Friendly staff, the free wifi in the lounge, secure parking, clean and tidy old school rooms, aircon in the room for heat as it was very cold at the time of my stay and easy to find off the main road. The only drawback was that there were students staying in the room above me and they were very noisy, so much so that I had to complain about it at the front desk. Even then it took a while before the students calmed down. Way past 10pm. Its for this reason that I rate Hotel Oasis a 3. This is an alternative choice if you cannot find a suitable guesthouse.

We stayed here for 2 nights. First night I noticed that they have a water shortage in Beaufort west. So we only took short showers. Place is well maintained. Clean and fresh. Air con in every room. Bedding clean with bathroom towels. Very very well priced. The only thing that I found odd is that they dont use water sparingly. Toilets have old systems that need 10lt off water to fill. Other wise good place. Friendly staff. They offer breakfast at a reasonable price.

What a beautiful blast from the past! Old school really is cool. Decor is straight up vintage but beautifully maintained and painstakingly clean. I would honestly eat off the floor. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Family atmosphere. Great place to stop for the night and rates very reasonable with a bar and restaurant available.

Neat and clean. Dont expect a modern hotel, this one oozes 70s. Great swimming pool to cool off after a long days drive. Friendly & helpful staff. Good security for vehicles, with a guard and locked gates as well.

The place was clean.But this is a retro styled hotel, definitely not for me but could be great for people who are into oldie looks

Clean, nice food.

Definitly not the luxury hotel they claim to be. The staff were extremely friendly but thats where it all ended. The place hasnt seen any maintenence in years and is extremely outdated. The rooms were basic and had a 20 year old TV and a broken AC unit. The bathroom left much to be desired with the toilet handle being broken. The room was however clean. We ordered the in house breakfast and we regretted it. The options were basic and the coffee on offer was simple ricoffee with only hot milk on offer. Basic cereals and the run of the mill bacon, eggs and sausage. Toast was spongy and soggy. The juice was a cheap premix. The music was also very distasteful for venue and was being played out of a worn out radio with the only staff member present singing to it while being very out of tune. Thjs breakfast cost us R90! We paid the same for breakfast the following night at 17 on Bird and is phenomenally better. This place needs serious work.

After we broke down on the highway 20k after buafordwes we got help from a towing service they took us to Oasis hotel where we got stranded for 3 days. But for this 3 days the owner and staff at Oasis was the best they welkom us like family the best people ever best service. They gave us a spot to work on the car and they went the extra mile to make sure we are okay. I will definitely visit them on my why to capetown next time huge thanks to all of Oasis staff and owners. We are on our why home jhb

Bit of a blast from the past. Neat rooms extremely affordable and friendly service.

Very very outdated decor, but clean. Beds are comfortable, shower good. Does the job in providing a good nights rest. Walking distance to some nice restaurants.

No breakfast nor dinner but bar is open, when I asked to borrow a teaspoon to make coffee the staff treated as if will steal the teaspoon

We stopped in for one night while traveling by car to Cape Town. The staff are great. It is an old hotel but it is very clean and well kept. The pool was cool, clear and refreshing after a long drive. The price was great. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious, it was more like good home cooked food than restaurant food. The little bar and and lounge area reminded us of a bygone era. After a good nights rest we were back on the road the next day refreshed and ready for the next part of our journey. It was a great little stop over. Might stay longer next time and explore the town a bit more.

Friendly service, food was excelent and more than enough. Suggestion maybe try and change bathrooms to shower toilet and basin not only to save water but also for space. Toilet and bath are very close together.
