Its like biting into a little piece of heaven, really!! I have never ever tasted such good cupcakes before! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OWNER!!!I went to pick up a cake and the staff had messed up my order, they customized a wrong cake. I then presented proof by means of a whatsapp chat and I requested the staff to customize the correct cake, I was very understanding of their mistake and I was also willing to wait for cake, however, To my surprise, the feedback was TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT and this instruction came from the owner. With that kind of attitude from the owner to customers, I CAN NEVER BUY FROM THIS SHOP NOR REFER ANYONE.

Wow is all I can say! I ordered a printed cake for my son and made the order a day before picking up, Sanele who was assisting me was amazing, extremely professional and helpful! The cake itself was Chocolate flavoured with an Oreo filling and ticked all the right boxes, it was moist and the icing was not overly sweet. There was also a good cake to icing ratio (allot of bakers do the latter as its cheaper and usually becomes cloyingly sweet) and the flavours worked well together, it was also pleasing to the eye and fitted the exact description and colours I wanted. Lastly before I get carried away about cake (not a first for me, im a cake-a-holic) this cake was reasonably priced and definitely value for money. Do yourself a favour and order your next cake from Cake and Bake, I know I will!

It is important to have telephone etiquette skills in a company. Just called the store to enquirer about their prices before i order , the person i spoke to quickly made me to change my mind about ordering the cake from them. Impatient, quick to hang up on me , i ask a question to be clear SHE reply with an irritated tone. Will try other cake stores.

Awesome service

Made an appointment for our wedding cake over whatsapp and email with Danielle. When we arrived at the establishment we were informed she no longer works there, the receptionist went to get Mandy. Unprofessionally she started yelling at the receptionist saying that I told her to make the appointment! We overheard everything. When she came to assist us Mandy was extremely rude and had no sort of customer service skills or manners frankly. We were told that the head baker was not in (why was this not mentioned before we got there and wasted our time? Never got a straight answer from her). We asked when he will be in she said she doesnt know. She did not once apologize for the mix up and blamed us for arriving without an appointment. She continued yelling in an impolite tone and said that we shouldnt be there without an appointment as it is a large establishment!. She then said that the receptionist does not have their email credentials so she wouldnt know anything. This so called large establishment has not the slightest clue of what customer service is nor organizational skills.. How does this business plan on getting customers if they employ such clueless and ill mannered people that have no idea on how to treat customers. It was a very disappointing and unruly experience. Will never recommend Cake and Bake to anyone. I will be taking my business elsewhere as it is clearly not wanted. Mandy your behaviour was revolting. Its such a pity that negative individuals like yourself tarnish business brands like Cake and Bake.

I purchased a two tier cake only to find out the top part of the cake had a burnt and stale taste. Of which my previous (day before) order was incorrectly flavored but i let it slide hoping the following day my order wont get messed up. But having to serve my family a burnt and stale cake was unecceptable luck enough I had tasted the cake before..I sent a complaint thinking it would be acknowledged, it has been two weeks not even call to apologize for such poor service.

I was delightfully surprised to see beautifully created cakes on the Cake and Bake facebook page, together with a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the cake I received was nothing like the images and direction I provided. I asked for a marble fondant icing and was given black icing with white pen marks, the printed images on the cake were not cut out very well and the improvised elements added to the cake looked skew and out of place. Sadly, not a happy customer.
