Very generous portions, delicious food....and the cake 😲💫

What a treasure this place is! Excellent food, delicious coffee, biscuits that remind me of my granny, a warm fire... Where else do you go for a leisurely brekkie? Die Melkstal will be my firm favourite whenever we are in Rustenburg area.

I have heard about the place from my friends so it was my first being there because I ordered a cake for my daughter after hearing all good things about their carrot cake. I love the place, it’s beautiful for a young outing with family or friends or lover. The cake was beautiful and the taste is just as true, it was fresh and delicious. They could try working on the communication in terms of maybe after they have received a proof of payment by email, they can try get back to the sender . Otherwise I’m happy with the service rendered and I will be coming for an outing with my friends pretty soon.

Amazing. The staff is so friendly. The one waiter (cant remember hus name) was so friendly and had the greatest personality.The coffee is outstanding, the food very nice, and I love the vibe / atmosphere the place has.I would definitly recommend The Melkstal for all age groups.

Beautiful restaurant to dine in, staff super friendly, service is on 110% percent, waiting time for your food 2 mins and covid protocols observed. Order the granadilla cake its delicious and fresh. Price range of food very fair.

I like the atmosphere. I just have concerns regarding the childrens playgroundFirstly, theres a very dangerous broken drum toy standing in the corner of the playground someones child is bound to get sent to ER. Secondly, a roof or shading over the erea will earn you more customers, those toys are burning hot. My biggest concern however are the fact that theres a back gate right next to the playground. I simply wont be relaxing if I have to worry about the safety of a child.

Food is delicious! Well presented! All staff are friendly and on keep busy. Cakes are to die for! Absolutely yummy - and beautiful! Milkshakes are great! Coffees are great. Atmosphere is lovely. Not fancy - but you eat and are treated like a royal! Will definitely be visiting here more often!

Wash your car and get something nice to eat... I would recommend something for a Monday morning after a heavy Sunday night drinking. Get yourself their chicken livers.

We are from Roodepoort and met friends for lunch. Wonderful place, menu and service, thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. When we came out to leave someone broke into our car and stole a bag with a Laptop and two iPads. The people from the Nursery were still at the car, they heard the noise! Not a nice way to end such an enjoyable afternoon!

Oooooooooh oooooooooh wow. My cousin took to this restaurant for the first on 26 June 2019 for late breakfast, we were served by Wellington (one of the best waiters I must say). Die Melkstal will always be a stop for me everytime Im in Rustenburg. Their service is the best, their food is super fresh & delicious.
