The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was lovely. The food was incredible, the portion sizes are huge and filling and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

Great experience! Great service and environment! Truly enjoyed being there with my family. I called Adega Boksburg to make a dinner reservation, within an hour they pulled it together and delivered a beautiful setting. I will be a regular.

We have been coming to the restaurant for a while, this time our experience was appalling. The waitresses clearly do not have knowledge of good customer service. As no serviettes were brought through our meals, we had to ask for more drinks as this was not offered orders were brought before appetizers. Food was undercooked, cutlery was short of the people accommodating the table and upon receiving our drinks they did not bring glasses and even after requesting glasses they brought one glass less than the people occupying the table. Our experience has lead us not to seek this restaurants food service no longer.

I was unfortunately rather disappointed with the food.Service etc. was great, however the Calamari and the Chicken livers starter, whilst the quality of ingredients were good the food was tasteless.Followed this up with Trinchado. Again good quality meat spoilt by taste, this was not a Trinchado but rather meat in very salty gravy.Sorry Adega Boksburg, your front of house was let down by back of house.

Always a great Sunday Lunch or Public Holiday Chill out spot. Usual Order is the LM Style Chicken and Prawns and unusual Lm Style Chicken and Calamari Heads (grilled).Do try the Super Bock pairs well with the heat 😅

We had the softest snails, Espedado juicy crunchy veggies and the best prawns ever. Service excellent and everybody so friendly and amazing. This place changed since the new owner took over. I will go there every day if I can. You rock.!!!!!

Dont go here!!!! HOW CAN A SEAFOOD RESTUARANT RUN OUT OF PRAWNS!!!!!!AND THEY ARE GOING TO STAY OPEN UNTIL 8!!!? Lovely vibe but terrible terrible terrible insident. If you spend allot of money on seafood - you expect decent quality!!

Terrible treatment from the manager! No prawns in the restuarant at 3 oclock on a sunday on payday weekend! Then we got such a small portion of deshelled prawns that they use for pastas. We wanted a kilo prawns but we got half! nobody would complain if it was a fair share! Very dissapointed and shocked. The manager came in with breadrolls from the shop(because they ran out of that too) and we asked if we can also have of it... we didnt get any bread to fill ourselves . Dirty and too little cutlery. Dirty white tablecloths. He created such a nice atmosphere with the music and welcoming greetings but then it al changes!

Rubbish, never had a waiter ask whos not eating before in my life. Waited 2 hours for drinks and after escalating they decided to start making the food. 1 star is to much, close the place and build a McDonalds. All orders wrong. Starters after mains, its impossible to have a worse experience. The waiter is a flippen Dodo. Ended up at the Nandos after the worst mothers day experience. Nandos never disappoints

I booked a table for mothers day lunch, on arrival we waitied 15min at the door before being attended by a waitress who couldnt find our booking she asked Rian the manager for empty table, from a distance he was quick to say the restaurant is Fully booked and walked away.waited another 10 min till my mother approached him to check for our booking, then he confirmed our booking, asked the waiter to allocate a table for us.we served ourselves food, baffert scraped for cutlery ate, and only served drinks after 45 min of eating by a passing by waitress.. ooh what a horrible experience. Waiters and waitress were running like headless chickens , no time for us at all.Disapointing.

Nice facilities, good food at fair value. If you are prepared to wait awhile for service and meal to arrive, then you can enjoy the linen and extensive menu options.

A bit disappointing went there for eisbein as it is a Portugese restaurant, but according to the waiter its no longer available on the menu.

The food was delicious as usual with great specials. The service was attentive but unobtrusive. This was particularly important to me as we were celebrating my dads 70th birthday.All covid-19 protocols were observed, including taking temperatures, wearing masks and having bottles of sanitizer at each table.The restaurant was very quiet which is a pity because they deserve our support through this very challenging period.

Worst service ever on Mothersday lunch,sat for a hour before we were asked.for our orders.On order arrival the waitress got the orders wrong and argued with us on the orders.Two of the 14 didnt receive food as it was the wrong order brought to the.Overall experience on Mothers day is pathetic .

Theres lots of parking at the restaurant. It was not too busy for lunchtime. Staff were very friendly and provided great information about the menu. Great selection to choose from. Meal was very well prepared and presented. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

I would have thought that if a restaurant is open on a day like new years day the management would be prepared for an influx of customers, because lets be honest, who wants to cook after the night before! They were not prepared at all, the service was slower than the post office delivers the mail. The food was mediocre at best and the overall cleanliness of the place was terrible, dead flies and thick dust on the windowsill next to our table and tablecloths that looked grubby. I was fortunate not to need the bathroom whilst I was there but my husband did and he said they were not clean at all, there was water all over the bathroom floor, the toilet didnt flush and I wont mention what was lurking in the pan. We wont be going back.

Went for Sunday lunch 26th January.I ordered rib and prawn Combo. The worst ribs I ever had anywhere. Lumps of bones with hardly any meat. The prawns were fine.My wife order the sushi combo. They delivered a plate of prawns, and vegetables, all wrapped in dough and deep fried. This was oily and tasteless. The sushi was fine,We complained to the manager, who offered to replace the ribs, but we declined. I never trust to eat anything coming from the kitchen after a complaint.

Adega Boksburg has to be one of the best restaurants to go to for seafood. The service is really good and i have never been disappointed by Adega Boksburg. Cliff and the team are so great, a big thank you to everyone for looking after us as customers we will always return .

Good food, nice outlay of restaurant. Daily specials going and they do party events. Kids play area just outside of restaurant with big windows overlooking from the restaurant over the play area for easy observation over the kids.

We selected Adega for my daughters birthday due to the fact that there is a kiddies play area available. Little did we know that the kiddies play area is also the smoking area for some customers - and that the waitress did not do anything when I complained. There were also no assistance at the play area available like at Spur - I am not saying that I expect others to look after my grandchild.

Very nice food. Has got quite expensive lately. They have live musicians there that like to blast your eardrums off, so it is impossible to hear what the person next to you is saying, which doesnt help when you are having a once in a year family get together. Lots of parking, and fairly easy access. Staff are nice and the menu is extensive with some unusual items.

I have to say that Elliot our waiter was of the most exceptional calibre. Our food was great but the oysters need some dire attention. I keep going back hoping for a miracle but at R21 a pop for a medium to small thats tastes like water is such a waste. There are ways of defrosting these gems to taste amazing that this kitchen desperately need training on. The cooked chips were absolutely amazing! Proper hand cut and not frozen. The restaurant is really beautiful and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are always spotless.The manager that came around to our table (elderly Portuguese gentlemen) was an absolute treasure. I wish who ever advertises this stores specials on social media would actually communicate them with the store though as its not the first time Im more aware of them than the staff themselves. The soya sauce that accompanied the sushi was disappointing. Definitely not the original brand which sadly affected the flavour of the entire sushi platter. All in all a little love could go a long way here but I will be back.
