Food was amazing, I had a burger meal. So satisfyingly good. The portioning is on point, the flavours are explosive. You have to check it out. I definitely recommend having it while its still hot. The menu is vast, got burgers, dawgs, drinks as well.This is my new favourite spot

Yesterday about 6 of us spent the morning at The Junk Yard to celebrate the birthday of one the Coffee Crew Ladies. Food was good, vibe was good (Well we had the whole place to ourselves thanks to The Junk Yard opening up early for us, how sweet 👏🏻)I indulged in the El Nacho Slider which came with chips. Well worth it for R45. To drink the waiter recommended the Junk Yard Special something something (can’t remember what it was called) & it was YUM🍹Go check out their Menu online & if it’s your thing, give them a try 👌🏻

One of the finest steak rolls I have ever tasted. The menu is not overloaded with too many unnecessary choices. It has the Classic and Original exemplary items that this establishment is surely rising to higher reviews , with. The food is tasty, perfectly spiced and absolutely amazing. Well worth a stop . The Owner is omnipresent and if his not available he has absolutely capable staff on hand.

Coffee lovers will appreciate this new place. This cafe is not your run-of-the-mill place. The layout and decor are very unique, hence the name. The owner has spared no expense. The customer service was great, very friendly staff and quick service. The malva pudding is easily one of Durbans best, with ice cream and custard provided. The coffee is probably Durbans best! There is also a pool table to shoot a few rounds with friends and facilities for vapers. This cafe is highly recommended.

Naushaad and Zuhair provide the best customer service. Good food with a great vibe makes it one of the top eating spots in Durban. Also ask Naushaad of the best Ice cream shops that will improve your mood (Colaba). You wont go wrong 👌👌

Needs more waiters , seen 2 people handle the entire place, needs a seperate section for kids especially since they mostly run around the smoking area outside. Food was lekker though

Basic junkyard decor but good food. Large portions. We stuffed ourselves with a hot dog each but couldnt finish. Took a third home. Tasted even better the next day. Restaurant was warm so we sat outside. They brought more comfortable chairs for us as we were too old for the crates

I enjoyed the vibe at The Junk Yard.It opens at 12 which is the time we arrived. My only downfall is that we were there before the main staff were available which upset me initially.However the manager saved the day and offered impeccable service.The food was so goodThe aesthetics of the place are so insta-worthyThe selection of drinks is pretty vast too.The staff compliment could be improved by it doesnt take away from what a good experience this was.There is hookah and some other gaming available.

Pool table and hookah also available with an original and unique roof top section as well for those who prefer the outdoors. Definitely a place to try out when in Durban.

What a wonderful experience. The energy of this place is real. With a personal touch. Burger was amazing. Very innovative ideas on the food presentation. Great vibe.Feel free to ask for recommendations from the owner. Owner run, so he is always available to talk to. Great new ideas keeps being rolled out. Cape lounge and Shisha also available so it make for a fabulous chill out spot.

The food was good and the staff were friendly - very willing to make a plan for a vegan. Didnt work out but the effort was still epic to see. The artsy, hipster vibe is brilliant and its a great venue to go to with friends. If it werent for the location (hard to find, tucked away in overport), it would be a beyond brilliant venue.

A hip restuarant in Overport. Very good food, excellent service and clean. Very reasonably priced as well. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Clear entrepreneurial spirit by the owners. Would definitely eat here again when in Durban. A 10 min drive from the beachfront. SA needs more businesses like these in historically segregated areas to get local economies spurred along and create jobs. Wishing the owners continued success!

Arrived at Junkyard on Friday at 2 with the expectation of it opening at 2:15 only to be told that the owner would arrive at 2:30 maybe 3:00, we waited till 2:30 and then left. Lost out on customers. The staff begged us to wait but was very disappointed as we really wanted to try out the fabulous food people have been raving about.

The food was nice especially the dogs but the burgers were a bite dry

Rude Manager. It was freezing outside. Allowed certain customers to smoke inside but not my husband and I. Very laid back and slow. Called in before going to The Junkyard but was not told that if I wanted to smoke hubbly/shisha, I would have to sit outside on tyres on a cold windy night 🤔 Drove 30 minutes to the place just to receive cold treatment and leave completely dissatisfied. Disappointed tremendously.
