Great for family outings and date nights. Casino requires membership card to enjoy facilities. Restaurants available are limited to Spur Steak Ranches and Ocean Basket. Hotel facilities also available on site.

Its a charming little casino. Its got some interesting games even though its a relatively small place.

First time in Bloemfontein. Wanted to go to the casino. As we arrived at the door. 2 middle aged men. Well dressed we are confronted by an arrogant. And rude. Security woman who said we could not enter the premises without Identification. And that we had to have an MVG card. To enter. This to me was an invasion of privacy. I had lots of cash in my pocket which now will be spent elsewhere. I do not recommend. The windmill. End. Story.

The Windmill Casino is one of a few places in Bloemfontein that offers a wide range of entertainment for the whole family. Its also perfect for an adult night out. Whilst the kids are kept busy at their gaming families adults can enjoy a romantic dinner at the Rosies restaurant in the casino or try their luck with the slots or even enjoy live performances and Glam shows.

Loved the premises, despised the service we got at spur the restaurant there though. It was very poor and one of the managers very discriminating. They must really pull up their socks or theyll loose customers

My favourite place.

Nice to have a meal and refresh after a long drive from EL or Cape Town. You wish that there was more choice of eateries, you are stuck with Spur and Ocean Basket.

This place is a real treat for family or business trips , the hotel the restorants the hole setting and the prices is very very affordable

Remember to go 1 hour earlier than you expect to start any sort of entertainment. You have to sign up (they capture FULL identification) for a card to play with, which takes an enourmous amount of time with only 1 card printer and 2 people doing the admin. There were two people in front of me in the queue, and it took 55mins to get a card. Go grab a beer and stand in the queue, maybe that will make time pass quicker

Rude security staff at the door...Will never go there again and do not recommend to anyone.

There is not very much machines to play on. The treatment is nothing to talk about. I will not go there again.

Unfriendly and rude staff. I was taking my mother in law on an outing. Told them I did not gamble but was still forced to spend 15min registering for a card. When asked why, I was told it is the rules!! Maybe find out why you have the rule so you can give a better reason next time a customer asks.

With the exeption of a few friendly ones, the staff are racist, & management NEVER responds to a complaint.

The stressed economy and lack of disposable income amongst the people of South Africa is evident in the lack of patronage and the viability of this resort. The hotel is far below expected Sun Hotel standards. Cost cutting is evident in many areas and it has dampered my experience at Windmill. Food choices are limited to 3 as all the other restaurants are closed. Rooms are comfortable though.

This is a real nice environment that can really get very addictive. Theres a smoking area with machines also a mini bar to order drinks from. Theres an option on the machines where you can call a servant with a drink for you by just a press of a button, as well as if you need assistance the people are very fast to assist you they just need to communicate and explain to beginners a little bit beter on how the machines work because if you have no clue and lose all your money in the start can be very disappointing. There are also very friendly staff in the receiving area.

Some people can just walk in while other must show there mvg card, before you can go in

I had the worst experience ever .Floor staff not monitoring what is going on with machines .Patrons are playing more then one machine at a time putting non casino cards to reserve their machines .Wow full experience.

Covid19 measures severely lacking rules and regulations are not adhered too, once on casino floor numerous persons with masks being worn around the chin area, snuff products still being used despite clear signage not to use the product, staff just dont approach members of the public and ask their clientele to put on face masks properly and not use snuff products. Queuing outside to get into the casino no social distancing rules are adhered to of 1.5 meters, due to staff not enforcing the rules, Ive already had covid19 and dont need to get it again.

Ideal place to tour the area from. Rooms are a nice size but TV is smallest I have ever seen. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts never fail..

I understand that its still lockdown rules tht applies but the ladies at the mvg office should try to wake up a bit...they r very slow which makes the visit not so pleasant...and while playing the slot machines I realised that Im not gonna win anything coz it seemed like the machines hav been set to make u lose instead of winning something even if its only half of what u played
