They also fix Laptops and Apple computers.When I wanted to trade in my MacBook Pro they gave me the best price beating the competition and I did not have to book an appointment.You can buy new, demo and used devices.This includes Apple, HP, Dell and Lenovo.The best part is they sell the MacBook with the US keyboard inseat of European style keyboard and they can get you a customer Apple device not sold anywhere else. For example they once had a 16inch Macbook Pro with 4TB storage and 64GB Ram.They also sometimes sell Google Pixel phone and they once had the Samsung Galaxy S21 with a Snapdragon chip (processor), (reserved only for US market) instead of the Exynos processor.The service from the staff is truely out standing.They do not open on weekends.

I have bought an iMac... then a few months later an iPad... and most recently an iPhone through the Macshack. And every single time i have been blown away by the service and the pricing. I dont need any more devices, but i will make a plan to break something just to return to these guys... amazing.

Sold me a locked iPad and wasnt in the least bit apologetic. The manager reached out after the fact which was appreciated, but staff need to learn soft skills and basic customer experience management.

If your thinking of getting your Mac fixed here do it!!!I brought mine to them with a cracked screen on a Friday morning and on Monday morning the repairs were completed (thats a 2 day turn around time). Pretty impressive!Overall good and efficient service at a reasonable price compared to you know who...(probably best to insure if you using expensive Tech lesson learned).I wouldve given them 5 stars had i gotten a smile during my interactions at the store even with a mask on people can tell when your not smiling. I like to feel reassured when spending a lot of money. :-)

I initially purchased a macbook air from Mac Shack, although I had some issues with the laptop I found that Mac Shack were quick and professional to sort it out. I think it is when things go wrong that you can see how well a company responds to fix the issues and in this case Mac Shack surpassed my expectations. I would definitely recommend their services!

My customer experience at Macshack was one of the best I have ever had. Lourens was professional, helpful and friendly. He only sold me what I needed and he gave me very good advice and prices. From walking in with a liquid damaged Mac to leaving with a cloned hard drive, a fully set up new Mac, a damage report for insurance took only a few hours! A delighted customer indeed!

I bought a used iMac from the Mac Shack and wanted to wait about a month before leaving a review. I have to say, I am very happy with my purchase! They are an awesome store with friendly and professional staff and you should definitely check whats on offer there before you purchase anything brand new from a retailer, you will save a lot.

My personal experience...I bought a Mac here (21-05-2020) with a faulty battery because it randomly switches off when I work on it and requires me to plug the charger all the time for me to keep it on. I was not told of this problem when I made the purchase, otherwise I wouldnt have bought it. When I went to the shop to tell them the staff (Indian guy) was rude, inconsiderate and indifferent to my deadlines and simply told me to drop it so they can book it to check and provided me with no alternative in the meantime. I decided to keep the laptop just so I push my deadline and I shall return it to the shop to be checked out (without knowing how long it may take).

The best they have the best deals on iPhone products

Received incredible and speedy service from My Apple Guru. They assessed my bust iPhone while I waited (15 min) and got me a report an hour later for my insurance. Their prices are very competitive so I chose to replace my phone here too. So glad to have found this little gem of a store, with hands on management and tech support.

Update Final. Resolved the issue with a credit exchange. No discount or compensation for the inconvenience was given but it was fair.update( We have now had some joy in a response to resolve in a fair manner. However the 1 star review has not been taken with out backlash. It sucks that review is needed to get a response as no response is a response.There is a returns policy which allows for returns in 7 days. We brought it back and where given incorrect advise on heat allowances. The machine subsequently crashed and burnt. It is certainly no-longer fit for purpose and we are expecting a full refund as CPA rights provide for. In which case this review will change. Holding thumbs Mac shack agrees )- We bought a machine, It ran hot. We contacted them back. Answer was its fine and normal, Machine then crashed and burnt its grafics card and Board. Response = 0. There is no returns policy

Bought an iMac late last year and its still in good working condition.Good customer service but poor packaging. My iMac was just wrapt in bobble wrap, so the unboxing experience was a bit disappointing.However that is just a little thing, the actual product was in a good working condition!Edit*1 year later, my Imac is still as good as new. Zero issue!

