I have eaten at Legends diner a few times.... Unfortunately the service has declined which is quite disappointing because the food used to be really good.

Everything was great. Prawns were good but the steak was by far the best. Garlic roll starters were too divine! Was a 10/10 experience. Fast and friendly service too.

Wow! I just had the Alfredo pasta delivered to me this evening via Uber Eats and I must say I cannot fault the meal, it arrived warm and ready to eat. It was saucy and well seasoned.In short I absolutely enjoyed it 😊

The food at Legends is by far the best I have tasted in a very long time. I was truly amazed by how perfectly prepared and sumptuous the food was :-) Compliments to the Chef whoever he or she is. This has truly now become my restaurant of choice for a meal for me and family. Great service and wonderful food.

I must say, they are truly Legends when it comes to food. The meat perfectly prepared to how you love your steak, married with 1 of the best tasting spicy BBQ marinade I have tasted.It the best of both worlds that have clashed together with a big bang of flavour.Perfect onion rings with some really good fried chips.The wings, I only managed to get a pic of the last 2 because they flew because of how scrumptious and mouth watering they were, the spicy dip that comes with it does have a really good kick to it. Oh wait I forgot, you have to try their mocktails, my love had this blue drink, not sure if it was the blue crush but it was totally amazing. It was by far is the best tasting drink I have ever had.It was really a great night with family, amazing food and great atmosphere. Will most definitely go there again @mushinlunat insta

Meals and service excellent

Tasty lemon butter prawns. I never enjoy the peri peri. They had a special running so they no steak 😔 we had the chicken tikka, chicken burger and chicken strips.

Omg! They didnt have ingredients for most of the food we ordered. One of the things that really got to me was when I ordered a chickpea and avo salad and it came with neither of those ingredients..

With soo many steakhouses in durban, I had wondered if Legends was going or be generic and get lost in the multitude of other establishments.However, after sampling one of their signature dishes I was pleasantly surprised. The steak was done as instructed, the signature sauce was really tasty and the portions was sufficient.I had hoped for a more bigger drinks menu, but other than that I left satisfied. If the spurs of the world have lost its satisfaction, try Legends, it will do justice.

Legends always go out of their way to make our dining experience enjoyable. Food prepared well presented very well.kids love the play area. Staff are quite hands on with the menu and very helpful as well

Terrible services messed up our orders waited over an hour for our meals and very smll portionsAnd i payed over R170 for this meals with 4 prawns and a very small chicken fillet wasnt worth it at all and ran very unprofessional and the staff are not well trained at all

Food preparation was slow. Timings given were off. Meals were given to us at different times. Coke was warm. Food was great but service leaves alot to be desired

Bought vouchers from hyperli. They refused to honor the voucher and accused hyperli of putting the vouchers on there own. Very disappointing as we are not from Durban. Refused to accommodate us in any way.

Legends Dinner is a wonderful place as it has loads of space for sitting. The chairs are comfortable as well as the place is a family restaurant. The waiters are friendly and kind.

Amazing service. The food was amazing. The staff were amazing. They really took care of us. We went when it was a bit quiet, but it really does pick up after around 4pm. Staff were very attentive. Try to have something from each section. Portions are addequate for sharing.

Absolutely Delicious....One of the best most filling meals ive had in awhile....Not a huge Steak fan so i opted for the Grilled Chicken Fillet with a mild peri-peri basting, it came with a pleasantly large serving of chips and 2 toasted paninis. Also had a side order of rice and onion rings!!! Was given a choice of cream cheese and chives or feta and peppadew topping which was unfortunately forgotten nevertheless still a great meal!!

Excellent service with outstanding quality. Portion sizes worthy of a king. This little gem is worthy of its name with bunch more to add. Perfect for a new experience. Definite recommend for birthdays and get-togethers.

Best known for their steaks and grill they have just added a new addition to their menu, curries which was really good.They are truly kid friendly, which is hard to find in Durban, they have a kid friendly area where the kids can play. They also have screens for the women who are covered.

We were told we can only be welcome if we have a hard copy. Think about walking on the scotching hot sun of Durban summer day, trying to find a printing shop on a Saturday afternoon.After deciding to give up and let go, we taught this could be a practice that has been used to frustrate clients and get free claims to the purchases. Whatever the reason may be we went back, the look on the gentlemans face on our arrival was worth the pain. Not yet uhuru!Our experience, may be yours will be much better.

Used to be 5 stars, but they’ve started using lower quality meat and poor cuts. The rump was extremely fatty. And the t-bone didn’t have the fillet part. The basting and mushroom sauce are still amazing!

The food and service was amazing. The menu had a variety of tantalizing options and it was quite affordable. The portion size was good and there was enough to take home.

Very cosy place. Accommodates children without any hassles. Food was excellent and the service was good. A very pleasant evening. No rush even though we were the last customers. Highly recommended.

Best food in South Africa.I have been to a number of eating establishments across the country and I have not eaten anything as good as the steak at Legends Diner.Kids loved the brisket burger and prawn stuffed steak as well.Service was great and waiters were very friendly.Nice kids entertainment area to keep them busy while food is being prepared.I will definitely stop by every time I am in Durban.Oh, did I mention that the steak is out of this world 😉

Been to this establishment twice. 1st time had a stuffed steak was simply delicious. 2nd time ordered a pasta, the sauce was not freshly made and when it was serves to me the sauce had already separated. As you can imagine that was not a pretty sight, however staff had no problem taking it back and making me a fresh one. Was good.

Although most aspects of the place were good. Such as meal presentation, cleanliness, ambiance and waiting. I found the meal could have brought through more flavour. I did opt for a medium rump which came medium well but the biggest downside for me was the cold character of the chef. This came through clearly in the meal that was served. The taste of a meal reflects and mirrors the passion of the person preparing it. This didnt show through for me. Someone else may have a different experience.

Overall amazing experience... The staff is super friendly and very attentive towards you. (ps.. They deserve a standing ovation for excellent service). The meal was delicious and the sauces was tantalizing. I could eat the mushroom sauce with everything and Id still want more. Definitely worth your time... 💐

Worst food I have ever eaten.chickrn wings were so small and tasteless.chips had no salt.as for the sauce.tasteless.service bad.Half food delivered,other half forgotten by the driver.The cheese roll for R60 not worth it.Never again

My first time eating from here and I wasnt disappointed. The food was tops, well done guys... only one thing I would advise them on is customer service ethics and more training.

Apart from the décor, which I felt was outdated (doesnt make too much of a difference), everything else about our dining experience was nothing short of awesome. From making reservations, to our welcome, accomodating me with screens(purdah) to a wonderful waiter, Legends Diner is definitely a winner!!Neat, clean and absolutely delicious food.

Worst steak I have ever eaten in my entire life. Wasted more than half of my meal. Service was terrible, I watched the host or whoevers he was visit every table around us checking if the food was to their satisfaction but he never stopped at our table even once and we were the first family to be seated. We were also the only non Islamic family. First and last for Legends. Very disappointing

Really nice place for a good hearty meal. The waiting time however is a long time. But hopefully that will be corrected soon.

The best Go to place for everyone when coming to Durban. Excellent food & the most delish milkshake Ive had. Definitely recommend for a simple supper or even that special Date Night

A great venue with different decor. Food is great and portions are adequate.Their steaks are legendary and the other items are just as good ( I have been told).Salaah facilities across the road and parking on site make this venue sublime.The only issue you are the stairs, sorry folks no elevator here.The tomahawk steak is one to try but be warned you need to come hungry.

Pepper and Legend basting sauce sirloin steak is the best. Service is excellent. A great place to enjoy the best steak with your family and friends.
