Location was amazing. Exterior, garden, pool all of that looked exquisite. Unfortunately there wasnt any tea, coffee, cups,kettle or toilet paper upon arrival. After requesting the toilet paper, I didnt get another one the following day until I asked. The hosts really did try though, and I hope they will improve the services offered.

GREAT place to stay, just outside of town. Nice and peaceful, gives you the feeling of being on a lodge on the bushveld. Very very nice bedrooms, and fantastic staff ALWAYS ready to help. Definitely worth recommending to ANYBODY

Conveniently located at the right distance from the city..a beautiful landscape and spacious rooms. Hank was very hospitable and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Well definitely visit again soon🍾

The rooms are clean and the location is on point and secluded. Great for relaxation, peace and quiet. The staff is very friendly and it is very secure. It would be nice to have TV in some of the rooms. I had a lovely the here with my family

I was booked to stay in this guest house for two days, check in 11 out 13 June 2019. I couldnt spend not even one night. The attitude of the person who was assisting me was more stinking than the room that I was told to sleep in. Smelling of cigarette, when I asked for the room spray I was given vinegar. When I asked if there was any other room available I was told this is not a hotel if I am not happy I should leave, his father is sick he doesnt need all of this 😢. A simple apology could have been enough you know. I could have slept hoping they would clean and spray the next day. Thanks to Hotel@tzaneen for being able to accommodate me at such short notice and they were very disappointed at how Palmweg guest house had treated me.

Beautiful view and birds to watch. Nice atmosphere for a friendly gathering for dinner while the owner braai. No dstv. Some rooms dont have a tv. Wifi signal is strong.

Power went off when we were here, but the host was very friendly. The stay was still lovely.

Upon arrival - (after 6hours on the road) we arrived at Palmwag where we found out that our family room that we booked and paid for were given to another family. No appologies, we were told to wait outside so they can get a room reddy for us.The room: an old lapa converted into partly a family room and partly a kitchen. You could see the conversion wasnt done by professional people. There was no door infront of bathroom and shower. Shower didnt work propetly - very low water pressure if any.The tile made a hollow sound if you walk on it, some toles were loose. Only one electricity point, with overloaded connection power plug.Cleaniness: spiderwebs and dust everywhere. Miniature dustbin in room.No television in room, even though we were told we will get one in our room.Service, there were no service.The pictures on the website is misleading, this place is a total ripoff. Building inspectors would have never approved such a construction/concoction?
