Went to check what the hype was about, the view, food and service were not just fast but excellent as well.The Sushi was really delicious and beer ice cold, could not fault them at all.. Well done we would definitely return when in the area.

Been a few times and always excellent food and service.Menu has changed since last time I popped in but the curry is a must try ! And the prices are quite reasonable.We sat on the top floor for the first time and on a warmer summers night u could sit outside and listen and see the ocean from this beautiful spot.Overall its still a stop over on my way though or if I staying over in wilderness like I am now.Dont miss out when your in wilderness!

Our waiter was amazing! He really went the extra mile for us. Food was good and the outside area created a really nice vibe. The drinks were also really good, their cocktails and cherry tequila is recommended.

We had such a lovely lunch celebrating my husbands birthday, made even more enjoyable by the attention paid to us by our server, Brenda. She had this special dessert prepared for him!

Situated virtually on the beach in Wilderness. Stunning views, attentive waitresses, strict covid protocols in place. Food was excellent, I tried their Pinotage pairings, very interesting and tasty. A most relaxed venue.

Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean, a perfect spot to watch the sun set! A very light atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.There is a wide variety of meals, some tapas, delicious seafood combos, some curries, salads, burgers and even sushi platters. They also have a few cocktails and an extensive wine list.Wheelchair accessible as well.Not the ideal place to go if youre in a hurry.

We where greeted with a warm welcome on arrival. The manager recommend us a seat on the upper deck with beautiful views.The seating was open and very generous spacing between tables. Which is great for these times.Food was great and prices fair. Portion size was spot on too. We had the calamari, battered fish and chips, and fish curry. All where great.Only recommendation to the owners would be to tap down the krupkuk on a paper towl to remove the excess oil. Otherwise no complaints.TLDR:Good food, friendly staff, fantastic views, fair prices.

Amazing food! We had the mussels, fish, prawns and ribs. The only item I would fault is the tiramisu-there was too much cream. But everything was exceptional and our waiter was so friendly. They are observing covid protocols which put us at ease. This is a place you have to eat at when visiting the Wilderness.

Come to this amazing seafood and sushi restaurant every time I’m in the area! It’s so nice with the beaches front views and amazing sunsets. The service is consistently good from beginning to end. The seafood is so fresh.I highly recommend all the sushi including the platters, wide selection of rolls and the sashimi. Great options for thick and creamy milkshakes, and a large wine list. Even can order MCC by the glass not the bottle. Love their snoek and sweet potatoes cakes which are deliciously flavoured. Finish it all off with one of their delicious desserts: personal favourite is the tiramisu which is a creamy take on the classic coffee soaked treat.Very Covid safe with well spaced tables, lots of outdoor dining options. The temperature checks and sanitizer at the front make it feel safe.

Food was very underwhelming. We were very keen on seafood after a few days of braaing. Our friends and us were going to both have the platter for 2 for lunch, but when it came to ordering we were told theres only enough for one platter. They had just opened for the day?? Also this wasnt said to us in the beginning. I feel if something isnt available on the menu, it should be said immediately before you get your heart set on eating that. Dont think well be back.

We had the most delicious seafood platter.

Ordered the Island Burger and a Fish Curry to help support during the recent lockdown, only to find when I get home its a basic burger, with all trimmings removed, for only R10 less. If Id known I was getting a simple burger with no taste (for R85)i wouldve either ordered something else or gone to another restaurant. A 45 minute round trip to get food, and when I phoned to make the restaurant aware of the issue I was met with a nonchalant attitude.

So many restaurants with a view fall short with their food. Salinas isnt one of them. Here, you get the stunning beach, ocean and mountain views, but you also get friendly service and a chef that very clearly knows what hes doing. Well worth a visit.

Service was slow - but if youre enjoying the view its ok.However dont believe their marketing about Spanish style food, blah blah blah because the food is honestly mediocre.Its absolutely worth it for sundowners to watch the beach and sunset (their drink selection is great!)

Havent eaten there yet but they are very professional plus the waitress are friendly and professional,its a beautiful place to visit with the viewing of the beach,smelling of the oysters and watch the waves while the waitressed are busy preparing your food.

Very nice place and very friendly staff. At the door we saw that it wad fulle booked , we went in and asked the lady if they maybe have an open spot, she told us to wait at the bar and within seconds we had our table :). The food was very delicious! One thing is that we ordered lemon butter calamari and instead recieved cujan spiced calamari, told the waiter that we recieved the incorred calamari but its so delicious that we dont want to send it back. Waiter did tell us that “its because majority of people order the cujan calamari “ - not really and excuse but never the less it was really good. The beer buttered fish and chips is absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend it! Yum!! Would definitely go there during day time as we would like to experience the view and more delicious food.

Basic uncomplicated food with a nice view, if thats what you are looking for then this place is a great choice. If you are looking for something higher quality I dont think you will enjoy it here.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Salinas yesterday. Our first time there, we were super impressed to find a couple of vegan options on the menu.Having just come from a strenuous hike our hunger eclipsed common sense and no photos were taken of the food. Damn!The service was excellent and the setting (we sat on the deck) picture perfect. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area.

That calamari was delicious and tender.Their sole was scrumptious.

Had dinner on Saturday night... The terrace is the perfect location to watch the sunset and they even provide blankets!The service was excellent and well when it comes to the food, all I can say is RIBS, they were declared the best by my husband and I agree... The meat fell off the bone, there was no fat and the flavour and sauce, were sublime... Im a convert, my fillet was great but the ribs ruled.

The food was delicious, the rest of the family also seemed to enjoy it. I am told there was a play area for the children to enjoy. To be honest, I enjoyed watching the paragliders on the mountain.

My son and I stopped in here for some desert. Stunning view over looking the beach and a great position to view the sunset. The desert we had was terrible...ly delicious, tasted like more.

Lots of choices from various cuisines including a varied children’s menu. Views down to the beach. Family friendly & great outdoors space. They also offer take away desert which Is great if you need to leave.

Fish was cooked and not grilled as requested. Cappuccino was weak and too hot to drink, seemingly didnt use a coffee machine. Prices are a bit steep for the quality of food eg. Calamari strips instead of tubes. Wine list is good.

Simple but good food! Restaurant itself is nice with friendly staff and relaxed music. The atmosphere was good in general. The view on the beach was very nice but do know that it depends on where you sit. Some tables have a view on the motorway so keep that in mind. Would recommend though!

I just popped in for a quick drink. Service was excellent. Had my drinks and bill in no time. The place was bustling. Old story...bums on seats says it all.

Such a stunning location. Pity the service and food was disappointing. We waited over an hour after having our starter and weren’t offered any more refreshments while we waited. The fish cake and curried fish starter was good so expectations were high. The mussel starter was tasty but no garlic flavour as the menu said and was unexpectedly quite spicy. Unfortunately our calamari main was also just to spicy and when you don’t enjoy spicy food it’s just a total let down.
