The restaurant is quite big and has interesting decor. There is a wheelchair ramp. They bring bowls of water and lemon to wash your hands. The menu is extensive. Many of the dishes on the menu are not easy to identify. The prawns were really good. The Gosh (mutton curry) hit the spot. The roti was thin and soft really enjoyable. The plain rice also was prepared well. If you want to try multiple dishes most will allow you to serve a taste to 5-6 people. One dish for one person is a lot of flavour for one plate. The service was really good having multiple staff taking care of us. The restaurant was running at half the capacity at the time. They claim to be halal with the exception that they do serve alcohol on premises. They have received multiple awards for the best wine. There is always the Kiosk in the entertainment area as an alternative.

The Raj,After a long and tiring air and road journey landed up in Sun City. Had dinner in The Raj restaurant, located in Sun Soho. Next to the area of slot machines!As we had group booking , were served Indian dinner in buffet style. The food as very good. Nans become a bit leathery when cold. I requested for crisp roti. Floor captain personally attended to my request, very nice of him. Overall Service excellent.Recommended for good food and service when in sun city.

Absolutely love visiting the Raj @ sun city 3x a year.Food definitely 👍 is a must try , special mention to the Butter Chicken.

This branch of the Raj is definitely superior compared to the others. The food is consistently good, especially for Indian cuisine. Service can be inconsistent. I will advise that you make a reservation - especially over peak periods as they so get busy.

Food and service was great. We had a very accomodaring waiter, Langton.But beware. They only give you the menu and the wine list. Not a drinks menu. And they are priced out of this world. 2 of us ordered Becks non alcoholic beer. Got billed at the end at nearly 54.00 EACH.

We had dinner here for one day. The ambiance inside was great. Overall food quality was good with almost everything in Indian taste. Would have loved had they also offered Ice cream/Paan.

Terribly priced for food on offer. Meat is boiled and then put into a sauce. Improve on portion sizes

The quality of their curry went down in the past few months, tastes as if they re-heat frozen food, watery.

Prawn masala was not nice at all the whole prawn still had its guts inside and also foods are over priced!
