I have unfortunately had to visit Bloch & Partners several times due to its location and where my doctors referral note has sent me. For a healthcare service, all they seem to care about is money. From the moment you walk in it is about how you are going to pay and not what service you need. This has been my feeling every single time I have been here over the years. I recently had a MRI at another radiology centre (Sulman & Partners) and the difference in service is chalk and cheese. They were friendly, helpful, kind. I never write reviews but I felt I had to about this.
Bad service delivery
I attended the radiology practice for some routine tests and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It was a busy day and but I never felt neglected. The Mammography staff was excellent!
Phoned the number to book an appointment for X-rays. They first asked what my medical aid was and transferred me to someone that could help me. Someone very rude answered and said I had to phone X-rays directly and not accounts. very unprofessional. If the number provided online is not for X-rays, why advertise it like that, specify that it is for accounts only and dont be so rude with potential customers.
Friendly helpfull staff and Doctors. Free WiFi while you wait.
They were fast and efficient
I was terrified of doing a ct scan and the lady who helped me was so kind and understanding. I was admanat I wasnt going to fit in the donut but she got me there lol. I didnt get her name(I think might be Vanisha) but Im really grateful to both her and the accounts lady.
I have been goiing to Sandton Radiology for many years for Mammograms, and have them done every year in October during breast cancer awareness month.I had an appointment booked for 13h00, and was then called to say there was a cancellation at 12pm, and would I prefer that time. Needless to say I took it.I arrived at the Radiology department at 12pm sharp, and after filling in forms (that I fill in every time I go there - you would think everything is on the system by now), I finally went through to have my mammogram at 12h20. This was quick, and finished by 12h30. I was then told to wait for the Ultra sound. After waiting until 13h20, nearly an hour later, I finally gave up waiting an left.I am a contractor who gets paid per hour, or part thereof. So, from the time I left my office and returned, I had lost 2 hours of income.I fail to understand why doctors, specialists, radiology, etc. think that there time is more important than mine. If I have a meeting with a client at 12pm, I damn well make sure that I am on time and dont keep them waiting.Needless to say that I have not had the Ultra Sound done, which means my examination is incomplete, which means I will not get my 2500 vitality points from Discovery - and Ive still lost out on income. Is Sandton Radiology going to reimburse me for my time and money that I have lost due to inefficiency on their part?I am bitterly disappointed to say the least. Especially since I made this appointment a long time ago.
The nurse Karen at the Petscan very rude and sarcastic.!! Wont recommend to any of my patients to go here.
They claimed from my medical aid even though we’ve already paid the account - twice!! And just kept the money. Unethical and deceitful. Do not use these people!
In and out in under an hour!
