Wanted to view a Vw Tuareg. There was one, but it was sold and not allowed to be viewed, understandable. But none of the sales people made an effort to establish whether another branch had one? Or when they will get stock?

One of the best if not the best VW branches there is, i struggled with my current vw branch and decided to try Lindsay Saker VW , to my suprise they actually attended to the problems that i had with my car thats under warranty and solved the problem, they didnt try to find ways around the problem. Im very satisfied with the service that Wessel Ferreira my service advisor provided me with.

Firstly there service department is excellent 10/10 amazing customer service. (they are the only reason this review is not one star)My low rating is due to, when booking my car in for a service I enquired about the new T-Cross and wanted to test drive it once I dropped my car in. The person who had the keys to the safe was not in yet and they werent sure when they would be in, I was then asked to come back during the day but they would assess my vehicle while in the service bay so I could have a trade in value. When I had come back later on, I still could not drive the T-Cross, nor had my car been assessed. I was then promised feedback on the Monday and a quote. It is now Friday and nothing has been received. But thank you - your poor customer service in new sales has motivated me to buy into Audi - I settled on the R550 000.00 deal today.

My car has been on the dealer for a day service since last week Friday. Yesterday I called so I can fetch my car their phones are not working. Today I called the phones are not working and they dont even bother to use their own cellphones to keep in touch with the customers. I dont use them as their customer service is horrible hence I always drive long distances to service my car at Alberton. Tried them this past Friday and I now get a reminder why I have not used them for more than 4 years even though I stay very close to them. If you are in the Boksburg area rather use the Alberton branch as they seem to know what their doing

Enquired about a vehicle but the salesperson could not assist me for 2 days because the system was down apparently. The Midrand branch helped me within 3 hours.

From the start with the sale things were going smooth, but it came to a point of where they have to refund me the cash of doing roadworthy, license disk and registration number they are giving me hard time it has been three months now.

The only staff member that give assistance is the lady at the workshop. The service advisor does not say halo, or smile or assist - does not check vehicle when offloaded with rollback. Tall indian guy in workshop not helpful at all. Also does not greet or smile or assist properly. Will tell people not to go there. Bad service

Service not so good. Waiting very long to be assisted and when assisted you are provided with the incorrect information and information. Vehicles very expensive compared to other makes and models which provide you with more features than the vehicles sold here. Everything extra is additional to the price whilst you get better options standard with other makes and models. Will definitely not buy vehicles from this manufacturer and from this specific dealership.

Waiting here from 25 mins for parts to open. On Saturday time is from 8:30. Asked the guy in sales told me they will open at 8:45.and it passed logn ago still no 1 is in the parts. They dont care if custumers are waiting. Very disappointing.

If you have a maintenance plan dont even bother repairing your car with these crooks. They will tell you the part is not covered under maintenance you need to pay cash and soon as you complain to VW SA they lie saying your car was fitted with an aftermarket part. its tactics they use to make profit out of you since they dont make profit from repair under maintenance, VW SA only refunds them the cost price of the labour and parts . Timothy Foster is the fraudster behind this scam.

I never had a good experience here since August the first time I bought a car there, now my window switch is open they gave me a date of nextweek something they can fix today I must wait, I wont go back there when my upgrade is due

The dealership knows they have problems with their phones as it keeps cutting you off. But they do nothing about it. Looks like theyre not hungry enough for business. 10 times and nothing. Can we delete the compulsory one star too?

Shocking service. After 20 years of being a VW owner, I have moved to Hyundai. The consultant was completely uninterested, never bothered with any kind of follow ups, and clearly also had no idea how to write an email properly. Perhaps VW should invest in some email etiquette training, as well as some sales skills training. When I email the consultant to complain about the bad service, off course, didt even bother to respond.

My hooter was not working. I phoned Wessels he said I must bring my car in. He helped me right away. He had it fixed. I did not wait long. I was extremely happy with the service.

From what the sales consultant told me initially, to what the actual result was, disappointing!

Had dreadful experience with them. I also would never take my vehicle in again. My wipers chatter and sort of jump across the windshield when they get wet. So this issue could not be solved though i had to take my vehicle in for four times in total. Well first of all i cannot understand how such a simple problem could not be solved in two months. Also the service consultant drives me insane. He always promises my vehicle to be done at 4 pm yet not even once he could deliver it in time. I reminded him that i leave work at 4 pm several times but i ended up getting my vehicle back after 5 every single time i took it in. Also did not even receive a phone call to advise me that my vehicle will be done later than the estimated time. I have to call him to remind myself and find out what was happening. I am so disappointed with the service. Been two months since i consulted about the issue with my wipers. It is not solved yet. It is quite frustrating to deal with someone who is not competent and unorganized.I finally requested help from a different service adviser. It made quite a difference. My score would have been 4 stars or more if i did not have to deal with Matthew in the first place.

Went to get a price on my car. I was told to wait. Two cigarettes later no one bothered to attend to me. What did they think I had all day. Used car manager never moved off his chair. Cars up for sale on the lot in bad condition. Poor show.

Why do I have to produce my driving licence to get onto the premises and where is your signage. You get told to go to the service dept but nowhere is there any signage to say where it is. Why am I not allowed to drive my own car into the service area but have to hand it to someone who may or may not have a licence and if he damages it Lindsay Saker abdicates responsibility. Why has the move from Pind Street not been advertised in the local newspaper. Why did I get sent from there to the preowned dept. to CTM because they said it was there when in actual fact it is on the opposite side of the road further down. Sll this to change a headlight globe which should be a roadside job but the car has to be taken apparrt to do it?????????

Took car for new alternator and fan belt told them i had an oil leak. spent xmas day and xmas eve at the side of the road with the family waiting for a very expensive tow truck .. now VW have towed the car from my house to get fixed but been 6 days no call. bet they will blame me and want to charge me a fortune which i dont have im broke from the tow. will see what happens but not holding my breath as even vw south africa head office cant get them on the phone. tried phoning them all day yesterday and today phone doesnt even ring. even contacted thier head office who said they would get back to me still waiting. seem by the time the car is paid off in 2 years i might get it back from vw. very poor service and no respect for customers. cant even call you once to say hey car is ready or car needs abc and we need to fix it because we made this mess in the first place.

What a hell...I booked my car on the 27 December 2018 ...they told me I must bring my car on the 2Jan 2019 I did so left my car waited and waited for them to call they did I drove back with my hubby Only to find out that they didnt did my car ...promise to call me the ffwl day but they didnt they only call me on the 4 Jan told me that my car is not ready I must come on Monday still waited till Wednesday when I go there and ask them what is wrong they told me that they dont have Compressor so I will get my car on Thurday 😈the whole week without car No communication Nothing ..Am so disappointed nje as I trusted them
