Worst Dagwood Sandwiches ever. The egg was rubber and tough. The patty was dry and choked me.In all honestly they need to work on their Sandwiches and make it with some more respect for their clients.On the upside. I reallly love their soup and the store is always is a neat and tidy condition.Really never ever buying a sandwich at this store.

Good variety. Big and clean. Shopping in the early morning is a pleasure as its quiet and tills go quickly so no waiting on long queues. My only issue is its difficult to find staff to assist and takes very long to get the price of an item if its not marked.

Telephones are just ringing and when one does eventually reach someone on the other side it sound like they are chewing bubble gum ,Not to even mention the telephone manners...Phoning to get a stockist availability on an item is problematic and this is clearly a poor service rating on my end.

We bought chicken biryani for supper tonight (5/6/2021) a big take away tub only to find that its rotten, I am so disappointed in the Deli department of Checkers hyper Galleria Mall I wanted to post the photo but network is against me- the food label says sell by 6/6/2021💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 (how is that possible, your food spoils even before its sell by date???)

Big up to the staff here. I came in a with a small baby and he started crying uncontrollably, they kindly assisted me with the shopping. Its always nice seeing people going beyond their call of duty. Also, the xtra savings card is the best!!!

Its a busy store, well stocked as one would expect. Galleria Mall has easy access and ample, convenient parking, so Checkers is easily accessible. The prices here are reasonable and the check out is efficient. The aisles are well laid out and its easy to shop here. 👍👍👍

Been calling a store for the past 30 min to check a product no ones answering

Just bought Vetkoek today around 14:35...and they were not cooked properly the Flour was still raw inside...#Just picture this...if vetkoek flour was still raw inside how about the rest of the other products that were makes,baked or cooked that uses sheet flour. How are they?... #i like bakeries but today wasnt sertisfied.

Moderate size store. Very neat and clean. Well stocked. Friendly staff. Can get extremely busy on weekends and during month end or when theres specials. Try going as soon as they open during the week.

You can find what you want here for decent prices. Gets busy sometimes especially weekends and holidays which causes big queues. Usual stop for groceries. Never had any issues.

Today at around 10:00 my familly and I visited Checkers our usual Sunday trip at Galeria mall, my wife is in a wheelchair my son is 10 and my daughter is a baby of 9 months, we entered the store doing our usual groserie shopping and left the store I ran an errend at one of the other stores in the visinity of checkers when I was done there I met with my wife and children that were waiting for me, we were then approched outside of the store and harassed by one of the security guards from Checkers, started telling us that we are ment to declare goods when we enter the store, and proceeded to stick his hands into my babies bag, and pulled out my babies sunscreen I let him know that he should put my property back in my bag and leave, since when are Checkerss staff allowed to harass people outside of the shop, I aware that shops check your bags uppon entering the premisses when I entered the shop there was nobody else at the door and the guard let me through, what gives Checkers the right to harass me outside of their premisses, I am taking this matter further and expect serious action to be taken against the guard that harassed me and my familly.

Genrally I enjoy shopping at this branch however today whilst doing my shopping I got a bit hungry so I went to buy d full chicken but I wanted d one that was not wrapped ,not d pre packed one.The lady who was serving insisted that I get d pre packed.l ddnt want it.Eventually jst payed for my grocery and left.I couldnt understand why they have something displayed yet they refuse to serve it.
