Sometime a person just wants to break away from busy life, this is the place to be, enjoy the swimming pool and nature at its best

The lodge is beautiful. Great yard and facilities that were available. The receptionists were helpful and really kind. I enjoyed a portion of my stay there. The room are very big and spacious but there were bugs on the beds, which is understandable because the roof is thetched and obviously no ceilings.Breakfast was the worst. There was hardly and food left and i went there at 9. There was no juice as well, just the normal tea and coffee, not all tables were set had complete cutlery. I was disappointed. The breakfast was also very limited and not a vast choice to at least have a satisfactory meal was there, even if their buffet was replenished.

The place its very nice but so disappointed with the rooms. No bar fridge, no microwave, theres no enough plugs. The receptionist are also bad they take their own time and theres just a mix up of stuff there. But the place its nice. I will recommend it for day visits.

The ideal place to host and organise year end functions, its very hidden and can cater for private parties nicely. A company can book Boardroom also for meetings and strategic sessions. Accomodation for sleeping is also catered for.

Nice place to chill, swim and braai with family or friends and they also have overnight accommodation.

Its a lovely place to chill if you want tranquility.

I never had the opportunity to stay as I was badly injured and was in hospital. I was promised a refund and now more than 2 months later...after emails calls and messages, I still have norefund. I have been sent from one person to the next. VERY DISAPPOINTING

I went for a weekend and the breakfast was horrible with burned mushrooms. I then forgot my dress and when I phoned it had miraculously disappeared, I was told they never found it when I had forgotten it on the bed.The only thing that was well maintained was the swimming pool.

The service is non-existent. There is mo maitre’d in the restaurant. No waiters clearing tables and resetting places. The only guys making a concerted effort is the young chef who went out of his way to accommodate me.Ag nee sies😞Aaklig

We stayed there during a weekend and were so disappointed in everything. Firstly after arriving we got to our rooms and noticed how dirty and smelly the bathroom was. There was no hand soap and the shower floor was very disturbing. After a few we noticed how dusty the floor of the bedroom was - having walked barefoot around the room, the amount of dust under my foot was alarming. On our last morning we woke up with everything in our cooler boxes STOLEN. Food and drinks. When we requested a search from reception and the security we were told no one knows anything and that everyone had been searched. The service was extremely underwhelming and the cherry on the cake is the fact that it is not safe. I would advise people to look for accommodation elsewhere, you never know what you will get from the place.

Its an okay lodge for out-of-town accommodation. Wide swimming pool, clean and beautiful rooms. However, the owner of the facility needs to make rules regarding noise and general behaviour on common areas such as the swimming. I was here and wanted to use the swimming pool but couldnt due the high number of people who occupied the swimming pool for an entire two days, the people also made a lot of noise.Would also be great if the rooms can have atleast a bar frigde, theres no restaurant around the area, only in town. The lodge also doesnt even serve breakfast.

Beautiful place ,the staff was very friendly 10/10 for them from the receptionist to the gardener. I enjoyed the breakfast.This so called double bed of two single beds combined its really not comfortable for lovers, please revisit that department. Chalet 14 shower curtain was dirty TV not working and no rubbish bin it makes one looks untidy when throwing rubbish on the floor.

I couldnt get much sleep because of the noise that was going on by the pool, music being played at a very high volume until after 11PM. The breakfast was just a waist of time and money. I wouldnt recommend anyone to book here unless the owners change their service.

A good lodge for business meetings and small group outing

When we arrived staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. There was a huge party happening. It was so loud we had to go and find somewhere else to be for the evening. We came back to the lodge to sleep. Breakfast was ok. Nothing fantastic.

I didnt enjoy anything at Ananda lodge,the room was not clean and sheets not changed the next day just stretched,their electricity went off and there was no backup,no bar fridge..there was no one at reception when we went to hand over the keys...i am disappointed,spent 3days there and I wouldnt recommend any1 to go for vacation at Ananda.That 1 star is for the security guard who escorted me to my room when the lights went off...thank u to Shine

Sleeping rooms are great, if they could just clean their outside space, we would like to relax outside but the environment is so dirty, it doesnt look like they routinely clean outside.
