My daughter brought her 8 month old baby girl to Lakeview. The baby was admitted and Mom staying with her overnight. The staff advised her about meal vouchers but too late to organise anything and how can they expect she would leave a sick baby by herself in the ward to go and buy supper for herself. Very tired and hungry and sitting worrying about her baby. It would seem Netcare caring standards have dropped significantly since I was Client Relations Manager at one of their hospitals. Very disappointed.

A family member with Covid was admitted to this hospital. When he was ventilated the family requested that his cellphone be brought for collection as two other members of his family had passed in another hospital and the family didnt want him to find out via messages once he woke up. The phone had disappeared and no one could find it, clearly removed without permission. Our family member unfortunately passed away. After much toy throwing & demanding that the phone be found and added to the personal effects which were to be collected, it miraculously reappeared. It had clearly been tampered with as it now needed the PUK number to unlock. Once unlocked it was found to have been completely wiped (reset to factory settings) and all content lost. Look after your valuables when staying at this hospital.

Excellent service received. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Personnel let patients feel at ease. Very caring as well.

After being turned away from other hospitals being full, I was taken in here with suspected Covid. Nursing Staff, Doctors and Support Staff are excellent, kind, attentive and very well specialized.

Dont waste your time at this Facility, utter rubbish. Staff dont answer calls, dont adhere to bookings.

I write this sitting in high care since Sunday (today is Saturday night). I thank the hospital staff for saving my life as I came into casualty with severe stab wounds.I have experienced neglect from the doctor handling my case whom I have not seen now for two full days and is always ‘coming’ or ‘busy’. Unfortunately it leaves me in a position where I do not feel safe and that my case is being given more than a second thought. The nursing staff are excellent and attend as expected but they do not have final say on certain matters relating to medication and treatment which is the delegation of the doctor who I have not seen.I would not recommend this facility to anyone for longer-term care.

Was in the Maternity ward for my labor and delivery and everything was perfect, really great nurses, great hospitality, even the food was amazing. I had such beautiful birthing experience. Really really loved it.

Impressive, excellent safety protocols and outstanding services.

The Dr was really good, however the food and general hygiene of this hospital has deteriorated, and using the pandemic for such hospital conditions is pathetic. Still waiting for the hospital management to provide feedback.

Admitted today.staff is good but reception very arrogant and rude.no halaal food.once this hospital was a good hospital but since Netcare has taken over the hospital has gone down.cant wait to be discharged

I was in their maternity ward and got only fantastic service. I was terribly sick through my pregnancy and they were great.

Pathetic treatment towards babies. Was there on the 17th August 2020 at 9:00. Disgusted by the treatment given to my 3 month old child. Took my child for his vaccine. The treatment towards the baby was so poor and unprofessional.

Very friendly staff, clean hospital, good food! Just excellent . Had my baby boy there two weeks ago and I highly recommend this hospital! Had to just come here and leave a review!

My daughter was born here. Excellent hospital, had my own large private room in the maternity ward with a nice view of the lake. Great food, clean, friendly and professional staff. Was a pleasure coming here. This was 2.5 years ago. But had to come back to leave my review.

My twins were delivered at Lakeview hospital on an emergency . Brilliant staff, great facilities. Clean, spacious maternity ward rooms. Best stay in hospital

My youngest daughter is in labour at the hospital right now. I am heart broken because I was not allowed to sit in as a grandparent. I advised her against choosing Lakeview over Glynwood where I was allowed to sit in and wait at the maternity ward when my 3 other grandchildren were born! So upset!

Good staff and awesome drs, giving it a 2 star because the hospital itself has no facilities for mommies to breastfeed or change a nappy.

It’s a nice hospital. Not very well established though, but the staff all try their best.

Rather go to Glynnwood or better hospitals in the north. NOT a netcare.

Very smart and private hospital the staff are professional

My 4 year old son when in for dentistry, most of the staff are very friendly, the hospital is neat and clean, I felt my precious son was in safe hands.

Its disability friendly and everything is well placed according to hospital standard

Some bit of decortions in the martenity ward would work.

The worst experience ever. You pay an arm and a leg for government hospital standards. Dont waste your money here. Rather go to a public hospital.
