The cheesecake I got for my birthday from TuoTop was out of this world.

I was extremely disappointed this morning when I went to the Tip Top in river square (2021-03-14) I had asked for 3 x cream puffs 3 x cream canolies and 2 x the canolies with the chocolate on the rim. The lady working there started making calculations on her calculator (not the actual till) and kept going over and over the sum. Firstly if there were actual prices on the items I could easily know what I owe but I then got charged R123 which I asked her to double check the price, it then came to R78 which I was astounded how much I was originally being charged. I have no idea if the employees are adding extra cash for themselves as I was also not given a slip and when I asked for one the answer was that the till was broken. I understand the quality of these confectioneries are good but I feel like prices must be made known to the buyer and things should be more professional - in a time where finances are difficult when one wishes to treat their family to something nice I find it horrible to be over charged so easily because if I did not question her I would have been over charged by R45. I still dont know if R78 is the correct price but I am extremely disappointed in this bakery and will not be spending my hard earned money somewhere that takes advantage of its buyers.

Delicious baked goods served fresh each day. On your must-buy list should be: the fresh daily baked white buns, amazing chicken nuggets and the white chocolate pypies (thats what the receipt said 😁, not sure what the culinary name is). Inventory is limited is each day so make sure you go early to avoid disappointment.
