Small branch, food was better than many other spur branches though, service was 10/10. The overall vibe was nice as well. I would definitely go there again.

Spur is not my favourite chain restaurant to be honest. However, this one is not bad. Coffee is good and the breakfast is made perfectly. Eat here twice a month and the consistency has been rather spot on. The staff is a bit too informal and they could really do with some training in regards of how to act in a restaurant. They stand outside in the front and joke and laugh around. Normally I dont mind this however if Im stuggling to hear a conversation at the other end of the restaurant due to the laughter then it is a problem. The dress codes are also not adhered as we have different waiters every time we come, so no consistency there, and the ones that do help us looked as if they crawed out of a unwashed un straightened laundry basket. Now this is not an upperclass establishment, however a little pride in ones appearance goes a long way.

Really good food and its probably one of the only restaurants in Stellies without hordes of students infecting the place.Definitely go in the early evening before 18:00 to enjoy the really good sunset views out of the glass windows.All in all I would give it five stars but we had to wait a bit for our food so thats really the only negative experience I had.

The service wasnt 100% because our waiter wasnt the best. He kept looking at us like we were crazy people after ordering and only afterwards writing down what we wanted. The food was great, I had for the first time rump steak. The R89 special, but from what I had i wouldnt recommend rump. I asked for well done, but still got some pink in the meat and a lot of fat.

I am very disappointed. We arrived at 20:00 and the staff told us that the restaurant is closed. It is very strange, because on your website it states that you close at 21:00. Service is very bad. There was a hair baked into the batter of my chicken and the manager had the audacity to tell me it was a mushroom hair and then asked if they can replace it for me. I just find it so insincere.I have been here before, but I think Ive had my final visit.Im disgusted. It is almost like theyre doing us a favour.We are 9 in our group today.

Watron Busiswa took forever to bring everything started from food to returns. Food braught cold, when returned for warming came back burned.

Calamari was good untill i found a piece of chicken instead of calamari waitress didnt want to take it back.

It was honestly a horrible experience and I would not recommend anyone to go there. The one lady that took us to our table did not even offer us any hand sanitizer upon entry, neither did she greet us or tell us someone would be with us when she told us to go find a table. The supposed waiter, Ntombi, just brought the unsanitazed menus from another table nearby who were about to leave and then she left without a word. We left cause she didnt return after almost 10 minutes and when she did, she still said nothing. We drove to Spur at Cape Gate and it was the exact opposite.

Not being rude or what ,seems there are trainees now coz since I stayed in stellenbosch and visting spur I never had any complain, today was at spur for 2 take aways the waiter was very friendly. While I was at home thats when I realised the burger meat was RAW, and the other rib burger was burnt and smelling of burnt with no flavour. It was the worst day for us . Thank you( and the other thing I was told its a cheese burger when I get home the cheese was nowhere to be found

Very good service. A group of three of us had 20min to spare and asked the waitress if she thought we could get our lunch in that time, she said shed make it happen. She was excellent and got our food to us in just over 10min so that we were in and out in about 25min and we could make it on time for a wedding! Well done!

It was great food. Lovely play corner for my grand child. Thank you Spur for providing a staff member to take care of my grand child while we were having our meal.

The food was cold. The toast was paper thin and brittle. It shattered across the restaurant. The cappuccino was more of a latte. Other patrons also complained about the toast and cappuccino’s.

Friendly service. Pretty fast considering they were busy. Sometimes not that fresh though.Absolutely love their spicy wings.

After being seated we waited about 15-20 minutes for someone to take out drink order. Take note spur was not busy at all,many open tables and waiters watching TV. Twice people sat and not long after got up and left...Arizona Spur will have to up their game in in food quality and freshness too. The other Spur in town has such a better flow of things and helpful friendly staff with amazing food...

Affordable restaurant.

Food was fine but I find it very strange that they have no toilet facilities. Had to go to parking area which looked disastrous and felt very uncomfortable and not safe walking that way. Manager just shrugged her shoulders. Wont recommend anybody to go there.

Just ordered a few items from Mr D from this Spur, the meal we received tonight compelled me to give the team a bit of feedback!Absolutely the Best spur meal I have ever eaten!The Ribs were simply perfection..All the other items including wings and crumbled mushrooms all brilliantly prepared.Only problem we had was that we regretted not order more.30 years a customer and tonight I ate my best.Thank you keep up the great work!!!

I think Spur have lost their recipes. I ordered spareribs and I must say, it was not up to standard. Ive had better. It was very dry with some sauce spread over it.

No aircon could be felt. The place has many different smells. The staff happy conversed at the high volume over the charter of the customers making it very noisy. The toilets are some distance away in the car park. Our waiter was very distracted by everything going on in the restaurant. The food was ok, but no finger bowls or wet wipes were served with the chicken wings or nachos. We wont go back.

Was in Stellenbosch very early and the manager was kind enough to allow me to work there while I waited for the business day to start. They even arranged for coffee even though it was at least 30min before openong-up time. I managed to get at least an hours work done. Tx Arizona Spur.

Beware of Parking problems . The biggest is having to pay qith a credit card! The Spur is good value but I was suppried to see the number of vacant tables why !

No one to greet on arrival. Waited 6mins before anyone offered any assistance. Finally seated but then forgotten about again. Waited 15mins at our dirty table before we had to go find someone to help us. Shameful service😔

The first time I have been back at a spur in two years and honestly it was very disappointing.The service was below average, always had to wait to be served. The checkups were few and far between.When the food arrived, everything was cold and one of the burgers had no buns.We had to call the manager twice to fix the problems, but she was very friendly and helped us straight away.Wont be coming back, but the manager made the dinner bearable.
