unlike the typical roadhouse its generally a pleasant place to eat whether in your car or inside. The fare is typical of this style of roadhouse diner. There is everything from foot long hotdogs curries and toasted hamburgers to thick based pizzas. Sunday lunch seems popular. Its no cheaper than an established burger joint and pizzas are likely to be cheaper from other big brand pizza chains but its an enjoyable experience that many people will never enjoy as roadhouse diners are few and far between these days. The Zoo Biscuit milkshake is worth the drive out to Brakpan.
