Definitely did not come as advertised. Pictures are possibly from when it first opened. Communicated our specific requirements and where told that they could accommodate us, but on arrival found it not to be suitable for what we had communicated. Remotes dont work and beds Highly uncomfortable

More expensive than it should be. Beds are not clean. The room and bathroom is clean with clean handtowls. But you have a bath that you cant use just for showering and the shower is a normal handshower that is mounted on the wall. The place where you must make coffee is so tiny place. Plugs is also not enough I have to pull out the fan to charge my phone. Although it is very safe to stay and park your car.

I like the environment, because is infront of the police station and very quite.They need to improve when preparing breakfast, it takes to long. The pool opens to late at 10:00, i like to swim early in the morning. We had incident with electricity black out from the evening till the morning and yet the management did not even apologize, make effort to rectify the inconvenience, atleast apology or explaining can make a difference.

Room was great. TV only had 3 channels with bad reception but restuarant and food was great.

Rustenburg palm lodge, its actually good for relaxation with your partner, the swimming pool is so clean and the pool bar for cold refreshments.

Enjoyed my stay there, definitely going to go back someday if I have to be travelling to Rustenburg again

Great place, the rooms are small but effectient and the the service is very good, the aircon in our room was a bit faulty so they immediately gave us another room, the staff is very friendly too. They also clean your room every morning I was greatly satisfied

Was very disappointed. Lights didnt work. Aircon did not work. Had to phone the manager for towels. Had only one towel in a family room. No linen for the extra bunker bed. Really not worth the stay for what you pay per night

It is ravishing

Room smelt strongly of smoke. Bedding was filthy. Other customers were loud and no proper security or service to assist. Rooms are boiling hot with no aircon or ceiling fan. If you wanted to sleep go somewhere else, this is basically Rustenburgs brothel.

We really didnt feel secure, even though it is literally infront of the police station. The other guests didnt follow the rules, e.g. they werent wearing masks nor were they quiet and considerate of the other guests. We feel that security/managers should inforce proper behavior at a lodge. If we hadnt traveled far for an evening event we would have driven back the same night, needless to stay we left first thing in the morning and chose to forfeit breakfast which we had booked for.

Beautiful garden court, friendly staff, lots things to keep you entertained from playing pool to swimming to the bar. I just wish there was a fridge in the room and a place where you could use a microwave as well as more television channels and darts for the darts board. But all in all a good experience.

Nice place for stop over

Their cleaners stole my 2 pair adidas sneakers and rebel safety boots. After their supervisor said its my fault that bcuz Ive been leaving my door without locked and the are thugs who always come to their places. So my question is why they didnt report to the receptionist the 1st day I went to work without locking the door and ask them to alert me that I must always make sure that I lock the door before I leave bcuz the is thugs who always come and check if the doors are locked or not? My shoes were never replace up until today and Im still saying no stranger came from outside and still my shoes its one of their cleaners and its not the lady who cleans my room. Its fine I believe my God will deal with that person. But other than that its a nice place.

It is very affordable and takes priority to its customers. I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely be going back soon.

I honestly think the owners are not race relaxed. The rooms smell of mould. Invest in air fresheners please. Too many rules are thrown around to guests. You cant really enjoy your stay, best you come back just for that slumber since youve already paid.

Rooms very were clean.Beds very comfortable.It was a home away from home except for the simple fact that they provided single beds for couples with kids😕sleeping bags that were damaged😳.But Im really happy with the standard and quality of the rooms.

The service levels here are inconsistent. Food delivery time after ordering varies from day to day. Great service from person called Curtis. Hot water is a bonus.

I was so disappointed by this place. firstly not the best welcome from reception, secondly the place is so loud could hardly sleep in peace and thirdly security doesnt look promising. I can say this, never booking there again. I only choose one star because its pre-requisite to post this.

Wonderful place but if there could be mini fridges in the rooms

Terrible customer service.Firstly the room smelled of cigarette.Secondly we had to go back and forth with the receptionist so that they could allow us to braai in their designated braai area, (with our own braai stand) on New Year’s Eve. I accept the fact that some bnb’s Have no mini fridges but the kitchen refused to help us keep food in their fridge so that it could stay fresh till we checked out, thirdly they informed us the bar was closed on New Year’s Day but the “locals” were in there having a party. The only friendly people there, were the cleaning ladies.

Loved the inclusion of a delicious breakfast as part of their package.. . Yummy!!

Palm Lodge has 2 price classes of accommodation - if you appreciate a good nights sleep and clean accommodation choose the more expensive option - we had a great nights rest - be careful when choosing cheaper option - contractors rent these rooms - very noisy residents and rooms are not so clean and comfortable - our room smelt as if it had been smoked in - and the mattress wasnt comfortable - management were kind enough to upgrade us
