Atmosphere is vibey. Good music played by peoples request. Staff was very nice. No smoking area so wouldnt reccomend if you have allergies but overall, fun time. Could also add some bar snacks that are a little cheaper.

Went to meet up with some friends last night for a friendly game of pool. Was very disappointed and concerned when I left there.Upon arrival we where neither screened nor asked to sanitise our hands.I preferred to keep my mask on my face for the duration of my stay and only removed it when I was taking a sip of my drink.Easily 90% of people who where playing pool, where not wearing masks, and there were a few staff members also, especially the 2 x bartenders.Worse part of the night was when a 20-something year old, very much intoxicated lady, approached me and asked why I am so “extra” and “over the top” be wearing my mask inside...Overall, a very concerning and unpleasant experience.Our first and also last visit to this venue, which in my opinion, could be regarded as a spreading ground for Covid.

I had an amazing experience at Ballbreakers Fourways. The music is an upbeat vibe as well as the atmosphere. Service at the bar is usually quick and the staff are friendly as well as helpful. The pool tables are in decent condition. Its a middle to upper-class establishment with reasonable prices. R50 deposit required to play pool and R5 a token. All and all 8/10.

What can you say of this pool hall. It is dirty and smelly and not a nice place to play pool in. Maybe a good spot for late night drinkers and not serious pool players. It is in an upmarket area, however the toilets are always dirty and the place need a spring clean and smell better. Then it will draw hopefully a good crowd.

Could do with better extraction of the smokey, cigarette smell in the venue.Overall an okay place to play pool and chill for a while.

Great place for playing Pool with friends. The Juke Box has some great hits and you pay about R4 to get a credit to play 1 song. I gave it 4 stars because their cigarette machine did not have Stuyvesant. Otherwise this is a fantastic place to watch soccer in while friends play.

Would be nice to see them serve some small pub baskets or simple foods. Otherwise not a bad vibe. Tables and cues are old and need revamping.

Great pub with set out pool tables, people play there professionally and not. Good beer and prices on most alcohol. Security is reasonable if people get out of hand they are quick to respond. Theres a jukebox to choose music from and they often play sport or music videos on the TVs in the pub and it is central to other places to party and spend time with family, loved ones and friends

After months on lockdown I decided to go passed have a drink and was chased of by the big fat bouncer apparantly because I dont tip him R50 lol......Tip for what because he sprayed sanitizer on my hand. This same thing happened previously by Elton the bar tender saying my tip of R6 some change was not good enough. Last time I visit this establishment.

One of my best pool club experiences in recent memory. There were a few pool tables out of order when I visited which meant waiting some time to find an open table. It also was extremely hot if you weren’t near a fan.

Ballbreakers in Fourways is a snooker and billiards pool chain across South Africa. The one in fourways is one of the biggest with tables on both sides of the entrance. The game play is only R5 for a game and you can buy as many coins as you want. You can order drinks from soft to hard at the counter. You have to put your car keys as a pawn till you pay back the money on tap at the end of the day after the games. You dont have to do it if paying for drinks as and when required. Its a great place to meet new people and show your snooker skills. There is an awesome vibe on Friday and Saturday nights where people challenge each other for games. Thanks

This place used to be a favorite, however, it has gone downhill. We went there last night for the first time in years again and had a horrible experience. The staff are rude and the place just looks run down and dirty. I had to use the ladies room and went into the kitchen entrance (which is next to the gents room) by accident, one lady who works there pulled me aggressively by my arm and told me Im not supposed to go there... She could have easily just told me, but she felt the need to physically pull me by my arm? The bathrooms didnt have any soap either. We stayed for one drink and left. Will not be going back there again.

Great service, great vibes and a good place for a decent night out with your mates.The staff are always friendly and helpful, from the security to the barmen. Nobody had to wait for any amount of time to be served drinks even when the bar seemed to be super busy. Place is clean, tables well kept and music varies, depending on what the patrons decide is going on. All in all a good place to kick back and shoot some pool.

The place has seriously gone down hill. I used to be a weekly regular and then I moved away. Went back last night, so excited to see the place again and got quite the shock when I saw how little up keep was done. Half the tables were ripped up, the carpets grey with ash and dirt that couldnt have been cleaned in a few years and the floors sticky. Very sad and disappointed.....Bright side is that the staff are still as amazing as before. Always friendly and super helpful. Specially the bartender!

One of my favourite places to go hang out with friends for some drinks and a night of pool.The atmosphere is very chilled and when the place is busy, theres a buzz in the air.Only downside is waiting for a table when it is busy, best to get there early.

I have been to the venue lots of times, always a great time. The deposit for a white ball for a table is R50 from the bar and a game is R5 which is not bad these days.Lots of pool tables to choose from but it does get busy so you might have to wait. Im not a smoker and it usually is smokey there with lots of people which is the only thing I dont like.

I have been going to Ballbreakers Fourways for over 4 years. Amazing bouncers, bartenders and management.I always felt safe and it is a great place to meet new people.

Aside from the air conditioning being in dire want of servicing/upgrades/improvements its a great place with more than enough tables. The cues are mostly in decent working order and the tables are leveled. The bartender, Carl, is friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience.

The area in which Ballbreakers is situated is safe and has a large parking area. Inside there are many pool tables so there is a high chance of you finding a table. The bar is reasonably priced with a draught coming in at R25-30.Great place

Our night started off quite well and turned pear shaped rapidly, toward the end. Shocking how the establishment lacked enough security to handle a small scuffle that ensued. This small tiff turned hairy as no security intervened to throw out the perpetrators.Its a real shame as I was enjoying my evening until a gun was pulled 😞😞😞.I think if security is beefed up the 1 ⭐ should turn to 4 or 5 ⭐. I would recommend body search at the entrance to all patrons.Brilliant setup though. A real shame.

Always busy, very relaxed atmosphere. You can play a slow game of pool while chatting to friends or even catch some of the rugby or football on the many screens everywhere you look. There is a bar as well. R5 gets you a game of pool

Its a great place to have chill-out hours. You can play pool which cost really cheap. Come with you buddies and enjoy live soccer. The only thing I dislike about the place is that people are smoking all around which disgusted me

Feel offended by the bartender that’s was on post by midnight on the 4th of February. Treated me like pure trash when I asked for a lighter I saw him hand out to a few other people. And he had me chased out the bar with bouncers cause I asked him why he’s not helping me, maybe it’s because I’m not a regular and because I’m black ? Would really want to speak to the manager for the bar about this issue if I have the chance to. Terrible service

Great place for a game of pool and to have a drink friends. They have a large number of pool tables but because of the popularity of the place can still run out of acailable tables over the weekend. The music can be painful since they have a jukebox in place. Worth visiting if you live around the corner.
