I had such a great experience in ARC sandton city, was assisted by a friendly gent called Sifiso and he gave me a free gaultier weekend bag for my purchase of the jean paul scandal by night and boss femme perfumes. Reminded me of sephora. They have high end brands like huda beauty (the only shop with huda beauty in sa) and By Killian and Amouge and the Salvatore Ferragamo privee. Love this store.

The first time I visited this store it was alive and vibrant (at the launch), however my following 3/4 visits have seen a decline each time I have visited in terms of service, stock and the overall look of the store.The shelves have not been restocked since the launch it seems, and every thing is bare and empty. (not talking about the samples they have hidden due to covid but the actual stock.) The service is no longer as preppy as it was on its first day and staff are still confused 3/4 weeks in from the opening of the store as to how the till system works and daily operation.Staff also do not heed the bag colour choice of no thanks I do not need help and yes please I do need help and will come and talk to you if you are touching products despite the bag you hold, and not in a very helpful manner but more in a manner of just so you know I can see you are touching things, I am watching you so do not steal. This idea was good but is a dud if staff cannot carry through.In collaboration with clicks, you can earn points with this store I believe however I have made quite a few large purchases from this store and have not received any points. This system is broken or nonexistent maybe? Even though I have swiped my card here every time I visited.The overall experience could be much greater with the owner trying to mimic the experience of Sephora, however I do not see this store lasting long with the considerable decline I have witnessed personally (even with customer foot traffic) unless the store becomes more properly managed in all aspects.I really wanted this store to work out and hopefully it will improve soon.

ARC is a young vibrant multibranded cosmetics store with a very individual nature. Its unlike any of the more traditional department store offerings in Sandton. Aside from the usual brands you would expect to see, it also has niche and indi brand offerings. There is a huge fragrance collection, color and skincare zones with a private treatment room. Well worth a visit
