Im quite pleased to say I enjoyed this milky lane. Being at leisure on the side walk allows one to enjoy the midnight vibe of Florida road before, after or inbetween sessions of partying at any of the local venues. The staff are pleasant and welcoming -even at two in the morning which is amazing in itself.With a sizable collection to items on the menu you will have to visit a few times to try a bit of everything which I certainly will do!

We are regular customers at this Milky Lane and we had a rude experience on our last visit.My daughter politely requested for service from the woman behind the counter (not in milky lane gear, possibly owner/manager?) She was preoccupied with paperwork and snaps back at her Cant you see im busy , we closing the store now! And this was at 7pm, they usually close at 10pm, and their doors were open for customers!Never had this problem with the previous owner. Milky Lane head office take note ...

New menus clean with lots of room for seating. The service was fair and the food good. It is really pricey now as compared to previous times.

We have been to this milky lane many times but not during the lockdown sadly no covid19 regulations were been followed no hand sinatizer at the door, we also wasnt greeted by any staff I had to be asked to be served after sitting and waiting for 15minutes, after receiving the menus we had to wait another 10 minutes to be asked by the manager if we ready only because we was staring at her for service the waffles took forever to come and at that moment we were the only customers in the store further more the manager served a guy without a mask at the till and when 3 customers told him to put his mask on he replied his going to eat now while standing and talking to his friend when we called The manager she said she was working the till I asked the guy where is you food and staff member screamed from the kitchen its here showing me a empty plate this store has no regard to the covid 19 regulations at all Im a victim of covid19 no one knows how it feels untill you actually have it this store clearly doesnt take the coronavirus seriousl. To the owner dont just take my word for it take a look at your cctv between 5pm to 7pm on the 14th of March 2021

I am very disappointed with my order from milkylane. Their nicecream cakes looked so beautiful and delicious in their advertising booklets, however my cake turned out not even close to the original one that they showed. My cake was as if a 2 year old had decorated it. I have pictures also to prove my words. I really expected more from the famous milkylane.

Terrible service, the same lady is the waitress, waffle maker and cashier, therefore she takes so long with everything... No longer a patron there.

Good location. Was busy when we went in. Staff need training; possibly more staff and a supervisor. Slow to process orders as the lady taking orders had to make the stuff herself.

Great portions and icecream was smooth and creamy. Waffle was fresh and deliciously drenched in caramel sauce. Quiet space with few staff who are attentive and helpful. Good spot for a quick icecream, nothing out of the ordinary, with moderate pricing. Accessible parking, enterance and seats for those in a wheelchair. Next to fast food joints and a place to hire movies.

Milky Lane - always good ice cream. Take--way and sit in. Good atmosphere. Surrounded by other take-a-ways, Dominos Pizza, Fisheraways, Steers....There is also a Block Busters movie outlet in side of this particular Milky Lane 😀.Only problem...street parking, which can be an issue on the busy Florida Road...but this does not stop us from visiting!

Visited the Steers and Milky Lane on Florida road a few times now. Although the staff were helpful, there was quite a few points of concern: a very violent movie was on one of the video screens and asked the staff to switch it off ... Not acceptable for a family environment. Had to repeatedly ask for for additional cutlery as the order count was not considered. Not all staff were using proper restaurant gear such as gloves and hair masks. One of the orders was also incorrectly prepared. Aircons were not working. Not the cleanest of places either. The toilet door was not lockable and some regular maintenance is needed there. Security was also lacking

So... Its Tuesday a double wammy day yay! I was thrilled when I saw the promo special on the bar one waffle, buy 1 and get another free.. I was delighted. And gobbled it while catching up with my mate. Its right next to debonairs and fish aways on Florida road, situated conveniently in the front of a video rental, it was quiet and pleasant while one can also be part of the goings on the main road.. All the oodles of toppings made me feel like a kid again. Very clean space, I felt secure eating there. I would definitely go eat a treat at the milky lane on Florida road again.

Exceptionally bad service. My experience here at this Milky Lane was incredibly awful! My family and I arrived here just before 8pm. After ordering just two waffles, I was told that we can find a seat and someone will bring them to us. We sat down at the cleanest table we could find (this table had used tissue and dribbles of ice cream on it. The surface was also quite sticky.)Fast forward 20 minutes and a long drawn out wait in a smelly sweat filled environment, we still had not received our order so I went to the attendant at the till to find out what happened to the order. All she said was, “we will bring it when its ready”. The store was considerably hot inside so I asked if they could please turn the air conditioning on, she simply said “its not working” and turned around to say to her colleague.I understand that sometimes AC’s can stop working and that its also quite hot for the staff members, but the courteous thing to do would have been to at the very least apologize for it.Moving forward, I then asked if I could get a refund, I was told by the attendant that she needed to get a supervisor to process the refund, a few minutes later after walking around with some containers, she went on to call someone from the restaurant next door.Another 5 – 10 minutes later, I raised my voice and asked if someone could please get a supervisor to process my refund. A few minutes later, someone comes over to do it, she did not look at me or apologize for the inconvenience. Simply just dropped the money in my hand and turned around.To make matters worse, while standing there, I saw flies sit on the waffle mixture that spilled over near the waffle machine. Immediately, I knew I made the right decision to cancel my order.During my wait, a customer asked if he could pay for his order and the attendant rudely said “ Ya, go sit down you can pay later”.Another lady waited almost 20 minutes for 4 ice cream cones and eventually left without the 4th one because the attendant couldn’t remember how many she ordered and then tried to look for the order slips.We left that Milky Lane and drove all the way to Pavillion which was even more busy, yet we managed to get our orders within 5 minutes.This branch has definitely disappointed!

Waiteesses are pathetic..very unprofessional and un polite...waffles were terrible..a beggar walked in and was troubling patrons..waitresses ignored this completly🙄.waiteesses didnt vome back to check on customers...they were having their own conversations and was difficult to get their attention..iverall..not a good experience.store was not busy..i cant imagine what it must be like on a busy day🙈

I called and placed an order. Was told it will be 15min. Got to the shop and was told the order was received by someone from fishaway, and not clued up about how Milky Lane works. Therefore my order was not made. I was not happy with the end product at all. I wish to post the pic for everyone to see. My waffle is soaked in barone source.

I asked for my seat to be cleaned twice and didnt get a reply from the server I then asked the third time and was told with such attitude I will clean it just now, Im the only one working here... Absolutely rude and disrespectful to a paying customer, her name was Phumla J. Milky lane needs a manager on site to Manage their rude staff!!! 😡 😡 very untidy and unprofessional if there are no customers the seats are left dirty with sprinkles 😑
