I visited the Amanzimtoti branch on 5 October 21. I was shocked at how clean and neat the store was. Big thumbs up. Following all COVID-19 protocols. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman that sanitized my hands properly. Then I met the sweet Yoliswa. What a pleasure to deal with this bubbly young lady. From assisting with my order to taking me through every step on how to finalise the order. She never once made me feel incompetent. Just WOW!!! Something that is none existent these days. Not to mention how many times the guys checked in with me whilst waiting for my order as it was a big order. The branch manager Zama,,, what a humble soul, assist me to my car as I couldnt carry my entire order. Maccies Toti you warmed my heart, filled my belly and gained a customer for life.

The 2 times Ive been here the staff was friendly and the service was fast 😁I dont know if it was because it was still morning and it wasnt busy but I loved the atmosphere there and I absolutely loved their mocha 👌🏾😍 delish 😋

The services here is not so bad,however their drive-through procedure is not hundred percent as its not entirely a drive through, u place an order and still have to go wait on the parking lot for quite a substantial time before getting your order meanwhile the parking space is also limited.

We waited for a good 20mins to get our order and the store was not busy.. people that came after us recieved their order 1st.. we had to ask and only then we were given food.

So clean! Organised and friendly staff. I am always really happy and impressed. Love supporting this branch.

Best McDonalds branch in KZN, such friendly service, always giving a warm welcoming vibe from the time you walk through the doors - to placing an order and receiving your order. Staff are friendly, manager is delightful and very hands on - always willing to help out. Its always a pleasure taking the family to this branch of McDonalds. Would highly recommend them.

Chips were very small pieces and dry not like what we used to get nice long and fresh. Burger was so dry sauce was like just a drop. No satisfaction today.

PATHETIC !!! I GIVE UP ON MCDONALDS!! Ive tried all over durban and this is the final straw! The service is absolutely ATROCIOUS. Rather just close down and leave it to the overseas branches because you have no idea how to handle this brand here ! Its embarrassing really , the quality of service and food you put out with your name on it ! Never again . Its not that hard to take an order . Really.

Service was ok, just went in for coffee. Cashier was nice and cheerful so early in the morning which is always a good thing for patrons.

Best McDonalds in the Durban area in my opinion. Big Macs and cheese burgers are always so tasty. Their drive thru is super fast and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I frequently purchase at this McDonalds as I work on Toti and my daughter goes to school at Athlone Park. Twice Ive witnessed the managers arguing infront of customers. The drive thru is never just that, I often resort to just going instore.

Ice cream machine is working as opposed to other McDonalds Ive been to. When they are busy, they send someone to you to take your order and someone with the machine for payment to help speed up the process. Burgers are also very well prepared as if they put every inch of effort into it.

The premises was neat and clean.I dont think the term fast food applies anymore. Not sure if the issue can be attributed to the self service ordering or the production line in the kitchen not being optimised.Food quality was exactly what hou would expect from the McDonalds brand though.At least the staff was engaging to the patrons.

One of the best McDonalds in Durban south basin , situated in Galleria Mall surrounded by many great stores and entertainment including the mini Carnival Fun Fair , this place is wonderful to visit with family especially kids .

They usually mess up my order, and i dont complain i bcoz Im afraid they might do something bad to my order. EG they will not put suace on my big mac wen i say no garnish. 😑

Service pathetic. Bought 4 McFlury through drive through and was told to wait at bay number 2 it will be brought to us. Waited for 25 min until we collected inside. Whats the point of drive through if you are still going to wait, worse for ice cream 🙄🙄.

Today was one of the worst day of my life. Being a restaurant manager myself, I am absolutely disgusted with the way your staff trat their customers. I am a lady that came from work and used the drive through. The staff that took my order was pleasant but going to the receiving hatch, the lady proceded to call me sir as she greeted me. I greeted back and she realized her mistake and instead of apologizing she had a good giggle witht the 3 other staff members that was with her. She ignored me for the next 4 minutes as I waited for my order. As she handed me my order, called me sir again and I drove off. Teach your staff how to talk to customers as I will never return to Mc Donalds in Amanzimtoti. This is totally unacceptable.

Service shocking. Person taking order didnt know menue and got the order wrong.

Everytime we go to McDonalds Amanzimtoti we get terrible service. Customers needs are not a priority. One incident occurred where we placed an order and when we went to pay there was no order on the system. We had waited ages to get to the paypoint and no one knew what was going on. The only saving grace was that my kids food was quickly prepared. But total lack of regard for Customers.

It was ok, just that drive through was not functioning properly. Otherwise all was good.

It was excellent with the service and friendliness of the staff was amazing, talk of the food I enjoyed every bite of the meal.

What a change. Missed our order. Upon querying suddenly got food but 45 minutes after ordered. Group of people sitting on the outside seating area drinking vodka openly staff walk past and joke with them. These guys passing comments at everyone that look at them confrontation. Unacceptably nothing done by staff. Unsafe environment.
