Wow! This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend recently so we popped in tonight for a quick dinner...Very surprised! What big portion size pizzas and not expensive at all. Value for money.Its no wonder the restaurant is doing so well and the pizzas are good too.Friendly and good service by the staff.

Decent pizzas. The quality of the pastas, on the other hand, is seriously lacking. Ordered a seafood pasta, which supposedly included salmon. No salmon whatsoever. Just chewy, frozen seafood chunks.

Having been going to Ginos Robertsham for many years, I was delighted to go to Ginos in Stellenbosch and experienced the same amazing food and homely atmosphere. A bit far for us but definately worth the drive. Cant wait for my next fix!

Ordered a take away pizza, and as can seen on the second photo thats all the cheese that came from the small pizza. Never experienced something like this from Ginos before.

We had takeaway ribs and chips. Very tasty and the portions are very reasonable. Will definitely refer people to you. The staff is very lovely. Nice place 👌

A great pizza house with a great noisy atmosphere. Extremely popular with students and families. Pizzas are great and portions are large. Reasonable prices. Other dishes available as well. Licenced to sell alcohol. Parking can be a problem unless tou arrive early.

The food never disappoint as always... Service on the other hand was rather frustrating as despite the curfew restrictions and limited time to order and eat, we had to chase after our waitron. She promptly attended to us once we sat down at the table and served us our drinks however, she then disappeared and it was pretty much the same the rest of the evening until it was time for last orders when she came to take any dessert orders.

Really good Italian food at decent prices.Authentic Italian restaurant with such a simple concept. You sit outside and order your food, but the really good food and the vibe of the place is something different in its own.They service really good pizzas, pastas and even calzones.I would definitely recommend this place, but a heads-up, be sure to book a spot in advance or go early as they are always packed full of people.

Ginos has a fantastic family atmosphere inside. The artwork displayed on the walls adds a nice italian touch. Its cool that you can see the chefs make your pizza. The waiters were nice. The waiting time was minimal. The pizzas were outstanding.

They are extremely busy, so you might want to go early to get a table, as they do not take any reservations. Their staff is friendly and the service is great.

Affordable beer. Nice hall to watch sport events together.

Great venue but pizzas are not. The thin base is not just thin but floppy. Sort this out and youll get more stars. Also, get more types of beers like IPAs. No excuse not doing it in Stellenbosch where there are so many great craft beer breweries.

Place is buzzing on a Saturday afternoon to the evening. It was a Springbok afternoon so the atmosphere was great. The service was very good considering the amount of people there. The pizza was fantastic. I can go back anytime

Ive been visiting Ginos for as long as I can remember, its a great family restaurant with a welcoming vibe and delicious food. I recommend the chocolate milkshake. Reasonable prices too.

Ginos is a no frills Italian gem. Heart food and big portions are offered here at a very good price. Salad was fresh and pizza was delicious! Service is not super quick but it doesnt matter as the atmosphere makes up for it. Also they empower students which I thought was awesome.

Very vibrant atmosphere. Best Pizzas in Stellenbosch (actually even beyond). Authentic Wood-fire Pizza on par with Italian styled places like ColCacchios. Atmosphere is similar to a Spur or Dros. Students and family. Expect to pay R150/pp for Leka pizza and drinks. Dont skim on the tips! Staff is super friendly.

After reading the reviews, we decided to take a 1 hour drive and to try this place out as its called the best pizza. The waitress took our order for calzone and veg pizza and said it will not take more than 30minutes. We waited and waited and waited. They didnt even bother to come and to say how long it will take more. Then after 55 minutes pizza finally arrived. You guys should warn the customers that they should be ready to wait for almost an hour for a pizza (!). Ok the excuse might be that the place is so busy thus the delay but then, to say that its the worst calzone i have ever had in my life is to say nothing. The ingredients taste so cheap as if they just took the leftovers and placed them inside pizza. I just ate half of it cause i was so hungry. The waitrons do not bother to come and check how is the food. I understand that the place is crowdy, but that doesnt mean you sacrifice the quality. The level of restaurants in Cape is usually quite decent and I rate them good. Maybe it was a bad luck but it was just such a disappointment after reading positive reviews. I am sorry to hear its the best pizza in Cape Town.. i have tried much better.

Very good service. Had a pizza which was served on time and was great. My girlfriend and I were served by such a friendly waitress, Bulela. The manager was also accommodating and a good host.
