Great place for a quick bite, meals are prepared as you wait and the coffee is average. Its an excellent place for a brief meeting with a relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. The ambience and food is perfect but unfortunately no table service, the plus side is that you can call ahead and order.

Ordered some lemonades and a cappuccino take out. Ordered some food, sat to eat the food, drink the lemonade and left with takeout for others. Forget the cappuccino. At no point did the barista welcome, greet nor tell me I forgot my coffee. Thanks for nothing!

For some of the beat purported coffee IN Durban. Its a little underwhelming how little art the coffee making had. Far too weak in flavour although the atmosphere of the coffee shop is incredible with a florist next door and good wifi

Love this new local little coffee shop that has opened in the bottom part of Florida Road. A passionate owner and a well known barista, Cindy, will ensure a great cappuccino. According to the owner they want to try a different coffee bean every week. The 1st week we had Science of Coffee Beans and this week we had Green Bean ... in my humble opinion, its a one horse race with Science of Coffees winning it by a country mile!

City Roast is fast becoming one of my favourite coffee spots...whether pre-work indulgence or midmorning weekend chill zone. The staff are all friendly and always greet with a smile. Water is always served with the coffee and the best is the change up of coffee beans! Coffee always tastes amazing :)
