The venue is a night and day contrast with the location. The decor is simple and tasteful. The seating arrangement is spacious and can accommodate large families with a fair amount of privacy.The menu is fairly simple offering grilled type items. The meals were well prepared and excellent value.The chicken was cooked a bit longer than ideal so it was a bit dry, but I still enjoyed the meal. The lambs chops were succulent and done perfectly. Both meals that were ordered came standard with a variety of side dishes. Often one has to choose a side but at Sunkist you get everything. Great value.The cheesy garlic roll was soft ( I prefer crispy) and was loaded with melted cheese…delicious.Avoid the Sunkist breeze (drink) at all costs. It Does not taste anything like the description on the menu.Sunkist is halaal and therefore alcohol drinks are not available.

Amazing Mozambican surf and turf at a fair price.The Chops are succulent and flavourful. And the chicken albeit, a tad bit dry, was spiced to perfection.The value at Sunkist is unbelievable, as you get a range of sides as part of your platter / dish as opposed to picking just 1, which is the norm with other leading eateries.All standard non- alcoholic hot and cold drinks offered. (Sunkist is a halaal restaurant)Service is friendly and staff are welcoming. Cant wait to return when in town again!

The food was tasty and the ingredients very fresh. But there is a slight lack in finesse and presentation.The Peri Peri is not spicy enough and the expectation of a good amount of heat is brought down to a flavour of Peri peri. Sad, as I have eaten here before and enjoyed a sweaty Peri Peri prawn and Chicken combo.The waiter was pleasant and attentive. The facilities are very clean and the bathrooms clean.

I enjoyed the setting and ambience. Staff were friendly. Food was OK. I feel more could be done with the food. We had the Sea Food, T-bone and Chicken. Chicken was the better of all the dishes. T-bone needs a thicker cut and basting needs some work. In short, the experience was nice but can be better.

If there was a 6 star option I would give that! From the service to the food quality, price and presentation, everything was exceptional. The staff and management makes you feel like youre a celebrity. Lol. Not kidding! I asked for extras and special orders and ever response was no problem. The decor and ambience was lovely and welcoming too. Cant wait to go back there! PS. Be warned... portions are much bigger than you can imagine. Dont let the generous prices fool you. ;-)

Drove past as I didnt see the signage.We had safe parking within the premises.Food was good.Very nice ambiance.Comfortable and they catered for the mixed group of friends we had.*As a suggestion to the Sunkist owners, maybe have 1 or dishes that can cater for those that DONT EAT meat or dairy products.*But all in all. Was a lovely dining experience.

The food is amazing! Huge portions. Totally getting what you pay for. I did however feel rushed as we arrived about an hour before they closed and they were taking our drinks etc before we could finish them. Overall the food quality is amazing, I think that they need to work on their service. Would highly recommend.

Sunkist will forever be at the top of my list of great places to eat in durban, Their chicken is always grilled to perfection, moist and flavourful. Unlike most restaurants most of their meals are served with chips rice and veggies and at very affordable prices!!! Veggies consist of Genlm Squash, pumpkin and sweetpotatoe a real winner even if youre not a veggie person!!! And something you can never get enough of is their cheesy garlic roll....its exactly that cheesy just the way we all like it!! 🍽🍽🍽🍽🍽🍽🍽

We were here for the office festive lunch. The food was good, however the signature Braai fish was out of stock. I had a steak option which only comes at 1 temperature, well and was quite thin. This was not to my taste. The vibe was great. I would go for a chicken or seafood option next time.

The best chicken I have eaten in a long time.

The food was delicious. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children and we ordered the All Aboard Family platter that had fish meat and chicken along with rice, chips and veggies. The prawns and the chicken were MOUTH-WATERING. Everything was fresh. It was just an all round amazing culinary experience. Definitely a must when in Durban. And such a bonus that it is halal. 🤗

Portion sizes are big, the half chicken was quite big and tasted delicious. Kebabs were fantastic and the steak was good too, but I would not order the steak from here as it is not their speciality. 2⭐ for Service which was good and they even apologized for the poor food quality. Ordered prawns which was like chewing bubblegum. When management was informed of this he said thats how their prawns are made. When I then informed him that prawns shudnt be like this or stuck to the shell to which he replied everyone makes it different and this is how they make theirs n in his opinion there was nothing wrong with it. Only visited coz of a recommendation on their prawns being delicious n Ive frequented many places for seafood. Theres a first time for everything so heres to my first worst prawn experience. Definitely wont visit again 👎👎👎👎

They have become abit complacent when dealing with their customers . I Called to place order. The quantity and prices had changed from their online menu which was irritating. The food was still up to their usual standard though.

Waiters are good, decor gives you a nice feel and toilets are kept clean. The steak is the best I have ever had (take a look at the number of reviews I have had). All the food was beyond expectation. The prices are bit more than expected but I do believe you will be satisfied. I havent enjoyed a place like this in a long while. Well done Sunkist.

I really enjoyed the food here. Quite a bit of variety but I believe the chicken was quite tasty. The ambience is very different from what it used to be at the previous venue - which I found a lot more convenient from a location perspective. Also had a significantly better view and parking. The new location though feels a lot more spacious so I guess it balances off. Overall really nice food
