As usual we greatly enjoyed both items off the menu under the canopy of guava trees. The lamb curry had a nice bite and the lamb burger was juicy and flavourful. This is one of our main go-to places whenever we stay in Wellington.

We loved it so much that we went back a month later with friends!We stayed at Guava Cottage in January and enjoyed our stay so much that we booked the Manor House in February.Lovely facilities, private pool, a/c, everything you can possibly need for time away from work.The on-site restaurant with play area is also great for families with little ones.

Highly recommended, absolutely beautiful and very hospitable.

This place is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner also for sleep overnight in the beautiful guest house

Ill give a 5 beavuse service was very efficient and staff were friendly making us feel at easy.Will definitely come back.Butbyou should try to offer guava picking, because there are many of guava been wasted by not picking them up, this will generate an extra income for the farm and kids and parents alike can enjoy this fun activity after or before their meal.Well done and keep up the good work

Celebrating my grannys birthday who was not available we thought of visiting this place, found it on Google. Shockingly when we got there, we were not greeted the lady on the till said they were closed before we even got near her and it was around 2:30 to 3pm yet website says 5pm.. So i asked why? And she said food is not available, we were making our way out when my hubby asked so you dont even have a drink?? She replied we do, we have runout of wraps and rolls🙄🙄. Are you for real? Why would you think we wanted rolls..?so my hubby said oh so you have steak, i will have steak... Then she looked at us and asked where we came from🙄🙄, i wondered is it because we black... I thought wow. We got a table just coz we were very hungry at that time.. The waitress said to us i dont know what she wants she said no food, then changes, eish.... But i did not stop thinking about it especially when i saw the number of people that came after us (white, coloured) who were greeted with a big smile and not told of rolls being sold out... It made me think, do you not allow black people? coz i will make sure to let them know on Black Twitter .. Very disappointed with that lady.we did not enjoy the food we were hungry.. And the service i got... But guess what i left a tip anyways, just to teach you, be good to all people and never judge...I will spread the word

Just absolutely amazing service - above and beyond. We had an incredible weekend there. The Vine cottage is everything you can dream of with its own private location and jacuzzi. Amazing complimentary wine hour where you can literally just help yourself to as much wine as you want!! Such fantastic included breakfasts too - they even delivered to our room! Hands down our best getaway, thank you Dunstone! We will be back soon.

We loved this place. Staff were super friendly. The food was delicious and in my opinion well priced. They have a great play area for kiddies both indoors and outdoors with a beautiful shadey garden.

Beautiful and peaceful environment to have a meal or just coffee. Good food leaning towards gourmet, but also kid friendly choices.Linger as long as you wish; seated under guava trees, in a large outdoor play area or by the duck pond. Theres also a play room with Lego, SPUR type jungle gym and reading corner.One of Wellingtons treasures where one can play traditional Boules or just relax in nature

Lovely place for families with small kids. So many options for play both indoors and out. Aircon too for those hot summer days.Food was good. Not great but good and fairly priced.

Great stay. Absolutely love this place. If you love luxury out of the citys busy life . This is the place. Come relax. Room service or take a relaxing stroll down to the stone kitchen for some great food wine and olives. They really do take car of you here. If you stay longer and want some variety w.r.t eating, there are other close by restaurants on farms as well.

It is remote, secluded, gorgeous views all round, and has unbeatable kiddies facilities for parents who’d like to enjoy a quiet meal. The food is good, prices are very reasonable.

We really enjoy every moment at this establishment. We were with the Wellington Wine Walk group and from the moment we arrive till we departure they give us all their attention. Will go back.

We were made to feel very unwelcome because we didnt have a booking. The place was empty but we could not have the table we wanted. Worst of all they have no idea how to make coffee..a cappuccino is not filter coffee with froth on top. Pretty place but they dont know what they are doing. How disappointing.

Peaceful and tranquile. The food and service was excellent, staff friendly and accommodating. The only issue was duvet was too hot,but that could be the case of hot flushes 😀

Most awesome holiday ever in Dunstones Guava Cottage - who could want for more, the cottage catered for our every need and the quick visits from the dogs and passing by of the pigs each day were added highlights. Cant wait to come again 😍😍😍

Its a very beautiful place, but in my opinion its too pricy. Theyve got it all to make it fantastic, but the service was poor during my stay here and there were small irritations like:-check in was 20 minutes late-the dstv in the room didnt work-the tv remote didnt work-Every time our neighbor opened the hot water tap our lights dimmed for a second-the soap dispenser was broken-service at the restaurant was very poor at breakfastMy stay was the night of 1 January, so it might be that the staff really just let them down.

The place has great views. The staff is very friendly. Look out for winter specials which includes Tea, Wine, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. 4 stars because the food was okay, not great.
