Dont expect the staff at this store to to eagerly help you with any issues regarding cell phone account queries. They are not interested and will tell you to phone the customer call centre. A way around it is mention that you want to upgrade then they swamp you with eagerness!

I left my ID there when I came to do s sim swap only realised 3 to 4 days after went back to find out if they have it cause honestly I wasnt sure turns out they did and the kept it safe for me... Big up to this outlet I like it

My dad and I visited the Galleria mall yesterday. Had to go to Telkom. We were greeted at the door by the most friendliest and helpful guy. Sorry didnt get his name.Strange enough it was not busy as usual. I often hear people complain about the terrible service they receive at this branch. I totally disagree. We were assisted by Siya at the front desk. We needed guidance and info. He was the most accommodating person Ive dealt with after a very long time. He guided us and gave us all the information we required.Thank you Siya for your professionalism, keep up the good work. Telkom definitely needs more people like these 2 guys. See you soon.

3 counters servicing... I was 3rd in line with 3 clients being served and waited well over 1hour... Funny thing the ticket says estimated time 35 min... Take note that there are approximately 7 clients in total in the store... Counter number 3 assists someone with no ticket... How does this work? ...how does one customer take more than one hour... Is it poor service or is the store under staffed?

4 hour 43 min wait to get to the front of the queue. I have never experienced employees work slower. 5 Employees attending to the customers!In the end when I was next in line I was told I can leave due to the network being off, that they were not able to assist anyone any further.

A cable was stolen 2 weeks ago. Telkom could not manage to get a cable in 2 weeks time. It is still not replaced! In todays world who takes 2 weeks to fix a problem? Telkom thats who. PatheticThe responses from the owner on other 1 star reviews are also pathetic. We will try to do better. Well Telkom try harder, you are not getting it right yet. As a matter of fact its even worse now!

Pathetic service. Always more than an hour wait. When you finally get to someone the only help you will receive is a call centre number. Which will never be answered due to technical difficulties; if youre lucky enough that the number exists in the first place. Getting money back from Telkom is harder than drawing water from a stone. Deserves much less than one star. Complete waste of time.

Ive called the store and it rang for close to 15min, the frustrating thing about this is that i have been to the store and the telephone is literally arms length from the consultant, even while i was there and after waiting awhile to see one of them, the phone just rang with no interest shown from none of the consultants, i know this is a good way to vent but some sort of action needs to be taken here, telkoms reputation has gone down the drain, how do we get assistance, i also applied for a data dongle on monday and they said 24hrs it then went to 72hrs, and now 4 days later and nothing. Someone needs to do something and do it fast.

Eventually walked out in disgust after the third time trying to get assistance here. Only 2 counters open. 3 other staff wandering around 2 of whom looked as bored as can be and the other walking from 1 back door to the other fixated on the noise (music/ video ??) coming from his cellphone. Oblivious to anyone else in the store

I havent seen such a shop that looks like its run by people from the street. I applied for a contract on the 16/10/2016 (sunday), was told that there was no stock and that my application wasnt approved instantly but was told that Ill be updated and that they are expecting a stock on tuesday 18/10/2016. Tuesday came and I received a call saying that the application was approved but theres still no stock and the manager is calling to get the stock. On the 28/10/2016 I received a message saying that my device is ready for collection I should just bring my ID book, I went to collect the phone on the 31/10/2016 and to my surprise theres no phone they still havent got stock but no one could answer me on how was then the message sent to me for collection and I was that I applied for a black phone when I wasnt the color. Im so disappointed in the service of Telkom the are so pathetic and act like they know nothing I waste my time and my petrol driving to collect my new phone only to come back with a broken heart. Telkom Galleria should just be closed some of those people seem not to know what are they doing or do not care. One of the excuse that I got is that all the Telkom stores do not have the stock, which is hard to believe but Ill prove it myself because I trust them no more. 👎👎👎👎👎

Excellent service from Bongani Zimu. He is an absolute star at telkom. We da to wait over an hour to be served by him. His demeanor is fantastic and calming. Well done Bongani!The service agents checked within minutes what we needed and directed us to the counter, this helps with people that do not need to wait! A huge improvement from previous experiences.

If this is the level at which all Telkom Direct stores are managed than Its sad to know. When I go to that store I know I will not spend less then an hour waiting in the line. Recently bought two contract tablets at that store and was not given my screen guards that were supposed to be free - now when I call to enquire no one picks up so m forced to go in store and wait the hour in the que... worse of all there is a tall slim Indian guy with lots of piercings that is so abnoxious...

This number just dials and dials. When you get thru you get a hello and the phone is put down on you and them starts all over again just dialling and dialling.Why is nobody doing anything about this poor service this store is giving and surly it drags down the business brand!!If I was asked to hold and waiting for 10 or 15min I would be okay with that but the way this store operates is questionable.
