This brand would be familiar to traveller from Cape Town and a welcome stop on a road trip in this mall.Wait time was about 15 minutes for a burger meal which is not too bad if not stellar.Part of the reason may be that on a Saturday they only had two servers operating on the floor for a fairly crowded venue.That kid of pressure can result in mistakes. Like if you ordered bread instead of a bun and it was toasted instead.But that aside, it wasnt a bad experience, tough one cannot help but notice a virtually complete lack of patron diversity in the establishment, even more so than in other areas.

I always enjoy going out for breakfast with my husband after dropping kids off at school. Mug and Beans is one of my favourite places and most of the time I go for my usual. Today I decided to try the breakfast bun and what a disappointment. The bread was old like a cheap bun you buy from the previous day at checkers or pick and pay. Not at all a “brioche “ like advertised. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture… hope you can improve it… even my husband make a better “breakfast in a bun”…*update⚠️⚠️⚠️The customer service phoned me 2 days later and offered me a complimentary breakfast and apologies. They corrected the mistake and I must say I was quite impressed with the quick response!! Well done Mugg and bean!!!❤️

Had a good experience at Mugg and Bean. Service was ok. Food was excellent.I had a sandwich with a red cappuchino and my wife also had a sandwich with a filter coffee.Restaurant was quite busy which is a good indication of how good the service and the food is.

We had a great meal and their butter chicken curry bowl is a winner.My wfie had a chicken strip starter with a sweet chillie sauce which was tender and tasty!

Used to be good . Not sure what happened to management there ..over last 6months there has been a steady decline in service . Not enough staff. Ridiculous waiting time to be served.Hope they can turn it around for this well known and loved brand.

Good food and friendly service. The kidies menu is very good with big portions. Try the big boy breakfast. The M&B is close to the cinema so easy to get something to eat before or after a movie. Would visit again.

Weve always enjoyed Mugg and Bean. It offers great food and coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. The service is great and the staff friendly. The Thai Noodle bowl are a must. You will not be disappointed. I love the RAK table ware, definately lends a certain sence of style to ones dining experience.

The fact that they change their closing times from day to day is unacceptable. .i was under the impression that all places in mall are open till 18h00. Met up with a friend after work at Mugg and Bean at 16h15 and as soon as we sat down we were told to order quickly because they close at 17h00. I would think after being closed for a few months they would welcome business but apparently not.. in other words as a working person one cannot go to Mugg and Bean. Instead of being rushed we went to Dulce where we were welcomed and told we can stay till 18h00.

I came to grab some lunch and do some work on my laptop for a bit. My waitress did not greet me before complaining that I sat at a table with coffee cups on, when the manager herself told me to sit there because I asked for a plug point.The waitress was rude the entire time I was there and kept rushing me. I eventually just ate quickly and left without getting any work done because I felt so disrespected. The restuarant was also not full so its not that I was taking up a table that someone else wanted. Very disappointed.

Must be the worst Mugg and Bean in the country. You wait 20min for a menu and another 20min for your coffee. 40min wait for food when youre not busy is just pathetic and they got the order wrong. Food portions is smaller than other franchises as well. Rather go somewhere else.

Had breakfast just stepped in and breakfast was ready in less than 2 minutes. Was so suprise but when I received my meal I was shocked. My egg seems like it was prep a hour before. The bacon omw no please I would rather wait for my meal thats well prepared. Please have a looked at you preperations.

We went to Mugg & Bean for breakfast on a recommendation from a friend, and it will be our very last visit to this franchise. The waiting time was long, which is still kind of acceptable, but the food was not prepared as ordered.Hubby ordered the Big Grill, with medium to rare steak and a medium egg. The egg was hard, and the steak was way past well done.I had the Big Ben (basically Eggs Benedict). I’m not 100% sure if the cook knew the recipe for Hollandaise sauce, but the sauce on my plate was definitely not that and there was barely any spinach on the plate.We did mention the issues to the waitress, and we just got an “i’m sorry” response and she went on to other clients.We left with full bellies, but definitely not satisfied with the flavors of the food. I would recommend giving the cooks some extra training just so they can master the basics of how to grill steak or even make a basic Hollandaise sauce.Definitely not worth the R400 we paid for 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks.

Waitress wasnt very attentive, didnt get my order correct, waited long to get a muffin and then waited even longer to get a bottle of water...just wasnt a great service in general, the muffin was great though!

Terrible service! Waited 30 minutes for coffee and tea. The waitress did not look at us when we ordered. She was looking at what was happening outside the store. I had to tell her to look at me so that we could order. When the foid arrived, there was only one meal in stead of 4. After the person had finished the meal the others arrived. Terrible!

Dont bother. Standard rooms. Lousy tv channel selection. Waited 45 minutes for breakfast then left as it still had not arrived. Noisy. Hotel parking always full. Its a camping place for gamblers who turn up at all hours and wake you up.

Food was well prepared. Tea was cold and weak... After complaining the prepared a new hot strong pot. Excellen friendly service.

We had the worst experience at Mountain Mill Mugg & Bean today.We waited more than 50 minutes for our food and when the chicken sntichel arrived, it was over cooked on the outside, and frozen and completely raw on the inside..The staff was not helpful at all, and when we complained the waiter was rude. Almost as if it was our fault.Unfortunately we will never visit our local Mugg & Bean ever again.

Great service during this trying time

The waiter by the entrance was more concerned about her tip from a previous table then to help us as we arrives. Not a welcome or even eye contact from anyone. We were 7 people so its not like you didnt see us coming. So i walked up to her and asked her if we could just move any two tables together and they just watched us do it ourselves. Not one offer of help. This spoils a persons mood instantly.

We are frequent customers, I am also a chef and know how things are suppose to work not only in the kitchen but FOH as well the food always takes long, but its a good thing always fresh and well prepared, but today was an epic failure at the Worcester branch, we waited 15 mins for a menu and it took me another 15 to get up and walk out before a waiter saw me, at this point not even a drink order was taken the place was not that busy, I was completely and utterly disgusted with FOH service worst I have ever experienced in my years in the industry, train your staff to be efficient and fast, good manners will come in handy

Ordered flapjacks it took a hour to come, the plate was hot and the flapjacks were still cold in the middle. Really disappointing , it was clearly reheated or defrosted.
