The service was great, Thembi waited on us. The food was just fair, left a lot to be desired. A little bland for my tasting. It was a pleasant change to be able to swap potato fries for sweet potato fries. The chickpea and butternut salad was nice. Not the fairest M&B but all in all a fair enough experience.

Yeah, Im neither here nor there with M&G. I literally only like their coffee. Food is ok, but I find it a bit bland. Had a muffin which was waaaaaaay too sweet, tasted like a cupcake with sugar glazing. Location is ok I guess, but your view is a parking lot.

Always enjoy a good breakfast here. Love the cappuccinos. Get a table early on weekends as it tends to get full quickly.

My first cup of coffee was ice cold even though I received hot milk. I ordered Nachos. What a let down!!! The nachos was soggy and the garnish wilted. The cheese looked as if it was not melted in an oven. Shocking!!! I told the waitress it was unappetizing. She just took it away. No apology!!!

M&B Cambridge Shopping Centre is disappointing to say the least. Stale Croissants that are warmed up for R80. That will be the last time you see me. The manager still argues that they are fresh and made today when the baker said she made them the day before. I took my money and went to Woolies, R12.99 each and FRESH

Friendly staff with great food!

I actually think you do not deserve even a single star. I ordered a slice of chocolate cake and a muffin for delivery. The cake was verging on stale and your slices have shrunk quite badly! I ordered a choc chip muffin and received a plain one one that was underbaked and stodgy - never again guys!

Poor uber eats service. Working in office, no cutlery, serviettes or anything due to COVID; so I specified that the order must come with this. Nothing was provided, no salt, no cutlery. your number does not go through. I asked for medium eggs and I got runny eggs; seriously annoying.

Ive never really been a fan of the Mugg and Bean chain but I was pleasantly surprised on this visit. Their menu has changed somewhat and their food was really good. There are a fair amount of healthy options and the portion sizes seem to be just the right amount. Presentation of most dishes is also top notch and I will have no problem going back for another meal at some stage.

Fast and friendly service and of course their breakfast is always just YUMMY.

Great restaurant in the newly renovated shopping centre. I ordered a vegan sandwich as per the menu; however, when I received the sandwich, it came with a salad containing feta cheese. After pointing this out the waitress took it away and brought me the correct meal.A suggestion is to train the chefs and waitresses about the new vegan menu so they understand exactly what it means and what to look out for.

The Cali omelette was amazeballs, so fresh and yummy. Took over 40min to get our food but understandable as we were dining at peak times ( Saturday morning breakfast). Bright our sister was polite but a little flustered. Lovely morning spent all around. Thanks guys🌸

Best advice dont go there, dont order to collect or deliver, dont even try, they burn toast, their tomatoes are shocking, they pack miserable food, presentation class was certainly missed here, Ive ordered the Big Ben on 4 occasions with staff ordering as well, the egg is always wrong and they always both different, yet its the same meal, this place needs a serious wake up call, their MUFFINS ARE TO DIE FOR THOUGH THAT BAKING LADY WHOSE LIGHT IN COMPLEXION MY GAWD CAN SHE BAKE, they must improve though overall on presentation and stop burning food. Ive returned all the food back on all occasions and got the correct thing but the admin of going up and down is unnecessary only business they get from me is muffins.

This is the worst place ever. I ordered breakfast through Uber Eats for R167.64. Only a leaking hot chocolate was delivered. Like honestly who does that. I am so disappointed, you really need to improve your service.

Had a meeting with a colleague at 9am. We were served coffee promptly, however, the Kitchen was so slow. It took 40 minutes for a simple Cheese Omelette and Egg Benedict. However, my omelette was served like a slab of rubber. I expressly asked for soft, in fact, under done. It was returned to the Kitchen and a replacement was given, almost exactly the same. Admittedly, the new Manager deducted this from the bill. This is not really satisfactory and it will be a long time before I return. The previous owner, really looked after their customers.

One of my favourite places, yummy cheesecake & delicious food. I have also the side plate of chicken breasts and a side plate of sweet potato chips.

This is on behalf of my colleague as the delivery service was horrid. When placing the order the employee was in a rush and did not get the correct details as it is standard to repeat the order and ensure the number is correct. We waited over an hour to follow up and when we called them back the employee started to shout when they had the incorrect details. They believed they had the correct details. The delivery man arrived and we saw that the name and cell phone number was incorrect. In my experience all places ensure they take down the correct details.

Food good service ok. A bit overpriced

The quality of food use to be better under the previous managers. The descriptions on the menu do not accurately translate to what you end up being served (i.e. Alabama chicken made with chicken breasts, but you are served chicken a small portion of chicken strips that hardly makes up two breasts) The service is friendly and fairly fast but the reason for rating it a 2 is because of the exorbitant prices and small portions with deceptive descriptions.

We went to this Mugg and Bean on a public holiday, for brunch. It was packed, with a queue of people waiting for tables.The service was slow. Meals sounded delicious from their write-up on the menu, however when our meal arrived it looked disappointing (and not that appetising) in comparison.The manager was visible and assisting where she could, but told us she was standing in - as it was a public holiday - and couldn’t really help us with our questions.A very nice space, but I won’t be rushing back... Not sure if the public holiday and number of patrons had anything to do with their service and quality.

The curry dish was beyond amazing!

Rumor has it, they have the best coffee of all the mugnbeans. 😏Staff are awesome and friendly, its out of the way and they have enough seating for everybody. Nearby shops have everything you need and easy access to the freeway.. So what im saying is...This spot is great for meetings, chats, shopping and comfortable to sit at year round. Food is always well done and the manager greets every single person who visits. 10/10

Quality of meal and beverage was low compared to the average Mugg&Bean. Staff were friendly but werent always visibility or popped in to check if all was good.

Great coffee and service

Ive had dissapointing take away food and drinks on a few occasions. Wont be going there again. They did not have fresh muffins at 7:45am today. Bought yesterdays muffins but its like a brick. Cant use my Discovery loyalty points ever as that service is always offline at this branch. I love the M & B franchise but thise franchise does not do your brand any favours sadly.
