I have been in process with the New Car sales team because I intend to buy a New Car in 2019 and I have had enquries about many concerns that I have had regarding the purchase, specs ect... and I have to say that each and everytime I have called (sometimes more than once) or when I have come in I have always been assisted in the most FRIENDLY, KIND, HOSPITABLE AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER EVERYTIME I have come in on frequent occasions or when I have phoned requesting to speak to my consultant. The car was covered with a black cloth with a blue bow and he made a speech in congratulating me on my purchase that I had finally achieved since 2016/2017. A video was made of this presentation and it was put on Facebook. A video was also made of me as I was leaving the dealership. I was also given a Barons Woodmead togbag and a VW cap. I rate my sales representative Thomas Ramakonya 5/5 ***** I must say that this car has unbelievable turbo performance for the 1.0 engine size that it has. One would not think that a car like this can perform the way it does. I am very impressed what I ordered and bought. These are really awesome cars especially the Comfortline 1.0. TSI that I purchased.

Took my Polo in for a major service. I had a great Customer Liason lady - she was lovely, super professional. My car was ready ahead of the scheduled time, my invoice was exactly as advised earlier on the phone - no nasty last minute shocks. My car was washed and cleaned. Overall, I would use them again without hesitation ( and I hate anything to do with my car.....!!!)
This is the worst dealership ever I bought my first car here brand new polo vivo out of the box and the treatment I received was shocking. They just gave me documents to sign and my keys and told me to leave. The car did not even have a bow, no thank you gift, not even a personal thank you. It was my first car It was so rushed I never even took a photo I was done in 5 minutes I will never set foot there again. The dealer who supposedly assisted me is Anton

Well vw says your car will be ready for collection at 16.15 when u go there u have to still wait for car and invoice etc only leaving at 5pm .cant they call u when your car is outside and just pay and go.time is money be professional we pay for service u dont pay us for our time.

Extremely bad service from received from the BaronsWoodmeadSent my VW polo in for a service at VW Barons Woodmead due to a problem with the radiator, radiator was replaced and after a month the new radiator malfunctioned.I proceeded to take my car to a different VW branch to have the car inspected and upon investigation it was found that during the first service at VW Barons Woodmead the radiator was not replaced or repaired.Reported the issue to VW South Africa as VW Barons Woodmead would not fix or acknowledge the issue.extremely disappointed with the service received from VW Barons woodmead especially the Branch Manager or Service Manager (Tony) and service consultant (Shanaaz).i would not recommend that you use this branch for servicing your vehicle as they are extremely unprofessional and their services are extremely bad quality

Experienced the same issue with my car about 6 times on different occasions! Each time a wire was to blame. Still experiencing the issue outside of warranty. Then got quotes R19 000 for a repair that I got fixed for R900 elsewhere! Seems every time I took my car there I ended up having issues! I now take my car to a different VW

So upset. Applied for a car, got approved the same day, deal just needed to go in for validation. Next morning I get a call to tell me my interests rate and installment amount. I tell them Ill take the car. I will sell my car and use that as a diposit. I go to the dealership later on after selling my car. To find out they have sold my car to the next easier customer that had a cash deal. Im sorry but this is not how you do business and I didnt even receive a phone call to offer me first right of refusal as I was the first applicant in line. Then I speak to the manager and all I get is an appology. I ask for the dealer principals details and I get asked why do you want them sir. He is not going to change anything. Are you just wanting to complain?
Excellent service & friendly staff.
My experience has not been good at all. After our vehicle had been for a service the week before, it started to misfire and when I took it back, Barons quoted for injectors and ignition leads and plugs, to the tune of R13 700. I declined the repair and took it to the local E- Car where it was diagnosed and repaired with a failed spark plug lead. I had all 4 leads changed and 4 new plugs. The car is 100% now and the bill was less than 2000. Shame on you Barons.... never again!!

Worst service ever! My car went in for service and came out with no aircorn as they had to disconnect it because apparently the fan in my car was faulty (making a noise according to them). This was not the case when I took it in. Furthermore, my car didnt have issues with starting and now it makes some screeching noise and then starts. Deeply unhappy. Giving them one start is too much. They deserve a zero!

Not impresed at all with the service at Barons Woodmead. My car is usualy serviced by them but in October 2017 i took the car for a EPC light poping on the Dash cousing the car to loose power & stall at timesTook the car in and i was told its a batory, later the same day i was told its Trottle body, authorised all to be changed and paid over R10kAfter a month EPC poped again, took it back and i was told its a faulty MAC sensor and it was reseted and the car only drove for a week & EPC showed up againTook the car back Wed this week....they stil trying to figure out the problem, i wonder if they realy know what they are doingSince then i am told different things...now m using taxis as they stil trying to figure how to milk more money from me. I had to cancel my Holiday trip to EC as i do not have a car.

Awful, bad , very bad , extremely bad , every single time my car goes in for a simple service it comes back with more faults , a full list of problems, and then when I take it to a family member ( vw expert as well as Audi , worked for vw all his life and is a vw qualified master ) no fault is detected, this has happened 3 times now , you guys also dont want to claim from my warranty for some stupid reason , never in my life will I ever set foot in your branch , absolutely a money making sceme which I will not fall for , you also overcharged me for everything thats wrong with my car , meanwhile it will cost me nothing coz theres nothing wrong , and today I received it from you guys for the last time , and I still have the receipt for my purchase , now my battery is not working , its a disgrace, thanks
