Stopped there for a bite to eat on Saturday and enjoyed it so much that we returned on the Monday. Very laid-back atmosphere. Outdoor seating with spectacular views. Kids loved it as there were activities for them, etc. The menu is limited, but the food were amazing. Bought some homemade chili sauce as well...

One of my favourite places to visit in the Cedarburg area. The owners Steve and Tanith will make you feel welcome and right at home. The view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking and you can taste the fresh clean air. The menu promises a yummy in your tummy experience and the portions are overly generous and delicious. A ice cold craft beer or cider goes well with the lunch menu. The gift shop has an array of trinkets, luxury items and artisinal cheeses and various other edible items. There is also a stay over option on the working farm and although rustic, the rooms are spotless and cozy. You get to stay in the compound and Steve will gladly braai for you while Tanith will prepare yummy salads and veggies. All in all an awesome overnight experience where you get to meet the resident nguni herd and other farm animals. A gem of a place on the doorstep of Ceres and surrounding tourist attractions. We will be back for sure. My 9 year old son will keep bugging me to go back no doubt.

Do not let the name fool you, this place is great and they are open when the place next door and the one in the pass are closed(wich is too often). Rustic, artsy and has a truly rural authenticity - with great food and hospitality. You will get more than you expect, the coffee comes with condensed milk. The cheeseburger is excellent and served in a wooden truck! They do serve alcohol as well. There are 3 friendly dogs and they got on fine with our dog. Play area for children too. Glad I turned in here.

Cozy rest stop to catch a breather, have some coffee and a quick bite. Some interesting artsy curios, handmade toys, foods and lovely faux wind pumps for a garden ornament, should you be able to fit them in or on your car.Note to self, next time Ill try ask for a toasted egg and bacon bun. I think Id prefer that. The egg and bacon was lekker.Well definitely stop by again should we come back on that road!

Really worth stopping to visit. Clearly someone very skilled in the kitchen and someone with a love for metal work, perhaps its the same industrious person. The shelves inside are well stocked with bottled chillies, chilly sauces, jams, cake, fudge and other things youd expect to find in a farm stall. But, there were also wooden trucks, tractors with a long wire steering wheel, windmills of various sizes and Ngunis and very young calves roaming freely around the farm stall.

Went back to Hillbilly farm, this time to try out the bunker. As always, the braais and company is unbeatable. Big fires, chilli vodka and amazing people makes every day there fun. Every guest that arrives here seem to be like-minded, and you can always rely on the warmth of the coal stove in the lapa in cold nights. The bunker is warm, facilities clean and its a typical outdoor, hillbilly experience. Wooden houses, basics, good times. Going back no doubt. Thank you Steven and Tanith!
