Pizzas thin crusted and tasty. A nice range of kids toys on the playground.. And the tractor. Kids too wear shoes around the main building... We found LOTS of bees on the paths

Started in 1995, this is a great place with a rustic farm atmosphere to enjoy a nights stay and a great pizza. Light crust and fire roasted, they complimented the selection from the wine list and magnificent Drakensberg hills that surround the iconic Tower. The accommodation is comfortable and clean. A good breakfast completes the deal with Max the daushund, looking at you expectantly and hoping for a tidbit. Highly recommended.

Tower of Pizza was the perfect lunch escape on our windy day in the berg. We had amazing pizza there and I even tried some of their homemade ginger beer. (Non alcoholic) the reception lady is a little quiet and an underwhelming welcome for new comers, but the staff were generally quick and attentive. The food was delicious. I recommend the Dragons Peak Pizza for a firey bite of chilli. (Not that hot, just tasty)

Highly recommend a visit to this place if you’re nearby. Great quality food and value for money. Ambiance is nice and relaxing - although we did visit during off peak season. Good variety on the menu, many options for vegetarians and everything we had was delicious.Definitely recommend their pizzas as their speciality, we had the Cathkin peak and Ndedema Dome pizzas. Enjoyed the thin crispy bases with good rations between sauce, cheese and toppings.The sundried tomato and basil pasta was delicious and you can taste the quality of the sauce (which wasn’t just a can of tomato’s poured over the pasta) Good sauce ratio as well!Even their milkshakes and home brewed ginger beer were absolutely delicious - for any coffee lover the coffee milkshake was delicious.Pro Tip: explore the outside area of the restaurant and don’t forget to visit the decommissioned oven room.

Landscape and setting surrounded by the Drakensberg in the mountains makes this a lovely place. As you enter you are greeted by the gigantic old pizza tower and all the chairs and decor in the building reminiscent of old Boer farming era, a part of South African History, which I thought was quite nice. The pizza’s are nice wood baked pizzas but the fillings are not that great, and that results in a nice average pizza, but if all taken into account, the experience is awesome. A must do if you are around in the area.

Great food, we had pizza and fish with a salad. Terrible service though, we had to get the menu our selves and by the time we were ready to order we had to get up again and ask to be served. Really felt unwelcomed.

It was one of the best meals we ate that week, we had to go back again. Great pizza (tried the one with pickles) with crispy crust but what we really loved was the Rocky Red Salad & house dressing, it was soooo good Ive been craving it since.

Food is lovely and has great taste.Venue is special and you have time to take it in.Waiter service is a bit bad, you only see your waiter for order and delivery of food, ordering extras means you need to go and find some to order. I would recommend they open for breakfast as the area has limited places for breakfast

The pizza was quite good but the staff were very unhelpful and we never really felt welcome. We were the only guests having a sit-in meal and I now understand why. So much potential for a great place though.

Nice place. Very convenient for visitors visiting Drakensberg Amphitheatre. The place has both open area and inside tables to seat. Kids have a play area. Food option is good. To me it seemed a little over priced. But if we think about the location, its ok. We enjoyed overall.

Shockingly good pizza in the countryside not far from Royal Natal National Park. Very thin cracker like crust with interesting toppings. This is a take your time place so don’t expect quick service. Outside play area for kids. Amazing views.

Their Don Pedros are off the charts. Make sure to take a double shot ;) The pizzas are good. Not a very thick base. The way we like them. Average quality meats on the pizzas but does not take away from the overall goodness of their pizzas. Great service from staff and very affordable. Intimate setting for a date in the Berg.

Went for a outing for the day had lunch at tower of pizza. Everything was good. Clean toilet nice scenery. Only wish they had a pizza size for kids. Cannot fault anything.

So after a great day hiking we decided to grab lunch at Tower of Pizza. We started with milkshakes. My son was drinking his milkshake when he thought he sucked up the candy sprinkles normally on top of the milkshake. Low and behold it was small pieces of glass! I called the manager on duty and showed him the glass. I asked him to go and check the glass if it was chipped on the bottom maybe chipped on the bottom. He informed me that is was not. I asked him to go and make sure where the glass came from as other customers were also drinking milkshakes on the day. Took my son to the doctor in Ladysmith. Currently still monitoring him. Not the happy ending we wanted to a otherwise nice family outing. Not impressed.

We stayed here to compete in Run the Berg and had a wonderful stay! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the farm. Will definitely be visiting again!

The pizza was delicious! We had the Policemans Helmet and Sungubala pizzas. The Irish Red Ale is a must if you are not driving! Our waitress was very friendly and caring and everywhere was clean with adherence to Covid-19 protocols.

Good food, good service and reasonable prices.....what more do you want in a country restaurant. Pizzas are excellent, pastas are good but there are very limited choices if you dont do pizza or pasta. The lamb curry is very good and generously portioned. There are a range of salads as well. Desserts are amazing.