The best pre-owned Apple products you will find! Mac Shack has great service. They are very fast and efficient. Lourens from Mac Shack in Centurion was very helpful and he stayed in communication with us the through the whole process.

Received my product in under 24 hours (even though I selected the cheaper 2-3 business day option). One of the items was faulty but Dersigan handled the situation perfectly. A replacement was sent to me immediately and was on my desk within a few hours of me reporting the issue. I also received regular phone calls with feedback.Issues happen and sometimes a faulty product can slip through the cracks. The manner in which a business addresses these issues can make all the difference.

Buying pre-owned stuff is stressful at the best of times, but the folks at Mac Shack made it so easy. :)Im crazy particular when I buy anything, especially tech, so read on if you want details.I’m a digital artist who was looking for an affordable replacement for my old Sony Vaio workhorse.Last year (2018) I contacted Mac Shack (then My Apple Guru) and they were so friendly, even calling me on the phone to help me out! However, I decided not to buy from them just yet because of budgetary reasons.So when I saved up enough this year, I knew where to go!I bought a Pre-Owned 2015 MacBook Pro from Mac Shack (I dealt mainly with the Centurion branch, but the laptop was from the Joburg branch). Within 2 weeks they tracked down the exact model/specs I wanted (I was VERY specific), and they answered my barrage of questions both via email and phone calls, setting my mind completely at ease before my big purchase.The MacBook arrived in the same condition as described online. They said the condition was Excellent, despite light scratches on the base and they were right! This laptop almost looks new, and for interests sake I checked the battery cycle count, which clocked in at about 280. This is a good indicator that the laptop was either kept safely in one place most days, or that it wasnt used a lot; this further supports the Excellent condition description and justifies the price. Points for honesty there!After-sales service was also amazing, as they checked in with me to make sure I was happy with my laptop.Something else I’d like to mention, even though it’s a little random — I’m a clean freak, so when I buy secondhand goods, I clean them as soon as I’ve tested them. I collect vintage tech and I’ve seen some gruesome dirt and grime in my life. Even the cleanest-looking device will shed hand-grease residue onto a cleaning cloth. However, the MacBook I got from Mac Shack defied my expectations! I wiped and wiped and wiped it all over, and absolutely NO residue came off onto my cloth! So this laptop was thoroughly cleaned before it reached me, saving me some cleaning man hours. (Thanks, Mac Shack!)And yes, Im typing this on the MacBook I bought. Very happy customer! :)

Hi Mac Shack, please can you help me out.My computer was stolen from my home and purchased by MacShack store in Bryanston. I was then told that the only way that they can identify if a device isn’t stolen is if the alert is placed or the device is flagged at Apple. Is this correct? Surely there should be a process to identity if this device is stolen, especially if it’s still connected to my iCloud account?Is it standard practice to hack a computer (without contacting the registered owner) and clear it of all contents even though the seller/thief couldn’t access it???Coincidently Macshack said now that they’ve had a robbery and my laptop was stolen from them...again, so technically my device has been stolen twice in a week!?I would ideally want my Mac back but also it concerns me that this is far too easy for thieves to steal and resell your products. Added to that, Firstly, even though my laptop wasn’t flagged, it was brought in by a person who could not unlock it, who did not have the password and yet that isn’t seen as a concern, how?!?!Secondly, the store Macshack then unlocked my laptop somehow, and noticed that it was still full of all my information, all the pictures of my children and our family, and then they wiped all of this off? Why would I sell my laptop with all my information on it?Thirdly, now they say that they have all the information of the thief/seller, such as video footage and the name and ID book of the person that they bought the laptop from, but will not give it to me, as to protect the thief’s privacy, surely this information should be available to me?Please can someone assist me in this matter URGENTLY!
