The staff at Checkers are very rude and unhelpful.Today there were trolleys standing around in the store, we werent planning to buy much so we didnt take a trolley or basket. upon going to the toiletries I decided I am buying more than I was planning to and wanted to grab one of the trolleys standing around. Wouldnt 2 working chilling at counters tell us were are not allowed to take them and that we need to fetch a trolley at the entrance. I told the ladies, it is fine - we will carry whatever we wanted to buy buy instead just there and then I decided to only take the bread I initially came for.This is not the first time we get attitude like this. The ladies behind the cold meat counter are also very rude and not helpful at all. A person wait a minimum of 5 minutes to get assisted and funny enough at the fresh baked counter there is always just one person working / helping and the rest standing around look at you if you are stupid.So over the attitude of the employees at Checkers.

And when i asked The So called Manager if she can maybe organize something regardless of the Machine being broken she didnt even acknowledge me acting like i wasnt standing right In Front Of Her? Its such an easy situation to Manage... Just make another plan for your loyal customers... Maybe you should send your Managers on Managing People Courses? Im dissapointed on the staff they wear a mask and only cover a month only what about the nose?? Went to do my shopping this morning i felt unsafe in that shop, big up to those who wore their mask and visor correctly.

Once bought Escort breakfast sausages only to find out that they were way past their expiry date. I called in to inform them and while I was on the phone I was told to hold the line. While I was holding I could hear the conversation in the background and them accusing me of lying about the expiry date. So for choosing to have a disgusting, poor attitude I give this place one star. You do not treat customers like that, especially since I am the one who called in. Why would I lie about an expiry date when I have better things to do with my life and airtime?

The ladies that work at the counter where u buy coffee is absolutely just rude. They refuse to sell u a cup of coffee and say we are annoying buy asking them to make coffee and say the machine is not working while she stands there making coffee for herself.

Bought a pork shank, opened it and it a very foul smell. Okay weeks later, bought pork for stew, it had tapeworms soI had to throw it away. Just don’t buy meat products at the store.

Definitely one of the best in regards to the wide variety of grocery stores in the area. Always has exactly what you are looking for. The staff are friendly and beyond helpful.

The best ever

Ive been to this centre many many times before, and never have I felt as unsafe and threatened as I did tonight. I was assaulted by a woman right by the entrance in front of security, who conveniently turned a blind eye. To make matters worse, there are suspicious men lurking around the centre at woman who are walking alone. I wouldnt recommend this centre to anyone.

My favorite grocery store the fresh fruit and vegetables are great here. Envoy the service good selection of cheeses and wines as well.

Bought meat for a braai that I had Saturday, opened it and smelt foul, tried to take it back and manager said I should of checked it first, Friday meat looked fine, wouldnt help with refund or assistance

A bit of an attitude problem,when asking for help to find the cold meats a very ungratious lady showed me,(she was not busy)and merely indicated with her head! Not impressive!!

Store is always clean and organized, unfortunately the some of the staff especially, the tellers, can be quite rude and treat customers with disrespect. but kiosk staff and the management are wonderful.

Find that their products borderline expiry date. For example bought Mayonnaise on 14 May - have a manufacture date of 09 July 2018 and expiry date of 09 July 2019 - we try not to shop there at all.
