Love the layout of the Spar. Got a Sunday lunch there, was pretty tasty. Feel that the serving sizes should be equal per customer... The was a gent next to me ordering 1 meal, we were ordering 4 and his meat was more than all 4 of ours combined... But other than that its a great shopping experience and friendly staff.

Good but could not find prawn meat only calamari.

Very small, and limited stock. Tim tams are around 40 to 50 Rand more expensive than checkers... this specific store wouldnt let my 4 year old use their toilets but every other Spar has been accommodating. I only really go here due to the distance to my home. Sad My Spar is not as good as the rest... love Spar in general...

Hi. I have not been to your establishment but because of my 2 students who happen to be sisters I will definitely be coming to shop there. I always go to Westwood Spar but it seems like I have no choice but to change my shopping spot. Thanks to Marizel and Chanike de Beer. Who insist that your establishment is the best from all the Spars that they have visited. You should thank these 2 little girls aged 12 and 13 for free advertisement that is more influential than ANY advertisement I have seen to date.

Perfect place to shop especially during these Covid-19 pandemic. The store is very serious with taking the necessary precautions, Sanitizer at the entrance, people are wearing masks, and the tellers clean or wipe surfaces after each customer. Excellent practice!!!!!!

I was so insulted today. I accidentally forgot my mask in the car. When the lady sanitized my hands she didnt remind me. I just wanted bread and milk but when I got to the till and realized it I immediately put my hand in front of my mouth and apologized profusely. Then the same lady that sanitized my hands without reminding me about my mask came and shouted at me that I wasnt allowed and again I apologized. When she continued shouting at me I asked her why she didnt tell me. To top it all off the managers were making such a fuss that everyone around was staring. I understand I did wrong, but to be treated like a criminal was upsetting

I went to them to fetcher my Masterchef cooking pan and had to pay in R300 by the till in which I did,10min later their security came to fetch me from my car claiming that I never payed had to go back inside with my proof of purchase, wasting my time and embarrassing me.Untrained incompetent security, its a disgrace

Spar has grown since the new owner has taken over the outlet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Management team are strong which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. My only issue is that on occasions there are not enough tellers on duty to handle the demand.

The store is not located inside a mall. The door entrance is directly off the parking area which makes it ideal to run in and out when you need to pick up something in a hurry. They never have long queues as they always have enough till points open.

This is MY Spar, great food great service. The best

Preferred shopping there under previous owners. Concentrate on overpriced imports and seldom have the basics I need. They have a pensioners discount on Wednesdays but I usually walk out empty handed because they dont have what I need. Cashiers are friendly but when I ask management about out of stock items they usually have excuses about availability. Funnily, those same items are always available at Parkrand. Sometimes they promise that it will come with the next delivery but it doesnt happen. Only shop there for specials.

Overall not a bad place to pop in and get a few things, but they dont really have a variety of products to suit everybodys needs. A smile or two from the staff would also be a welcome change. 😀
