Such a beautiful location on the fruit farm with those majestic mountains literally just behind the cottage. Great walks marked out on the farm. Fantastic bird life. Comfortable and spacious accommodation. All you could ever need. Lots of activities and places to visit in the close vicinity. Feeling of safety.

This was one of the best places we visited. If you are truly seeking peace and tranquility I urge you to visit Vredehoek. Melt is the best host you will find.This guestfarms has 4 different hiking trails and the views are absolutely breathtaking. This is a definite must visit again place.The house itself was amazingly clean. You could feel the cleanliness in the depths of your soul. Every room, nook and cranny was spotless and it had everything you need to be comfortable.I highly recommend a visit to this guestfarm.

This place is amazing. Camping or staying in a house there. Well priced and the perfect getaway to relax for the weekend. Lovely trials and places to swim. Really enjoyed our stay on this working farm. Well be back!

Vredehoek Guest Farm is undoubtedly one of the best guest farms I have stayed at in the Cape Region. I cannot think of a single thing I would change or improve. Melt, the manager, was warm, friendly and went out of his way to organise n permit for a day hike. He even allowed later check out without any qualms when the hike took longer than expected.The view from the balcony is exceptional, the cottage has all the amenities one can ask for. Check in, and out were a breeze, and Melt even left some fresh fruit in the fridge as an added bonus on arrival. The stars at night was something city dwellers like myself are not used to, and was a sight to behold. Ths peace, tranquility and natural beauty makes Vredehoek Guest Farm an excellent option for a weekend away. Highly recommended.

Beautifull cottages with everything you need. Just the place for total relaxation. Amazing views. Quiet with just the sound of farm animals and birds. Very helpful host.

There are times in ones life where you rub your eyes and pinch yourself just to make sure that you are not dreaming. The weekend away at Vredehoek Guest Farm was on e of those times. The interaction actually started a week prior when the host Melt, was very accommodating in letting us cancel a previous booking my brother had made and book one of the big houses on top of the hill (Royal Beaut). On Sunday we were already on the way back to Cape Town and decided that we just could not go home yet and again Melts can do attitude and approach sorted out everything for us in no time and we were blessed to spend another night there.The home itself is a beautiful modern open space with a huge deck and beautiful fireplace for those cold nights.The rooms are beautifully decorated and have the most stunning views from you bed that is lined with the crispest cleanest linen you will find at any establishment.Below the deck there is s stunning braai area that allows you to enjoy the views from outside under the vines.There are several short hiking trails that allow you to explore the beautiful nature all around the property and spend time in nature. You can also arrange for a 4 day hike from here up the Mosterts Peak (4th highest peak in the Western Cape).Theres also a ton of things to do in this beautiful valley from wine testing to eating out and just enjoying nature on its own.In the house you will find a guide to this all that may take you the whole weekend to work through as that is how comprehensive it is.Melt ensures that everything is neat and in its place and that you have a stunning time without having to worry about everything.Worried about COVID? Every home is cleaned completely and there is no case of it seems like they did not use this towel EVERYTHING is cleaned and sanitised and Melt checks every little piece of every home for cleaning personally. They go as far as to not take someone in on the day that you leave as a good clean takes them a full day to complete due to their thoroughness.ALL COVID restrictions are adhered to and all measures are in place from temperature checking etc.I have no problem in recommending Vredehoek Gust Farm to anyone looking for 5 star accommodation and service at an affordable price.I know we will definitely be back, Thank you!!
